lmao, that post on narutobase made my day. It shows how people can be idiot somtime when they're talking nonsense....
that's not a message of break from WSJ but a little preview text from editor and it says "What will Naruto&Co (against) Obito that is making a display of his overwhelming power to them...!?"

Im not sure if this has been brought up anywhere or not, but does it seem like Obito is almost a "twisted" or "Evil" version of the sage? Being that his entire purpose is driven by revenge at this point. The only way I see him getting knocked down is if A) He can redeem himself in some matter (I find this to be unlikely, I don't think he wants to be reasoned with at this point) or B) Whatever the Juubi saw in Naruto (The sage himself?) needs to actually come out. Lets face it, with out a power up neither Naruto, Saskue or Minato are going to beat this guy. Even with the help with the other Kage this is still going to be a pain. (No pun intended)

Perhaps in the next month or September? It's customary for an intermission to happen during these months.
On a different note, couldn't Minato teleport next to Tobi and use himself as a kamikaze? The seal he implanted should remain viable as a jump point. Even if no damage was inflicted, having the explosion occur on top of the enemy rather than your allies would be the more desirable option, yes? Minato diverts a potentially hazardous explosion from causing further damages to the Alliance's greatest hopes for victory and the jinchuuriki of the Jubi is forced to endure the brunt of his own attack. The only downside to this strategy is Minato being removed from the fight so he can regenerate.

This Chapter was garbage, I'm sorry I know I'm probably alone in this but I'm really getting sick of this DragonBall Z-esque bs where just as the heroes look like they've got an advantage the Villain pulls another powerup out of nowhere. I know Kishimoto has said he plans to end Naruto in 2014 but this is starting to feel like nothing but padding.

Naruto needs Kurama's Yin chakra to complete his seal transformation and power up. Minato will likely seal the Yin he currently has within Naruto to complete the transformation/power up and give Naruto hirashin as well before passing on.
I wish i could know what's the real power of the kyuubi if half of it's chakra he's already stronger than the other bijuus together, then imagine if he has 100% if it's supposed to be, i think the kyuubi would have already regenered it's half because if one single bit of chakra is enough to form the juubi than it's because it's chakra can regenerate, this whole bijuu thing is confusing as hell.

A little off topic but I could n't but wonder could Yamato be Madara's body? not sure if this has been asked before .

I totally agree with this, the whole chakra thing makes zero sense, I used to see it as energy and for a while the patern followed but recently it seems it appears everywhere quite randomly

Then he uses one of the kunai that he arrayed beside Tobi on page 12, seals which he relied on for a momentary grapple of metals with the jinchuuriki that haven't been destroyed, to relocate the area of impact of the spherical explosive jutsu. Minato has planned accordingly to the specifications necessary for this maneuver to be carried out. He doesn't have a wide array of tactical options to choose from in the current situation anyways. The only means that could have effectively saved them without any sacrifices (chakra excluded) being necessary, Kamui, is trapped in the pocket dimension for the time being.

As I said in my last post, it's certainly the best option. Just a query though - is that orb still attached to Minato's body or did it detach so it could position itself in the middle of the group (maximum coverage)? Can't quite tell.
I should point out that when I said the orb positioned 'itself' I meant in the sense that Obito might have control over it, rather than it being 'sentient'.

Well I mean as a kid he really loved her but that relationship never got to development and all he asked of Kakashi was to keep her safe but she ends up dying, and he didn't have any normal person to talk to about this, he had Madara and Zestu lol

To be honest, it's justified, at least in my opinion. Looking back at the flashback, they were really good friends. I mean look at 599, she really supports him all the way. It's just the question of if she loves him. Well, we know she loves Kakashi but what about Obito. What if it's the same as our heroes? Obito would never know because he died too soon. When he returns, he lost an chance to get answers. What's worse is that Rin died thinking Obito is still dead. I don't know but this is a tragic history for Obito. He's really close on seeing Rin again, only to be stopped by Naruto and others. So it's the battle of will.hmm... is it just me orrrrr.... is Obito's obsession towards Rin .. down right creepy.

I am a bit confused, I have to confess.
So Naruto and Sasuke were confirmed to be like the Younger son and the Older one.. and that they'll battle like that. BUT! In the same time, Naruto as Rikudo Sennin...And one would have thought that Sasuke would become its opposite, the ten tails jinchuuriki. Now, the thing is, Obito is the ten tail's Jinchuuriki... So what about this now if Sasuke won't come? What did Obito needed Sasuke for? Just a lil'bit of confusion from so much foreshadowing.
