I figured a good laugh is the best medicine in hard times, so I'd recommend you guys checking out the manga by this author. It's original and funny and mocks shoujo cliches big time!
Oresama Teacher is a shoujo that mocks shoujo lol, about an ex?yankee who tries her best to be a normal schoolgirl.
Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki kun is a shounen parody of a shoujo manga. It's about a high school dude writing for girl's romance manga magazine.
