Yup outside of The Kakashi Anbu Filler Arc,  it's the only Naruto anime-related thing I still have cause it's just that damn good.

Well that's good that you did. I however threw the dvd that I had of it out and any other Naruto related merchandise because chapter 700 and all post chapter 700 content made everything that that I loved about the series turn into a nuclear meltdown. Sakura bashers turned out to be right about her just using Naruto to get her "kinky bastard boyfriend" back and "Naruto's love" for Sakura throughout the series ended up being worth as much as you can throw a 5 tonnes stone ball. Not to mention in the very chapter that ends Naruto's era shows that Naruto Nardo is a "hypocrite" of a father and complete failiure as "ninja jesus" so what was the point of anything anymore?
 
We all hated the pairings and exploded at the couples conclusion because it definitely wasn't the writing we were staying for at this point. The story just became a plague of hypocrisy and lies that I admit that I would have dropped Naruto itself a long time ago if it wasn't for just wanting to see if Naruto gets together with his love. And no matter what Anti NaruSaku debaters say, Naruto and Sakura's relationship is NOT platonic, because they both did things in the manga and other source materials that go beyond friendship. I would would LOVE to see anyone in an actual real life relationship or has fundamental understanding of fictional romance writing tell ME WITH A STRAIGHT FACE that that is how only friends behave around one another. Naruto made a promise to Sakura so emotionally draining and detrimental to his well being that when Sakura finds out, she is devastated and and does a completely irrational, self harming move to try kill Sasuke herself.
 
And anyone that wants to get behind the whole Sakura's confession is "false and a lie" argument, I again need to again bring up this counter argument, "what is the point of Sakura even confessing to Naruto then?" She had nothing to gain from it. And No, it was not to get Naruto to come back to the village, because Naruto is not some horn-dog that only listens to Sakura if she "jiggles her assets" to him and gives him "kissy faces", nor HAS SHE EVER even now. On that note, I WOULD REALLY like to meet a person in real life, or any other fictional character that would FAKE their love for someone else if there was no benefit or favor in return for them unless they are masterfully acting. But I never knew Sakura to ever FAKE what she feels unless it is impressing and being a fan girl to Sasuke. Plus I would think that if she felt like Naruto was only a friend still at that point, she would just apologize and tell him that he doesn't have to worry about that "silly promise" anymore. She wouldn't even bother confessing to him. Wouldn't anyone here write it that way if THAT WAS THE INTENT?" Exactly.
 
So my point is, Ultimately, Naruto and Sakura relationship was a special and realistic type of romance and YES it was a romantic relationship. Anyone that thinks otherwise is delusional and in denial. We wanted to see that relationship blossom and bloom into a wonderfully sweet and funny and the same time type of marriage but we didn't even get that. So "F#&%" all of this and everything that comes after it I say. I've wasted enough time and money on this mound of garbage.

I agree I mean it's the same when people go on and on that Naruto and Sasuke are best friends, but they never once hang out together or talked the way good friends do I mean I will always say that Naruto and Sasuke were never friends, as Kishi hamfisted all that bs in part two, as any flashbacks Naruto has of Sasuke are all in part two.

You know it's sad when power Rangers got this right multiple times like Jason and Tommy, Leo and Kai, Wes and Eric are the best example, maybe Shane and Hunter, Jack and sky are on par with Wes and Eric, Casey and Jarrod are Naruto and Sasuke done right, Scott and dillon all better friends then Naruto and Sasuke,
  

I agree I know some shows and games change things up from the past I know MGS has done this a few times like with the whole two Big Boss, but still, the ending of MGS 4 always makes me cry knowing that while everyone else gets, a happy ending Solid Snake didn't. Plus he knows not to add world peace BS.
 
Both Oda and Toyriama built up the friendship of their characters like Goku and Krillin, the latter of which hated Goku now look at them, and Kishi thought he could copy that only keep Sasuke a kitten. (Because he is so damn cool) yeah give me a kittening break, Kishi can say all the Bs he wants NH and SS fans can say all the BS they want. 
 
I know that Naruto and Sasuke were not even close to being, best Friends and that the end couples are all BS, but you brought a good point up, James. 
 
"Hey, we are both orphan's" and then it is like "Cool, let's be best friends."
 
That is the only reason I think and believe that Naruto, thinks he is so close to Sasuke, is because both he and Sasuke are orphan's, so in Naruto's mind that meant he had a bound to Sasuke as only, in Naruto's head mind you, he thought only Sasuke understood him.
 
it's like a friend of mine said that none of the other Konhao11 mattered because they all had parents so again to Naruto, he was all like "kitten you, none of you know what it's like not to have parents."
 
Which once again shows Naruto was selfish and used people, my friend even said if Sakura's parents were killed Naruto would then care about her because she knows the same pain he knows.

Agreed mgs has a better flowing story and development look at the boss she had so much development in one game , one kittening game then the 700 chapter of the Naruto series. I think you stop being friends with someone once you try to murder them.
  

And funny enough, we got this in Road to Ninja where they both switched places. Sakura was even willing to stay in the dreamworld all because Naruto had parents.

I rewatched it recently and man, savers is amazing in japanese, it made tamers my 2nd fav digimon series now lol

Other rivalries worked out infinitely better than Naruto and Sasuke BECAUSE they are acknowledged as rivals and nothing else until they actually show to start bonding. None of these rivals except Naruto and Sasuke were excused as rivals that also best friends at the start, but because they could not admit their exclusive "BL lust-like" feelings for each other that is why they have a rivalry.

 

Naruto and Sasuke's dynamic fell flat on its stupid face because Kishi was insisted there was some hidden "yaoi thing" going on between them and beneath their deisre to one up the other when you see nothing of the sort and it DOESN'T even make sense to the point even 5 year olds call BS on his reasoning for them being "best boyfriends" but denying it because they have "issues" to deal with and would never admit it to anyone and even to themselves.

Recently came across a reddit topic that was pretty funny.

 

It had an old picture from one of the Naruto OVAs where all characters were lined up, and the text claimed this was the line to sign a petition to save Naruto's legacy by cancelling Boruto.

 

The text went something like this:

Boruto: What's this?
"This is the line to sign the petition to cancel Boruto"

Boruto: I-Is that my dad in the back!?

 

The comments weren't speaking very favorably of Boruto either. One said he dropped Boruto after episode 25, and asked if it was worth getting back into. One responded "Only if you have ABSOLUTELY nothing else to do".

 

Yeah, it seems even pro-enders are getting fed up with arcs that lead to nowhere.

you know what else got it right ironically who had a strong rivalry at the beginning and grew to be friends? masaru/marcus and toma/thomas from digimon savers/data squad. the 2 butted heads like crazy at the start and hated each other and grew to be good friends. I rewatched it recently and man, savers is amazing in japanese, it made tamers my 2nd fav digimon series now lol

Don't forget Tai and Matt, Davis and Ken, and Takuya and Koji from seasons 1,2, 4 all better than naruto and Sasuke

Yeah there was dramatic change in attitude in Sakura regarding Naruto and there was a quite a bit of focus on it even though there was no need to. But it was all a red herring   STUPID US

And we know with Sasuke the jealousy was at the thought of Naruto being praised for being stronger than him, given his inferiority complex and his inability to handle the fact someone was stronger than him. It wasn't about Sakura's expression in the least.

The problem with every NS moment is , it's always happen when the other didn't notice OR there's an interruption. Like the bench scene , Sakura didn't know and the CPR , Naruto is unconscious. The hand feed after Naruto injured his hand , Sai and Kakashi interrupt it. As far as i remember the hug after pain defeated is the only legit that both party know and no interruption , but to be honest as sweet as it looks , i somehow feel like that is more like celebration than a romantic moment. I saw this sign .... danger sign back then when i watch the anime and the manga is still on kage summit arc. I wonder why their moment is always interrupt or one of them didn't notice/know ... it feel ... unfinished , as it seems like the author be like "JUST A LITTLE ... NO MORE" , maybe teasing is a correct word. I know now that's the way the author said "ENOUGH , THAT IS IT FOR NOW" , but why ??
