Did you Ever wonder why misty left for good from the original pokemon series?

And this Shudo is now another person I hate with a passion he is like Kishi and SP Misty didn't fit in what he felt a woman should be and from what I read liked Team Rocket more.

 

Poor Misty is all I can say.

Thats bad. I never liked Misty much but I always wanted her back. The team dynamic then was great and I miss her. However, as far as pokegirls go HIkari/Dawn is by far the most developed female and I love her. Wish there was more of her.

Oh that is true makes me want to make sure she gets the love she needs now just like Sakura, we can't blame them for this we need to blame the writers.

 

But what I want to knbow is why even become a damn writer in the first place when you can't do your job?

this song was on a pokemon soundtrack, there was a cut scene in one of the movies wich had ash going off a cliff to save pikachu, misty's screamin/crying while tracey holds her back, in the pokemon christmas CD one song had her saying "give me one dance with ash, at the pokemon christmas bash", another one is her singing under the mistletoe, not bringing her back in  the anime shines a new emotional light on THIS song:

I disagree shudo isn't that bad compared to kishi he did have some good ideas for pokemon back then. Like he was going to make a movie were it explains how real animals exist in the pokemon world and the original series was less formulaic back then. The only thing shudo was bad at is his treatment towards misty.

Doesn't change the fact on why his reasoning for Misty to leave the show is sexist BTW I hear that the female companions for each region in the anime partly for fans to have some eye candy, but if it's a kid's anime what's the need for it I question. EH I don't know..................................

And you would be right as well I remember reading that is why they have new girls show up which is for eye candy which is wrong I mean they are 10 for crying out loud.

 

Then again we need to remember that SP had Hinata dancing naked a a waterful so shows how sick Japan is and we know its the males behind it as well, something I'm thankful that Pokemon has not done as far as I know I mean. I don't even want to think about it really as it scares me that much.

 

But hey one thing I will say for Misty is she has more spine then all the girls in Naruto, and Ash well better than the last scumbag.

Yeah I mean cultural differences aside, I don't see the point of saying that a kodomouke anime needs fanservice in the first place. I mean it's aimed at kids who wouldn't be interested in that sort of thing anyway. at least not very much.

Very late reply i agree with what you said it dosen't change the fact that misty got poorly treated due to sexism but at the same time he's one who made the pokemon anime and made sure things weren't too repetitive like how the the anime is nowadays. I can't hate him entirely because of that.

True enough. Whatever his faults were he at least made the the anime more diverse than how it is now. But Still it's a sexist attitude to have and I don't like it whatever his accomplishments and contributions maybe. It's like you say, you can't hate him for it. But at the same time it's nothing to commend either, though I'm not saying you are I'm just speaking generally
