@Atheck - As I said in my last post, it's certainly the best option. Just a query though - is that orb still attached to Minato's body or did it detach so it could position itself in the middle of the group (maximum coverage)? Can't quite tell.
The sphere seems to have positioned itself closer to the centre of the group. The depth perception is confusing, but if Minato's group isn't having to crane their necks to acquire a view of the object, particularly Gamakichi, then it probably isn't distanced too far from its original placing position. It has yet to explode. Minato still has time, albeit it's very little, to create the minimum amount of contact with it and have it returned to the jinchuuriki.
I should point out that when I said the orb positioned 'itself' I meant in the sense that Obito might have control over it, rather than it being 'sentient'.
It appeared to be hovering in the air rather than being directly controlled by Tobi. Similar to how the Rasenshuriken expands and disintegrates anyone in the immediate vicinity before finally erupting. A phase in the technique's procedure. Whether it can be remotely controlled or not is a feat that has yet to be seen.
