Thats true, but Sakura no longer wants him to pursue Sasuke and has such, removed her part of that promise. Naruto on the other hand wanted to continue for himself until seeing Sasuke for who he really is. In reality Sakura was putting Naruto first, trying to protect him from Akatsuki. So I believe that she's trying to make him happy for all the time's he's been by her side.

huff after watching Avatar episode this morning, I've been imagining on how Naruto tries to be close to Sakura, like saying "look Sakura-chan, doesn't that clouds looks like a flower?" or seeing Sakura's shining like every boy seeing his crush shining in almost movie I watched, you can take an example on how Buzz saw Jessie when he was in Spanish mode (Toy Story 3) then Naruto would be so funny with his blushing 
then I said to myself "don't those so good???" but then "you know you have to wait a hundred years for that to be real, unless you make those on your own"
then "okay, I won't wait for those, I'll have my imagination"

she only wants to protect him after chiyo tells her the tale of the biju and like garra naruto will die when the fox is taken out she all so explains that all of them where treated as war toys and nothing else
