I just want to put in my thoughts on the Sun and Moon anime. 

 

I absolutely adore it, which I suppose is not a popular stance. After getting used to the art style, I find the light hearted-ness and the fact they are adding more humor, a breath of fresh air to me! 

 

I love all the characters so far. Lillie (maybe I'm bias because of the Sun and Moon games), is one of my favorites, along with Mallow. However, they are all so interesting and different. Their character dynamics are very great to me. 

 

I like that Ash didn't revert back, too, in a sense. He's still serious where it counts, that being battling. But so far, the story line is very interesting! I am hoping that Lillie's family (for those who played the Sun and Moon games), is incorporated. This will be interesting and something I would love to see! 

 

It's different, and I really like that!

Same! That's why I loved episode 8! We got more background on Lillie! And she said Gladion lives away from them so what happens in the game can still be incorporated in the anime (fingers crossed). I hope they keep him the way he is in the game. They already introduced Team Skull in the anime so hopefully that part of the story is included!

Yeah, it makes me sad when I see so many people dislike the new series, when I am loving it so much! And I actually love all the pokegirls (May was my favorite in the past, Dawn and Serena being a close second), but I'm finding all the girls in Sun and Moon really awesome so far! They are all amazing.

I personally don't hate the anime honestly. I am just tired of the reset button and releasing of Ash's best Pokemon because he needs to be "handicapped". I really liked episode 8. It was the most interesting to me

Same, but even the author and fans that could not be expose for the children XD. At least is official and for now the ships with Ash ending with him  in my opinion until are like this:

Okay I am so excited to see the following new episodes of Sun and Moon! It looks like things are picking up!

Also, oh man, people said this series is only light hearted fun, and it is for the most part, but the previous episodes with litten... man, that was so sad.

I am actually really enjoying the new anime so far!

They basically were in the original, Ash battled and lost to Brock, so Brock's dad helped out Ash to beat Brock. Ash battled Misty because her sisters (she had 3 sisters) just gave the badges out without a fight, so she decided to fight Ash as the gym leader. I wanted my trio back and that's it but since its not happening, I'm not watching it because I know I'll be even more petty about it lol

Ash didn't have pokemons before Pikachu. So, definitely not before he knew Misty and Brock. He knew Pikachu in episode 1 and Misty in episode 2.

 

Brick ? Then it seems an alternative story XD

Why not? I won't mind a few scene and outfit changes but they decided to change them so they could promote the games and felt like they played us, the first season was good for a reason so it was exciting to see everything with better animation. It's fine, I'm not gonna watch it because I wanted my trio back and see Gary too but its not happening, I don't wanna see random kids taking the role of two characters who were a huge part in Ash's life of becoming a trainer plus the new girl's hair doesn't pleases me lol
