Topic: Morning After from hell: Naruto and Sakura have just gotten back from a mission gone six ways to hell, even Naruto's mask is cracked. The next morning, a very surprised Naruto wakes up relaxed as all hell, hell even the 'fox' didn't give him nightmarish images for dreams. However when he gets up he notices something wrong... Haruno Sakura on him...nude and very sweaty.

Genre: take your pic.... well anything but humor. This is a serious fic. It deals with popularity, happyness, hate, and most of all akward love.

Rating: PG-13- NC-17 (depends on if you wish for flashbacks or not)

Permeters:

Be serious- this fic can turn into a humor type of fic quite easily, but it's more designed for a serious side of what happens when strange relationship tangels occur between a close friend and someone who thinks they love someone else.

Time- The general area this fic is geared toward is around the time that Sasuke is in Konoha. Oppertune area's for this fic to take place would be shortly after Zabuza arc, or sometime after Chunnin exam but just before the appearance of the four sound nin.

Characterization- This fic will require deep understanding of characters of Sakura and Naruto. How they would react given to waking up after an unexpected "morning-after," How this will change relationships between "Lucky Team Seven."

Or is the pre-soundnin thing more so that sasuke will be there for the resulting superbowl half-time show?

Ninja grow up quick. You never know when your last day will come as it doesn't matter all the power you possess... one well placed Kunai and your dead.

Even the grandmaster of all Taijutsu schools, a master of the Bakyagan and Sharigan would fall before a well trained nin. Cold truth... Ninja's do NOT rely on power. They rely on stealth, on decimating the powers to leave them for the more powerfull people.

Can you honestly say that Naruto's world is free of that? I wouldn't be surprised if betrothal between families is enforced at early ages to ensure a mate for the Shinobi and Kunoichi.

Thus you say 12-13 year olds having sex might be odd? Just consider the type of job they do for occupation.

As for how they know? Any bets that Naruto was given one of Jiariya's books to read during the training? As for Sakura... well think bout it.

It's not using sex to be dirty ne ways, it's using Sex as a method to cause chaos...theres a diffrence ^^;;;

Hmm, I had seen the timescale for the fic as being when they become Chuunins or such - sort of AU, but still in character. ; I guess I must have misunderstood you when you said it was "after Chuunin"!

I did have an idea for a fic, but they're older in that (17-18) - I needed Naruto to be a little more mature, and for him and Sakura to have established a deeper friendship (thus giving the proposed situation more gravity and realism in a way). Sakura is sort of suffering after seeing Sasuke back in everyday life (he's on probation), her old crush emotions start coming back out - it's like how seeing someone after so long can trigger memories and feelings, knocking you for six. I had the event happen soon after they drag Sasuke back from the Sound, so Sakura gets caught in the conflict between new and old emotions - which is more realistic than just having her endlessly chase him for years no matter what.

Is this still admissable? ;

It will be a little while before I write this fic, since I am finishing up the Xmas special (ack! Get writing Smiter! Got to post it by tonight!) and I still have one more story to finish before I can do any new ones!

It's an interesting challenge because it's different, and I haven't really written any fics heavy in emotional conflict/angst (of course, keeping it restrained and "realistic").

Then you loose one premisis of the fic...

Akwardness around other and the oppinons of everyone being slightly against Naruto.

As he grows up it gets a tad harder for that scenerio to play out... people respect him too much.

Thus I hate to say it, but that wouldn't be a good idea to use that age for Naruto.


*sides it seems every Naruto\Sakura fic seems to make him age to 'legal' levels, this one is to really be nutty as dealing with him having hell as puberty is going full swing AND the whole fic playing out. Thats why a 16-18 Naruto might not be such a good idea ^^;;;; *

i... don't understand the point of this post. I never said that ninjas rely on power or naruto's world is free from "that". That's what you're implying.



anywayz ninja might grow up fast but... i think the reason why there was so little in the way of relationships so far in the manga is ecause they're sitll young'uns.

Honestly if you're advocating realism with your theory on marriages we have no idea when they actually marry... but genins are still genins. C and D rank missions have a negligable amount of danger. The first real taste of danger would be during a war or the chuunin exams. Theoretically unless it was during times of war early marriages wouldn't be necessary for genins. Long-term engagements sureeee... but actual marriages?


oh and mask? Is he an ANBU then? (cracked mask) Or is it jsut a random mask?

well people won't necessarily respect him more... the only reason why people would respect him more is by giving them a reason to... just don't give them a reason to. If anything they should hate him more because the "kyuubi" is getting older and much much stronger.



Either way (13 or 17) really is fine with me. I admit the playing on sakura's "innocence" and her tween-ish ideals on love and watnot sounds appealing. Sure is going to be difficult though. Imagine yourself as a 13-year-old girl. *shudders* I have a tween sister at home.

Well since I started the topic I came out with ideas of my own ^^;;;

These ideas can be used if you wish... but they are the original thoughts I had for the fic idea ^^... well during the chat I had with Smiter only this is our discussion from today.



Tatsunohouou (11:56:04): Naruto is not well liked by the village and minimully accepted in the shinobi ranks, barely accepted in the population of normal villagers...but then again none would move against him while the Hokage is around.

Thus when Naruto and Sakura awake... first she becomes self concious and orders Naruto to look away, and after getting dressed...makes him swear not to tell anyone *can see that happening, although he might swear for her reguardless*

She can't understand why the boy she loves isn't in her mind, but the one she is trying to forgive and befriend.

(originally, the idea was created to occur just after Zabuza, when Sakura would be most confused. But the idea of Garaa being fought by Naruto might work to confuse her some more. ^^;;;; )

Sakura freaks out when Kakashi notices this behavoior of hers (looking at Naruto and blushing from time to time) and she ends up publicly shouting how absolutely nuts it was for anything to be with Naruto.

I can't do this story in any less than NC17. The topic is just too important and the sex is practically the point, as far as I understand. It's a tool I cannot afford to throw away.

Also, I figure they're going to be about 16 when I write this. That's about the lowest age that still fits the comfort level for most people, while being old enough to be both reasonably mature and completely irrational at the same time. Been a teen is great, huh?

Yep, the morning after IS the setting action. Without it... we have no reason for Sakura and Naruto's confusion.

Although I wish it were that they were much younger then everyone seems to wish to work with. More to the point of around the time hormones f with the mind, and sexual intrest screws with the mind alot.... (maximising the chaos) oh well.

heh, that was originally a important part to the fic... but since everyone seems to ignore it... oh well... It's optional I guess.
