Just got caught up on One Piece I am really impressed with the Wano arc so far. Probably the best in the New World.

 

Also, if you get a chance to see Stampede it's well worth it. Better than Z or Strong World in my opinion.

So taking a huge break from the manga after Reverie, and coming back in reading the Wano Country Arc from chapter 909 to 999 was quite a treat. There's definitely that could be discussed, but I'll save my thoughts on this arc thus far in a video.

Yeah, this thread used to be a lot more active when FoolishYoungling was still around. Hope he's doing alright.

Christ they went all out for this week's episode (1015.)

 

Also, looks by the manga the battle with Kaido is wrapping up. Orochi is on fire with one head (which probably means its his last life,) Luffy about to do a big attack, and Momo had a flashback of his mother while struggling to produce those clouds.

 

The Wano arc may actually be done this year and move onto the final arc.

 

Lets see. Carrot seems to have faded from this arc so I don't see her joining. Yamato at least stated her desire to join the straw hats to see the world and likely do what oden did and write the ship's logs if no one doing it. The only real ship-role they haven't filled yet is quartermaster...which she could fill if Kaido wanted her to be Shogun because she would be a good administrator; instead of just because she is his "son." Seeing as she read Oden's logbook she likely knows where the final Road Poneglyph is located. Of course it is likely on Elbaf. She would also be the tenth crew member not counting Luffy. Making them even with Blackbeard and his Ten Titanic Captains. Who they will likely have to face off against next. As well as the Marines due to Luffy awakening and becoming Joy Boy.

I don't see another member being added after this if it is Yamato. Unless Robin gets captured and the final member is a Giant from Elbaf...with some form of shrinking power to fit on the ship and be the counter to Wolf.

The lookout post is Zoro's training room. The feeling I'm getting is that Carrot just wanted to travel with Pedro dead she may be compelled to take over his old role.

 

Also Carrot just wanted to go on an adventure she doesn't have a dream that requires she stay with the Straw Hats. Yamato wants to go on a journey, see the world, write a logbook of her journey, fulfill Oden's dreams, and she wants to do it with the Straw Hats.
