#894678 Kishi Made Us Hate Sakura? What do you think

Posted by Bail o' Lies on 24 December 2015 - 01:04 PM

They sell more than 500k is already a success.
They could sell until 1 million will give it greenlight to continue the story even expand it.
If they sell only 200k, then it's a flop.

As long as those Japanese but it, naruto will still exist.

While I agree that there's people who left this manga, there's still many who follow it. 900k is big.

....*siiiiigh* rocci you are not getting what the problem is with those numbers. Remember Naruto was SJ and SP big international seller for years. While those numbers are good for any regular manga. Naruto is not any regular manga. And the expectation the companies have put on this sequel are not the same as any regular manga. It is again SP and SJ big international money maker they want huge profits not "decent." While 900 k would be good for any regular manga is it not good enough for what those companies want.

But lets look at first week volume numbers:

Volume 71 sold 1.1 million so this was the number of fans kishi was able to keep buying the volumes by the end of the series. Of course these are the Japanese volumes and what they really want are the international sells. But what we saw for the last I wouldn't hold my breath if i were them.

Volume 72 sold about 900k so he lost 200k consumers (at the very least). Which you apparently think is a good thing? Also this was at the very early stage of the Year of the decline of Naruto. From what I understand people have been increasingly sick of Naruto the longer they tried keeping it in the public eye. Also this was the final volume this Naruto should see some of it biggest sales in years. Instead it couldn't beat a volume about the fight with kaguya. Which most people complained about.

The gaiden's volume sold 600k. So they lost another 300k which again you say is a good thing. Now this one is the one we should use as the base for the sequel instead of Volume 72. Since this one is about the next gen and introduces us to one of the characters.

So really this sequel starts off with about 600k fans (assuming more haven't left since the gaiden) in Japan. Now for any regular manga that is a tolerable number. And again this isn't any random manga. This is SP, and one SJ biggest sellers they want millions not mere thousands. Now let ignore the Bolt movie since it really got a large part of it money from SNS baiting. 600k people are still loyal, and interest enough to still buy the manga in Japan. What is the first thing the pedophile does? In fact the very thing to show us the he is taking the reins of the sequel. That poster. All it has done as far as i heard is pissed off the SS fan base. Which is one of the largest fanbases let that still support the ending. That. Is Not. A good thing.

I believe this: Boruto won't sell that great due to the names. It's only matter of how much prestige the title "supervisor" has over people.

What i really hopes happen is that readers get a very clear impression that the supervisor isn't really supervising and is too busy with his own manga. Since the reason he was given the role of supervising the sequel was to assure fans that he still keeping an eye on the series. If it clearly not the case maybe they'll become increasingly disinterested with the sequel over time.

The assistant making this is a pretty big creep.  He was probably wanking on Hinata when she was 12 and now he's putting Salad in a mini-skirt...when she's only a child. 12/13. Not to mention, if this is a thing, that means there's a conflict in the story. Naruto failed. He didn't get the woman of his dreams, he's unhappy and there's no peace in the ninja world. Good to know that whole story we loved was ruined because of Hinaturd and money.

I always bring up the hinata waterfall scene for this because. Why would anyone draw a nude girl so detailed and then frame it in shadow so they could show it on TV? Instead of you know. NOT DOING THAT! But the first part of the series and the filler arc is where hinata get a lot of her devoted fans. Which also mean that the male part of her fan base fell in love/became obsessed with her when she was 12 years old. And since that the part of the series everyone think of when they think of Naruto...yeah.

Also you are complete right about this meaning Naruto failed. Even In both the gaiden and the bolt moive you could still imply that Naruto succeed with some minor hic ups. Shin was a madman who hated peace and wanted to reignite war and conflict because he thinks peace leads to stagnation (and least that was his motive rants were about). And who ever those guys from the bolt movie are called were different dimensional being Not from the ninja world.

Unless this guy keeps going with the different dimension being's thing, which most people are already sick of after three villain were already based off that. (Kaguya, Toneri, ..those two from the bolt movie). Then they are going to have to have people from the ninja world. Which is showing that Naruto's generation failed.

I know it's a...thing for 12/13 years old fan service, but I don't like the fact that it wasn't her first combat outfit/, so it's blatantly switch to fan service happy. Only one to change, why? Well, you know already.

It's why the reaction to this outfit is so wide spreadingly negative. If she was originally like this when kishi drew her people would complain but shrug their shoulders and say "what can you do." But this is blatantly because they changed artist and to suit that guy own personal taste. Instead of just being the design of the character use to give the audience an impression of her character from a glance.

Are the youtubers awaking?

...Most likely. Remember Naruto was in a decline in popularity for years. The only thing that kept it going was the loyalty of the fans. They stuck around because they wanted to see the conclusion of the story. But now the ending crap and they only thing that keeping it afloat is nostalgia (and pairing obsessions). Now it looks like there is no end in sight for Bolt and all these spin offs.  Now some people will swallow anything. But others with kishi gone. They're going to lose any interest soon. Especially if these new guys kitten up.

Wait this was done in February.

#894160 Kishi Made Us Hate Sakura? What do you think

Posted by Bail o' Lies on 22 December 2015 - 02:04 AM

And it was no secret that the assistant suggested to Kishi that Hinata is more like a heroine than Sakura and his hate on Sakura on twitter. Either Kishi was brainwashed or he sold himself to the devil because he stop caring for this series long ago and just wanted out, which means he was deliberately taking the full brunt of the backlash away from his assistant with his contradicting interviews.

I'm going with the idea of the pedophile and the editors working together and showing kishi those nH reviews, and constantly suggesting Hinata focused ideas. This drained kishi over the five years and he wanted out after the war arc by Sp and SJ wanted it to continue. The pedophile stepped up and offered to do the sequel if the pairing was nH. Probably sold kishi on that he had a lot of ideas for that story. And we know the rest.

As for kishi have to take the backlash for it throughout the entire year. They had to make it seem like it was kishi's decision and choice to do the ending as it was. If it was found out that it happened because the pedophile was going to do the sequel and the only way he would do it was if the ending was nH. It would have destoried the spin off before it was even announced.

At least initially, Sakura was growing out of her unhealthy crush. Hinata only further immersed herself in hers, not even trying to look at anyone else. She's clearly the type who would probably kill herself if Naruto rejected her because she made her entire life solely about him.

We can actually blame it on this guy. Since kishi was still going for that like but we can easily see where the pedophile screwed him over. The panel where hinata was like "I'm going to stop chasing after you naruto" signifying that she was going to stop trying to pursue a romantic relationship. Then she goes on and on about doing thing like holding hands.

@konohacrimson
The assistant maybe the biggest nh fan, but the ending and pairing decision is still in the hand of kishi.

Kishi failed her.

@bryon
That's because Hinata is more likable than sakura and her character rarely appear make her rather small flaw.

Sakura character need development, since kishi make her dislike-able from the start of manga.

Kishi wanted out. Companies didn't want Naruto to end. Pedophile step in but wanted nH.

If they back to ns then how you think this would happen ?

I really don't see something like a divorce happening

Everything is about profit. Honestly if Bolt flops hard enough because the clown and the pedophile can't cut it. But the Itachi series and the other stuff still sell well enough. Then since Naruto is now a franchise. They would/may re-examine why those thing are working and why the new generation are failing. Once they find the answer is the paring and the creative team behind the manga. They'll get rid of them like dirty old rags and replace them with someone else. If that someone is able to convince them that they should go back to part two ending and go for ns sk ending instead. Then the companies behind Naruto would/may allow it. Especially if they got kishi to state his approval of the idea.

They are keeping with it since they fear of losing what left of the fan base, but if they are convince they're is more money made in dropping nH and going ns then they will/may.

@Tricksie if you want kishimoto to do what you want (an NS ending years down the line), you should write him a letter or something about you're feeling of the series. Not to guilt him into it but to show how much you care about the series.

Posted by Bail o' Lies on 21 December 2015 - 09:51 AM

You know what everyone? I'm actually kind of glad this manga is happening because now I know why the ending happened the way it did. It no longer a question that hangs over my head. Where i go 'what were the reasons it happened?' I now know and now i no longer care. Ah it so relaxing. I don't care about Itachi's stupid anime. I don't care about the stupid filler. I don't even care about this stupid manga other than the artist is now to me known as 'that pedophile.' It not me throwing my hand up in the air and saying "i don't care anymore this kitten is stupid and crap." It a realization, a discovery, and then finally a release because of an understanding i have been searching for and have finally obtained. *relaxed sigh*

#893991 Kishi Made Us Hate Sakura? What do you think

Posted by Bail o' Lies on 21 December 2015 - 09:20 AM

It's confirmed with this new Boruto manga that Kishi never made us hate Sakura. It was that sexist pig assistant of his that ruined this franchise when he first came onto Kishi's staff at 2010. He manipulated Kishi

2010? That was the start of the war arc at the very least. let me check... Wow 2010 was the end of the Kage meeting arc when Sasuke was fighting Danzo and continued to the start of the war arc. So yes this guy depending what he was doing. He could have had a large effect on kishi. Especially since this was around the time people were complaining about Sakura's "false confession."

#893926 New Boruto Manga?

Posted by Bail o' Lies on 21 December 2015 - 01:00 AM

So other people are also thinking this guy was the reason for the ending being nH as well.

Exactly. Kishi doing the Naruto Gaiden is a smokescreen to hide the true masterminds behind the ending. All Kishi has been doing was protecting his assistants by making a fool out of himself for over a year with his stupid contradicting interviews.

I think the original intention was a "passing of the tourch" scenario as well as allowing kishi to set up part three. The ending, the gaiden, and that movie were basically kishi being allowed to make the new cast and conflicts for these two clowns to spend years not writing properly.

Also the other reason was basically that smokescreen and protecting this new series before it was announced at jump festa this week. Let's face if last year at Jump festa kishi had come out and said after the ending he won't be writing Naruto anymore and that it will now be done by these to clowns. Do you think anyone would have given a kitten about the gaiden or the Bolt movie? It was only the fact that they were written by him that most people gave it any notice. Not only that but the reason for the ending being as it was would have been made instantly clear. For the past year people have been trying to figure out why he made the ending the way it was, and most have settled on sold out or lost his passion and gave into executive pressure. But if they came out that one kishi's assistance was going to be drawing the next series and he will only be "supervising," and that guy is well known in the fan base for being a hinata obsessed sakura bashing otaku. Then everyone would have caught on to what was happening and even the pro-enders would had a hard time explaining it.

Right now they can defend this with: "The salty anti-enders constantly attacking, and harassing kishi made him loss his passion for the series, but he didn't want to disappoint the fans who love the series (their insert fantasy) so much. So he passed it on to his assistant who truly understands what he wants part three to be." But if happened back then their would have been no excuse since it would be basically kishi instantly leaving after the ending and just throwing the now mess of a series he is glad to be done with to a guy well known to be a hinata obsessed otaku.

#893749 New Boruto Manga?

Posted by Bail o' Lies on 20 December 2015 - 05:09 AM

A post i wrote just before reading this one: http://www.narusaku....ndpost&p=893748

"The countdown website for the "Next Generation" of the Naruto franchise ended on Saturday to announce a new manga in the franchise. Mikio Ikemoto, who worked as an assistant under original manga creator Masashi Kishimoto on Naruto, is drawing the new manga. Kishimoto will supervise the manga, and Ukyō Kodachi (Naruto - Gaara Hiden: Sajingensō novel, Boruto -Naruto the Movie- screenplay cooperation.) will write the manga's script. The new manga will focus on Boruto."

So kishi has left the series and handed the reigns over to one of his assistance. Do we know anything about this person? I just going to assume that one they're a he and two either they are the most talented of kishi's assistance at the time when the manga ended, or he was one of the assistance that was fully supportive of the ending. Either way this guy is now the face of a manga that already has a sour reputation before it even started.

Oh Wait! He's just the artist and the "Writer" of the manga will be Kodachi. Who wrote the story of Gaara falling in love with two big breasted woman that look like his uncle, and also had a coup against him at 20(?). Despite the fact that when he was 15 he was already a well respected and beloved by all leader of the village, despite being a psychopath only 2-3 years before. Also he help writer the bolt movie it seems whatever "screenplay cooperation" means.

Kishimoto will be supervising this manga, while he writing his own manga and trying to become closer to his family. I assume it be the same level of supervision that The Last has either a red line through part he didn't like or thumbs up if he likes it or just shrugs and let it happen."

OK so I was right that is is the assistant that was in full support of the ending. And he is apparently well known as being a sexist nH obsessed Sakura bashing jackass. Wait. Was he the one that pissed everyone off last years on twitter?

I just realized something...I think this guy is the reason why nH happened. Do you all remember the rumor that one of his assistance was the one that wrote the last chapter. What if it wasn't 'written by' but 'written for?' Think about it? Naruto was at that time their big international seller that only maybe yu-gi-oh, dragonball, and pokemon could compare. Now why would company want that money maker to end when their was nothing that could make up the losses around? Which is why kishi had to extend the series for 5 years with the war arc cause nothing was comparing to it internationally. Now what if a let say an assistant was entirely willing to continue the series (now most would probably after working with a mangaka for year would want to create their own story with their own original idea and character) for however long the company wanted it to continue but his only request was that the end pairing be nH?

Remember last year at jump festa Kishi said the ending was for personal reason what if that was the personal reason? He wanted to leave the series so he could spend more time with his family as well as write another story. But the company wouldn't let him because they would loss too much money if Naruto ended. But what if an assistance was willing to take up the series all he ask is the ending by nH. (i know i'm repeating my self but this is stream of thought going on) This explain the entire ending and why no one working with him seem to really know why he ended it the way he did.

As for that picture. Let face no matter what the one thing you could respect Kishimoto for was that he really didn't do gratuitous fans service such as panty shots.(in not saying he never did fan service just that it wasn't as gratuitous as the panty shots) Kishi had all his girls wear pants so no panty shot, and girls with big breast well tsunade was a butt of a few jokes because of them. This new guy salad outfit looks like Sakura part two outfit without that pants or skirt, and a big belt around the waist. In fact she looks like she just wearing a shirt with no pants so you all know what that means...Panty~~~Shots~~~!

#893342 Naruto Shippuden episode 442

Posted by Bail o' Lies on 18 December 2015 - 04:47 AM

i assume that hyuga obito was from jiraiya's dream novel, and this now is tsunade's dream... which is funny because she is nowhere to be seen  :lmao: why in the world would she dream about angsty sasuke when she love nawaki more

I can't remember who but I remember some members have read the jiraiya's book I think ladygt and a few others made a summaries of the book. From what I recall this is not that novel. Unless this is the newer one release this year I've heard no one talk about. This is not based on jiraiya's novel this is just an excuse for a what if of "if Minato was alive in story of part 1"

this is still in jiraiya's story last episode we see she finds that the story has a part 2. it was neji's father with obito's mask. tsunade is training sakura in the story. i don't know why jiraiya would write this but it's not very different from what already happened like you will notice. jiraiya likes writing angsty sasuke in her dream i assume

I don't think this is one of Jiraiya's novels (people correct me if I'm wrong). This is just a what if of Minato's alive, but since no one that is trapped would be dreaming about this. They made it Tsunade dreaming about a novels that Jiraiya "wrote" as an excuse for it.

I think this is the 5th or 6th time they redid the episode that showed the rivalry between Naruto and Sasuke. Each time told differently. The same bloody episode.

I wonder by the end of the anime how many times they are going to redo it?

I haven't watch the anime in years and i still wouldn't be surprise if they redid this a dozen times. A far as i recall the team that makes the Naruto anime can be split into two groups: the ones that create their own filler that help expand the story (such as that asuma filler,or the three and six tail filler, or jiraiya's past or that filler that was suppose to be a movie), and the ones that don't have a creative bone in their body and only know how to cut and paste scene from the manga and put it into their filler (the ones who did the last and this arc for example).

Fanfiction writers can write better than this.

This plot is...honestly I think you could find a thousand different versions of this story on fanfiction net alone. Which just goes to show how badly this group is running out of ideas. The last could be consider a rip off of fanfiction of nH love stories and themes but this is a blatant rip off of a common fanfiction idea.

#893261 Naruto Shippuden episode 442

Posted by Bail o' Lies on 17 December 2015 - 11:23 PM

...who's dream is this? Tsunade??

I saw the minato kushina scene and it was cute.. but this ep is just like a simple rehash of the original, with bonus charas lol

It's Tsunade's dream world... in theory. Once again i must ask why did Tsunade dream this? And if this is Jiraiya's book why would he write this story? The tale of Naruto which in-theory the story Tsunade is reading was based on his own life. Orochimaru was an orphan he had no family.

So what this really is it's a "what would the first part of Naruto be like (this episode being the start of the rescue Sasuke arc) if Minato never died?" and they are just using Tsunade as a excuse. Wait...My. God! This! IS! FANFICTION!!!

#893155 The Next Generation

2 days until mayhem. If Kishi is attending the Festa, expect more BS and more he puts his foot in his mouth. I would not be surprise that say something, like admitting  that his wife helped him developed NS, but his colleagues and fans made him have a change of heart.

That would at least be as honest and closest  to the truth he been for at least the past few months. Also his first editor helped him and he started to base Sakura and Kushina off his wife.

#893049 The Next Generation

Posted by Bail o' Lies on 16 December 2015 - 01:45 AM

This whole countdown thing is going to be an announcement for a new animated series. Kishi is letting his story go down the DBGT Route :/ and it makes sense. Toriyama never wanted DBZ to happen let alone GT, but it made money, and fans wanted more, but Toriyama was flat out DONE, so he gave Z a half ass ending and handed over his story to Bandai. The rest is filler history.

If this is indeed true then it explains why the Naruto anime is still in filler hell. They're going to stretch that kitten out so that it ends right before the new series is set to start. The anime only had like, what was it, like 8 Canon episodes in 2015, I mean really!? It's unfreaking believable.

Originally he wanted to ended it after the first arc once they had collected the dragonball, defeated the emperor, and saw the dragon (and bulma and yamacha both got their wish) but his editor convince him to extend the series. That is the true story of dragonball. Toriyama finding a point in the story where he feels the story is concluded and should end. Then his editors tell him to extend the series.

Still I don't understand in Saint Seiya in the past the put the big filler of Asgard and the Japanese were sick of it and almost Saint Seiya was cancel , but good  thing that outside of Japan was one of the best Arcs of this series. Now  in Naruto they almost a year of fillers and no threats of canceling please.

It SP's meal ticket and has been for years. They don't have currently an anime that could turn long running like Bleach or Naruto that they could milk for years in the future. If they did they could have ended Naruto this year if they wanted to. But they can't cause they really don't have anything to replace Naruto with as their money maker. While it is true they have lost a lot of fans overtime especially this past year. Sadly Naruto still has enough fans to keep them barely afloat. It not a successful money maker as it once was but it enough to keep the company afloat. So their not cancelling it until they can find something else to milk off. Once they do Naruto is gone.
