My biggest issue with a all of this is why are the editors made up of otakus and obvious people who know nothing about writing? How did these people get such high end jobs in an industry that just makes the creative writers miserable? Everyday I am afraid to lose my job over one little problem or incident that might occur during the hours with bosses that are so highly strict that they blame you for everything even if it their fault. That being said when these guys mess up....nothing. These editors just come in and change everything up, make the writer miserable, and then say how much of a genius they are only to keep said job for a decade or so.
Drop in sales? Oh well obviously it must be the fans fault, not the editors.
People hate the story? Oh well it is obvious people don't get it, it is not the editors fault.
How do these people keep their damn jobs? I make one mistake and I could easily be fired. They can screw up an entire industry and all they get is a slap on the hand. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.
I never get this backwards world. If you have 90% people wanting one way and the 10% want it another way, why are they so adamant on pleasing the 10%? Why is it that the minority always get first dibs, first sips, and first priority? It's bullcrap.
- I know people say that pairings are nothing, and sure there's some validity toward that.
This is by far the most infuriating argument I see people use to "explain" the Naruto ending. I hate it so much.
"Naruto is not a romance manga"
Well, you could have fooled me when all anyone wants to talk about if Hinata and her love affair with Naruto. How you spend an entire movie, 7 anime episodes, several books, and more on nothing more than "The beautiful and wonderful wedding of Naruto and Hinata" and say with a straight face it is not a romance manga? If this series is NOT about romance, then why is it all they want to show? Instead of showing Naruto be a hero, we have to spend 36 hours watching Hinata pick out a wedding dress. Instead of an awesome battle with Team 7, we have to spend 800 pages discussing what everyone is getting for Naruto and Hinata's wedding. Instead of a story about moral issues of bonds and understand, we get Hinata fainting and having dirty thoughts about Naruto.
Bull-friggin-crap "Naruto is not a romance manga." It may not have started out that way, but it sure as hell ended up as one because degenerate otakus are running the industry.
I feel like that scene in Airheads when Chazz is talking about these Yuppy fakers running the Rock and Roll industry when they have no idea what it is truly like to be a rock star. To play at a venue where the only people to listen to you play are the other band mates and their girfriends...."Don't talk to me about rock and roll. I AM ROCK AND ROLL." When you live a life really about the music and the inspiration and not about the drugs or the fame. Remember when music used to tell a story? Now it is just "Sex sex sex, kittenes, drugs, money money money." Yawn.
That's what it is with this. People are telling us what makes a story, how do you write a story, and what will "appeal" to the market because they are so intelligent, but these same people have never written a book in their life or written a story and yet think they are more important than the writer themselves. It is utter bullcrap. I am so sick of living in a world full of fakers who think they are hot stuff when they are not. Some people spend their lives reaching for something and they get nowhere...these guy get lucky once and make one good deal and then think they know everything about it.
"Oh yeah I was the editor to three very successful novels." You act like you wrote it yourself....screw you.
Kishimoto...it is just a name now. A name that Misashi sold out to a bunch of otakus who wanted to live their fantasies rather than live in truth. That is not love, that is wish fullfillment. These people are miserable and think they can vicariously live their lives throuhg pathetic facsimilies.
And worse still when people fall for this garbage. I am ashamed to be American everytime someone falls for this garbage claiming it is "good writing" and believes all the lies being told. It's not. It's complete and total garbage and they need to accept that.
Naruto was good once, but it all fell apart around the war arc. It may have fell apart earlier, but it truly crumbled when the War Arc started...all because these "editors" thought they can make trillions of money catering to a fanbase that has no idea what true love is. They pasted carboard over the holes to try and "fix" the issues, but as soon as it rains...it crumbles again. Over and Over again.
I truly do not know what is worse...the fact that these editors think that this was all okay...or the fans that support this kind of industry. That support this garbage tier writing just because their favorite characters gets a spotlight.
Screw them. Screw them all. I hate Hinata, I hate her fanbase, and I hate everything she represents. To me, she will always be the worse anime character ever in the history of anime and I will even willing to write that on my grave.
To add to this this is people's idea of romance:
*Two guys walk past each other*
Guy 1: What's up?
Guy 2: Nothing much, how about you?
Fans: "OMG THE BOY LOVE IS INTENSE. THEY SHOULD TOTALLY HOOK UP."
They take insiginificant moments and make them out to be some high end shakespearian love affair. Since when has romance become so stupid? I have heard of over the top, but this is ridiculous. Like, it pisses me off people are like "Saitama and Genos should totally be a couple" when it is clearly stated that they are not gay and it is a kind of teacher student relationship. What the hell is wrong with people?
