I just feel really that a lot of the characters in Wing could have been better in development, since on paper, the idea is plausible, but it failed.

OK, here's some Tumblr articles for Naruto stuff, guys, like mostly just calling out the BS about a "happy" NaruHina family and how NaruSaku was really happy.

http://bubblegalaxyl...o-happy-yes-100

https://neonnerdrage...-i-did-it-again

I just don't get it. I mean I can understand Hokage being demanding and drama coming from that, but if they were so adamant about having NaruHina, why do they make them look incredibly unhappy the rest of the time?

Partially because they now realize that it isn't a good relationship and that Hinata was never a compatible choice for Naruto(that's why they've been attempting to modify her personality by imparting Sakura-like traits to her behavior, but that strategy fell flat). However, because they were the ones who pushed Kishimoto into making this pair happen, they can't back out now and openly admit that they made a mistake.  That's why they give lip service about the NaruHina marriage being a joyous and healthy relationship for the NH crowd(and being the deluded nuts that they are, they'll buy it without question) while they surreptitiously wink at the NaruSaku fanbase by visually demonstrating how miserable they truly are or creating dialogue like Sakura stating that Naruto was more than family to her(which implies that she had - and possibly still has - romantic feelings for him).

Essentially, they're trying to appeal to both fanbases without having to compromise and are trying to draw the NS fans back into the fold, but it won't work.  NS fans have been onto them since the beginning and we aren't buying what they're selling.  Even if they actually mustered up the balls to have Naruto divorce Hinata and marry Sakura, the damage has been done.

I don't know, I'd actually watch if a divorce happened and Naruto got with Sakura. That would just be interesting to see. Hell, I'd even take an alternate ending movie where Naruto and Sakura got together.

My biggest issue with a all of this is why are the editors made up of otakus and obvious people who know nothing about writing? How did these people get such high end jobs in an industry that just makes the creative writers miserable? Everyday I am afraid to lose my job over one little problem or incident that might occur during the hours with bosses that are so highly strict that they blame you for everything even if it their fault. That being said when these guys mess up....nothing. These editors just come in and change everything up, make the writer miserable, and then say how much of a genius they are only to keep said job for a decade or so.

Drop in sales? Oh well obviously it must be the fans fault, not the editors.
People hate the story? Oh well it is obvious people don't get it, it is not the editors fault.

How do these people keep their damn jobs? I make one mistake and I could easily be fired. They can screw up an entire industry and all they get is a slap on the hand. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

I never get this backwards world. If you have 90% people wanting one way and the 10% want it another way, why are they so adamant on pleasing the 10%? Why is it that the minority always get first dibs, first sips, and first priority? It's bullcrap.

 -  I know people say that pairings are nothing, and sure there's some validity toward that.

This is by far the most infuriating argument I see people use to "explain" the Naruto ending. I hate it so much.

"Naruto is not a romance manga"

Well, you could have fooled me when all anyone wants to talk about if Hinata and her love affair with Naruto. How you spend an entire movie, 7 anime episodes, several books, and more on nothing more than "The beautiful and wonderful wedding of Naruto and Hinata" and say with a straight face it is not a romance manga? If this series is NOT about romance, then why is it all they want to show? Instead of showing Naruto be a hero, we have to spend 36 hours watching Hinata pick out a wedding dress. Instead of an awesome battle with Team 7, we have to spend 800 pages discussing what everyone is getting for Naruto and Hinata's wedding. Instead of a story about moral issues of bonds and understand, we get Hinata fainting and having dirty thoughts about Naruto.

Bull-friggin-crap "Naruto is not a romance manga." It may not have started out that way, but it sure as hell ended up as one because degenerate otakus are running the industry.

I feel like that scene in Airheads when Chazz is talking about these Yuppy fakers running the Rock and Roll industry when they have no idea what it is truly like to be a rock star. To play at a venue where the only people to listen to you play are the other band mates and their girfriends...."Don't talk to me about rock and roll. I AM ROCK AND ROLL." When you live a life really about the music and the inspiration and not about the drugs or the fame. Remember when music used to tell a story? Now it is just "Sex sex sex, kittenes, drugs, money money money." Yawn.

That's what it is with this. People are telling us what makes a story, how do you write a story, and what will  "appeal" to the market because they are so intelligent, but these same people have never written a book in their life or written a story and yet think they are more important than the writer themselves. It is utter bullcrap. I am so sick of living in a world full of fakers who think they are hot stuff when they are not. Some people spend their lives reaching for something and they get nowhere...these guy get lucky once and make one good deal and then think they know everything about it.

"Oh yeah I was the editor to three very successful novels." You act like you wrote it yourself....screw you.

Kishimoto...it is just a name now. A name that Misashi sold out to a bunch of otakus who wanted to live their fantasies rather than live in truth. That is not love, that is wish fullfillment. These people are miserable and think they can vicariously live their lives throuhg pathetic facsimilies.

And worse still when people fall for this garbage. I am ashamed to be American everytime someone falls for this garbage claiming it is "good writing" and believes all the lies being told. It's not. It's complete and total garbage and they need to accept that.

Naruto was good once, but it all fell apart around the war arc. It may have fell apart earlier, but it truly crumbled when the War Arc started...all because these "editors" thought they can make trillions of money catering to a fanbase that has no idea what true love is. They pasted carboard over the holes to try and "fix" the issues, but as soon as it rains...it crumbles again. Over and Over again.

I truly do not know what is worse...the fact that these editors think that this was all okay...or the fans that support this kind of industry. That support this garbage tier writing just because their favorite characters gets a spotlight.

Screw them. Screw them all. I hate Hinata, I hate her fanbase, and I hate everything she represents. To me, she will always be the worse anime character ever in the history of anime and I will even willing to write that on my grave.

To add to this this is people's idea of romance:
*Two guys walk past each other*
Guy 1: What's up?
Guy 2: Nothing much, how about you?

Fans: "OMG THE BOY LOVE IS INTENSE. THEY SHOULD TOTALLY HOOK UP."

They take insiginificant moments and make them out to be some high end shakespearian love affair. Since when has romance become so stupid? I have heard of over the top, but this is ridiculous. Like, it pisses me off people are like "Saitama and Genos should totally be a couple" when it is clearly stated that they are not gay and it is a kind of teacher student relationship. What the hell is wrong with people?

Look at Marvel, they're infected with that sort of mindset right now. Its full of SJWS who blockade the entrance for anyone except people who think like them. Who then run smear campaigns when someone breaks with rank and file. All you need is one bad editor, or one GOOD editor to make or break you if you're a weak, impressionable writer.

But the lack of integrity destroyed Hinata as well. She was supposed to be better. She wasn't supposed to marry Naruto. Marrying Naruto is exactly what makes her worthless, as inexorably as what they did to Sakura.

It really depends on the editor and the mangaka. Yuu watase has a horror story about a very pushy, out right awful editor who despite the fact that Watase was already a successful mangaka at the time of writing was basically treated like a dunce and forced to redraw things over and over.

At first she was too nice to do anything about it and her health started suffering. At some point that editor was replaced and things got better.

What are some of her works?

Yeah, no kidding, and it ruined all the potential she had, which is what irks me about her and Naruto not developing from the word "Go", since it ruined Hinata's potential when all she became obsessed with was Naruto, and just wanting subconsciously to see him fail so she could live vicariously off of that failure and his determination to never give up.

Bold I know exactly what you mean. I have seen this behavior with shows like Voltron Legendary Defender. People saying that Keith and Lance are in love when they started as rivals to comrades nothing that gives any sign of romance. Anyone can see that but the fandom of this ship is so damn toxic they will come up with anything to justify their ship. They see too much into the situation claiming it's "canon" and the ship will happen. Even one fan went too far that was willing to leak pictures of the show and demanded for the producers and writers to make the ship canon or he will leak them to the internet.

Another example is RWBY with the Bumblebee fandom (Blake/Yang ship). In my opinion they're very good friends, partners and even best friends but the shippers see nothing but a ship being developed. So apparently if Yang hugs Blake as a way to comfort her because she's her damn friend they immediately say" Bumblebee canon". Or they shared a dance that wasn't a close romantic one, "they're in love". It's always love over friendship. They ignore the fact that they're just good friends and immediately jump to the ship wagon.

I hate these kinds of fans which sadly many of them are like that because shippers will always ship. But there's a limit to take it too far.

I want him to go chop up Sasuke and then Firaga the remains. And after this happened Sakura would fall in love with Sephiroth, because he's so much more competent and appealing that Sasuke looks entirely useless in comparison. Or at least that would be the case if he wasn't dead and his body destroyed. Then they would inject Sarada with Mako energy or whatever so that she doesn't have to be an Uchiha anymore, and it could be like Seph adopted her.

Anyone is free to steal that crossover fanfic idea.

:lmao: sephiroth would presumably have to break free of "mother" to be interested in anyone other than cosmic domination though :zaru:

Seph's life is actually beyond tragic. Makes Sasuke's look like a cake walk.

Yes, that's another argument. He actually deserves to be redeemed. He would actually deserve all that pathetic effort and devotion, even if it would be useless. With Sasuke, even if it would have worked, he didn't deserve it. He chose everything he did, and Seph didn't really.

So both sakura and Sarada get mako energy cool, have him kill hinata and Sasuke at the same time since he can do that and use heartless angel on hinata cause she's not worth the effort. Sephiroth would get over he's mommy obsession. Sakura and Sarada would be truly strong and get wings.

^This, so true.

Amen, Graven, and as I said in a reply to Yojeveka, I've seen that happen in too many fandoms I'm into, and how sometimes, it isn't just the fans, it's also the freaking people WORKING on the series. @_@

Yes, that's another argument. He actually deserves to be redeemed. He would actually deserve all that pathetic effort and devotion, even if it would be useless. With Sasuke, even if it would have worked, he didn't deserve it. He chose everything he did, and Seph didn't really.

Playing Crisis Core was really painful, because you got to see what a great guy Sephiroth actually was :argh: and then knowing his childhood and his future it hits you right in the feelz FF7 is a truly depressing compilation.

I BLAME GENESIS. redcoated jerk ;__;

And Hojo, and Jenova, and Lucrecia :zaru:
