About the last episode, I must say Fenris did  a really interesting observation:

so i feel like
sakura could be wishing so hard for naruto to be alive that... :) just some thoughts bout next chapter.

 

If Sakura manages to trigger some sort of "miracle of love" that brings back Naruto, it would be the confirmation we were waiting for. The cool about this is it doesn't need to be a explicit confession, but still has the weight and credibility needed for a convincing development

 

Also it would fit with the Matrix-esque that some fans have been speculating for the NS canonization:

 

The protagonist dies, the heroine realize her feelings, the love triggers a "miracle"  and the protagonist returns stronger than ever.

Humm the size of breasts are they out of their mind or what!!! I dont believe it . So the whole parallal theory really has more importance in this matter than we think parallal cant only based upon looks. Its upon attitude character devlopment , even fighting style can be taken in to consideration and all that has kishi shown us about sakura and kushina its precisely clear that they r parallal. There is no debate on it. They have a lot of things in common. Minato although a bit sigh but is just like naruto or perhaps i should say naruto is more like monato when he gets serious. Funny always smiling talented like minato strong and hardworking likekushina. So naruto can be parallal to both kushina and minato

when it comes to NS we can clearly see how it is parallal to obirin minakushi and jiratsu. Three main pairings that has a base in the series. Dantsu can also be parallal in some point of view

Though I laughed my ass off on this, on the inside it makes me feel sad that NH fans can talk something like this! Its ok to say Kushina looks so sexy/cute and all but why physical features! I mean cmmon Kushina seriously deserves something much much way much better than this ridiculous statement. It really is a pain when Kushina is compared like this. Its so cheap! NH fans really need to grow up, if not, atleast they can learn to give some respect!

He is saying that Naruto literally it's between the life and the death, and probably Obito and Sakura are doing the impossible to resurrect him. Also it confirms that Hagoromo is some kind of spectre  that transcends the time

No, there's been discussion about it all over the board -- here and on the chapter thread. I'm not sure how you missed it. A lot of people think the water means Naruto's subconscious, and it might be. It's a good bet.

No I was pointing to the fact that BEFORE 669 chapter, nobody thought about it. Myself included. We all thought we might saw Naruto in limbo, or that he would wake up in front of Sakura, we all thought about Sakura's reaction. But nobody thought that we could see Naruto in his inner self, meeting Kurama (even if he hasn't met him yet, it's just about time after he's finished with Hagoromo), and I think it's good on Kishi's part to have done it this way =).
 

Naruto couldn't have awakened in front of Sakura because of the water. Like I said, the last we saw Naruto was still lying on Gaara's sand. If he had awakened in front of Sakura there would be sand beneath him, not water. (Unless Kishimoto made a continuity mistake, which is possible.)

Yes of course, it's just the same as I said earlier. I was pointing to the fact that BEFORE 669 chapter, nobody thought of it. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
 

In the scenario I described, Jiraiya would not be brought back to life. Naruto would be dead and seeing Jiraiya in the afterlife, in the same way Kakashi saw his father. Then Naruto would return to the living, and Jiraiya would remain dead.

Yeah I understood that ^^ It's just, it's another way to see him again, even that he's dead ^^
And as much as I wanted Naruto to meet him during Pain arc, now I would prefer him to stay in peace I think. I don't really know anymore.

It might be too late to develop NaruHina and SasuSaku, if this story is truly heading down its final act. The last portions of development will be during the intermission between the War Arc and the Final battle arc, and I see them being mostly NaruSaku centric [bench scene...CPR scene...etc]

It might be too late to develop NaruHina and SasuSaku, if this story is truly heading down its final act. The last portions of development will be during the intermission between the War Arc and the Final battle arc, and I see them being mostly NaruSaku centric [bench scene...CPR scene...etc]

Having said this, I think the manga will extend atleast uptil the start of 2015 because many many things are left unfinished and since Kishi cannot finish it hurridly he'll have to extend it. I hope he does, I want Naruto to last a bit longer

they said that same thing when Uzumaki Mito was shown for the first time in her young age during the kurama's flashback. In that occasion, she had her eyes open and they were pupiless. Of course, they immediately considered it as a NH hint LOL

I mean just because Kishi isn't returning for the jump fiesta or whatever it's called, maybe he just has other kitten going on. I'm sure other mangakas didn't return to it at some point. This reminds me during the whole tsunami that hit japan and everyone on the internet worried that Kishi died.

One thing I'm wondering is how this all plays out in the end, I mean given the recent chapter throwing not only more parallels at us aside from the origin and statements from hagimaro himself, its well I guess in the line of things some people have been trying to throw Kagyua into the mix in relation to the the pairings somehow.

 

For one thing, it makes sense where kishi is going with what the sage is saying to naruto and how sasuke will get the rinnegan. Hey when they get up to face madara, naruto will get this new power and sasuke having the rinnegan makes sense by all means (i mean think about it, if naruto has all the tailed beast chakra to extract the stuff, to avoid another kurama yoink, sasuke needs something, what better way to face a rinnegan than with another rinnegan?) Naruto has the body, Sasuke has the eyes. They fight madara the false sage, then each other, naruto wins, the stuff the sage envisioned long ago comes to be and finally ends the cycle of violence in the naruto universe.

 

But some people have been relating Kagyua to Sakura and Hinata (no suprise here)

 

Its just, in the scale of things, I don't see Kagyua like anyone, really just more like Kushina if anything for the whole scary mom joke which has been a reoccuring humor device in the series.

 

But lets look at Hinata and Sakura in this case:

 

People are saying its Hinata just due to her eyes, thats not enough. As far as things go, Hinata is in no way related. Even though the old theory of the byakugan being related to the sharigan is still out there, its never been mentioned and only proven that the sharigan and rinnegan share a link, not the byakugan. Really if it came in now suddenly that the Byuakugan had some link, it would be just outright stupid at this point, I mean didnt madara need a lot of rare stuff, nearly extinct jutsu and bloodlines to bring his plan together? Even having them related now just for the sake of it would serve no purpose. Seriously, he left the hyuga story alone for so long, why start it up suddenly now? I mean the sage having a brother was a sudden reveal, but that will be expanded on, many suspect this brother was the forerunner of the uzumaki clan. But hey there are 2 viable theories for this uzumaki-senju connection, either the brother had a different set of abilites from hagimaro like Ashura and Inurha, or the old theory of the senju line just changing over the centuries with one group losing the wood style in favor of the extra stamina and sealing properties. But the hyuya, while many are still going on and on with it, theres no point in it at this time, I mean if the hyuga were not important to the overall story, inserting them now is not going to do anything. I mean, we don't even know what color Kaguya's eyes are, Ino has full blue eyes and no drawn in pupils now does she? Maybe they are just glowing eyes, but its just a huge paradox for the byakugan to have somehow originated before the rinnegan, people just didnt stop and think this one through. I mean yes Kaguya was the first person to wield chakra, but Hagimaro was the first human born with chakra in his body, essentially being born with it was more impactful than eating the fruit. Hell, Hagimaro wasn't even born with the rinnegan, he most likely got it from when him and his brother sealed the ten tails into him.

 

As for Sakura, I think Sakura made enough of a link in earning the byakugo seal, I mean the sole fact that this seal was used by Tsunade, who herself is related to Hashirama and Mito (who herself may have had the seal too) could be enough of a way for her to more or less represent the presence of the senju, I mean she isn't a senju, but given the three most powerful clans in the series are uchiha, uzumaki, and senju, well while yamato is a psudeo-senju and tsunade is half senju, Sakura may be carrying that power in spirit, otherwise if its uzumaki derived (from mito, I mean it is a seal, if it originated in the uzumaki clan then more power to her getting with naruto I say hehe). I don't see Sakura having the seal as a means though of just linking her to Kagyua or Hagomaro, given they had their own forehead seals.

 

In all practices, Naruto and Sasuke are the only ones who should be related to the 1000 year ago characters. Madara is more or less the anti sage, but eh we can see. I just don't want to jump any guns with stuff I mean it makes sense to do something like link sakura to tsunade, kushina, rin, and mito (given the seal and naruto being like hashirama) but for Sakura to Kaguya, eh it just seems odd. I mean even then, given Hashirama and Minato both had a wife with features Sakura herself has something in common with both of, I think kishi has already made enough connections and speculations for anything parallel related in terms of what pairing he wants to hint.

 

This is just me but I wouldn't connect anyone to Hagomaro, his brother, or Kaguya until we actually see more about them. Maybe the closest we can get is that Madara is the evil version of Hagomaro? Aside from Ashura and Indra, they were paralleled to Naruto and Sasuke long ago so its nothing new, rather this chapter just made things offical basically. I mean if the sage sees naruto like Ashura, then Naruto is the successor, not like Hagomaro though. But at this point, even for NS, do we really really need another female to connect her with? I mean dont you think we have enough with Tsunade, Rin, Kushina, and Mito?
