Now we who have brains will no Hinata has done something both stupid and very selfish as well, but her fans would just twist it saying the kids that have died and been killed do not matter.

Since I was thinking about the ending again lately, I decided I wanted to write a story where the post-canon Sakura is redeemed, Naruto is able to find acceptance, and after many years, Sasuke explains the depth of the love he felt for Sakura in that moment at the Konoha gates.
The bromance between Naruto and Sasuke is central, despite the great love that both men had for the simple, unassuming kunoichi named Haruno Sakura. It's heartwarming, and a true Team 7 love story.

Sasuke always looks so cool in fanarts where he actually wears normal ninja clothes. Like the jonin/chunin vest, long pants, etc. Why does his fashion style have to be so weird and different?

Don't forget how she was more concerned about fighting alongside her kitten buddy, then she was about potentially leaving both of her children as orphans. That was her most selfish action to date.
Hm? Could you explain that to me? Not trying to be an annoying troll who question every single post that won't agree with me It's just that I haven't seen anything post ch 700 and I still don't feel like it xD
...
Btw, Drunkuto? Seriously?
This is why I love you so much, guys

If I'm not mistaken, he's talking about when the village is under attack by the main antagonist from the Boruto film, Hinata literally left their children with Ino I think only to "go save" his lovely husband,of course it ends with her getting hospitalized Further proof Hinata doesn't care about anything but being with Naruto, considering she lefts her OWN OFFSPRING alone when the effing village is under attack.

She also told Boruto to protect or save his father, I forget, when he was going to fight the Ootsutsuki guy. Nothing about "Make sure you don't die, Boruto". Naruto is clearly still the main thing on her mind.

Hinata is sooo ugly that when she was born, the doctor threw her out of the window and then the window threw her back.

But those melons, would you look at those melons.
Which I've told you - time and time again - is dangerous! There will never be consensus, son, among those you have helped to ascend. They will all differ in their views of what it means to be free. The peace you so desperately seek does not exist.
These men are united now by a common cause. But when this battle is finished they will fall to fighting amongst themselves about how best to ensure control. In time it will lead to war. You will see.

But at least Homer loves his family and tries to be there for him, even with his flaws. Naruto seems to indicate he wants NOTHING to do with his family anymore hence using his work as an excuse.
And Marge also doesn't ALWAYS enable Homer or Bart, she can sometimes put her foot down when she has to.
Of course he doesn't want to have anything to do with the, I mean who in his right mind would want to go home to a stalker, a whining talking burrito and a mop head chucky doll?
That is not a picture that would make anyone happy.

Kids are expendable. :)

It's basically like, what if Naruto's "love turned into hate" like an Uchiha? But I understand why you would hate it. There's no selfless desire for Sakura to be happy from Naruto. He's completely OOC. And I didn't mean to imply they'd eventually end up like ObiRin. They're over. It's just cynical, selfish and miserable.
I have a soft spot for dark Naruto.

There are episodes where Homer actually sacrifices to help his kids. Naruto would never do that kind of kitten. Like Homer sold his tickets for the Duff Blimp to enter Lisa in a beauty contest so that she could feel better about herself.
I can'\t imagine this new Naruto being willing to embarrass himself as Hokage, or something, just to help his kids with a problem. They seem so peripheral and unimportant to him.
Or where he give up the last ribwitch ever to be there for Lisa in a spelling contest, Homer is a better father then naruto, and staying on the Simpsons anyone else see sakura as frank grimes how she punished for everything she does and hinata gets praised for nothing only different is sakura won't go crazy and kill herself.
Actually both buck and Naruto are awful dad's only using there kids accomplishments to further their reputation.Homer Simpson? Buck Click is father of the year compared to Narudo.

I'll buy that as naruto was the only thing on her mind in the last when her sister got her eyes ripped out.
That actually makes sense.Hinata is sooo ugly that when she was born, the doctor threw her out of the window and then the window threw her back.

Both Hinata and Sasuke are Homer, while Naruto and Sakura would be Frank Grimes.
So what's everyone's guess for when Kishi pulls a Rowling and admits that it should have been NS as the final pairing?
I say when around the time boruto starts to fail
I don't believe he will. You know why? Because I don't think he actually regrets anything. Things he has said like Sakura being a terrible woman would taste like poison in his mouth if he really was committed to the characters. He was probably talked both into and out of NS by editors and other extraneous sources outside of his own head. He didn't realize what he actually had, so he didn't value it. Maybe if he read the manga like 10 years later when he had forgotten many things he would think this way?
But I don't think it will ever happen.

Hey, we gotta keep ourselves entertained with the BS ending we got, girl, so we all gotta find ways to make ourselves laugh and deride the series for ruining itself.

What do you guys think Kishimoto's intention was to resolve the fake confession? And why did he even write it?
The confession is something that anyone who believes Kishimoto's intention was NH can easily refer to. And I have a hard time arguing that the scene is anything but a disaster for NS. Because of Sakura's nebulous feelings and because of Naruto's terrible reaction to it.
No matter how honest he intended Sakura to be, it would only make things harder for the two characters. Any future confession would be a callback to that one. It was anti the pairing. I honestly think he wanted to give himself a way out of having to do the pairing. Maybe not because he wanted to do NH, but just to give himself options. Then he eventually decided on NH and continued to fuel a pairing war to the very end as everyone saw. If he ended up doing NS anyway, he could just use the bench scene and do whatever. The confession would still be bizarre in retrospect, but not as weird as the ending actually ended up being.
The natural thing for the reader and what Naruto assumed is that Sakura doesn't love him. And that ended up being correct. There's just very few ways that it can be seen as good. A way it could have been written as good for the pairing is a "No, but we'll talk about this later" answer from Naruto. Not the answer we got which was basically "kitten off, you're a liar"
Another way is if they actually revisited it sometime before the end, but that would probably have had its own issues. Because how then do you resolve it without resolving the pairing entirely?

the process of Kishi's pussy, clit, and ovaries turning into dic* and balls would have to begin first.

Guess there's isn't much to say about this. We all know that LoI was the second worst arc in Shippuuden. Everyone pretty much went OOC and we had tons of pointless drama. Speaking of which, I guess that was Kishimoto's intention. Adding a whole soap opera for Team Seven because Akatsuki was over and he needed something spicy and interesting (?) So our dorama begins with:
An obsessed Naruto getting his butt kicked because he loved Sasuke so much. No one else matters, 'kay? The hell is a promise of a lifetime? Can you eat one?
Sasuke having this mental breakdown and trying to kill his ex/current partners. Yeah... Sorry?
But wait... There is someone missing! Oh, right, there was this pink haired main character, right? We should include her somehow.
Soooo...
Sakura realizing temporary that Sasuke is truly evil and doing an effort to confront him
Sakura having such a terrible confession in order to protect Naruto and giving up her goal of being useful for him.
In the end, they started to went downhill and we didn't realize it. Or maybe we did, but we trusted that the author would make amends after that. 'Cause you know, when something really bad happens in a shonen, we're supposed to see how it gets better eventually, right? Solutions, redemptions and/or closure.
Then, everything changed when the A$$pull nation attacked

I still cringe when I remember how Naruto fainted when Gaara gave him a dose of reality about his Sasuke. Also seeing Naruto, aka "Hero of the Hidden Leaf at that point" get beat into a pulp by Karui was also equally cringy. I mean earlier in Shippuden it was about Naruto keeping his promise to Sakura (still lame but whatever), but afterwards his motives for the Sauce went full retard.
Sasuke looked like he had PTSD, and was ready to kill anyone, including his teacher and former teammates. Not to mention he assaulted the equivalent of a UN meeting of world leaders (Kages). *cough* All's forgotten apparently *cough*
And Sakura's confession. I mean what exactly was the point of that? That felt so out of place/character. If she wanted to protect Naruto from what she's doing couldn't she think of anything better?

It was practically the start of the downward spirtal. It was also around the time when I was expecting an end to Naruto. Pfft who would've thought it would go on for another 5 years?!! I dropped it sometime around 2010, because the writing was just getting derailed. Midway it spiked my interest to see how the arc was going and bam, by 2014, we got the cherry on top of the crap sundae.
Times I wish I didn't come back to catch up.
"Only the editor, master of all great Naruto arcs could stop him, but when the World needed him most, he vanished!"
