And the best chapter of this arc so far goes to...

Quick, show him a bunch of Zoro x Tashigi.
No worries there XD
That was powerful. But I doubt Luffy just stands there. Shouldn't a Big Mom commander show up and take him out? Nami crying over Luffy vs Sanji is enough to make any man cry, but not me because I've watched Clannad. In the end, another chapter goes by without Oda showing us any of the moves Sanji got from Ivankov for surviving on the island. PUNCH BACK AND MAKE HIM SHOW US, LUFFY!
I'm wondering if they are just going to get captured, especially with Luffy's declaration of not moving from that spot. He can't put up a fight, maybe Nami's Vivre card is what's going to get them in the castle instead of being killed I'm telling myself that Sanji has been holding back big time. Not only to not seriously hurt Luffy, but also to play off to his family that he's still weak. I'll even be bold enough to say that his fight with his father wasn't' real either. As soon as Sanji is able to fight without holding back kitten is getting real!
Pretty cool how Nami stuck up for Luffy like that. Goes to reinforce that no matter what, Luffy always comes first to her. Love to see that, specifically from her. Was a really good chapter, surprisingly. All the stuff Luffy said was really touching.
I do like Sanji, but hopefully sometime during this arc or at the end of it, Luffy beats his ass (or at least gives him one good conk on the dome). I know he had to sell what he said, but the essence of what he said was over the line. Nami was correct about that. Not to mention that attacking him was also unwarranted. There wasn't any need for it, Sanji could have said his piece and left. Sanji has been saved by, and helped Luffy when he went to save members of his crew in the same way Luffy is attempting to save him now. Sanji had seen the lengths Luffy went to save Ace, and her didn't expect nor respect Luffy's attempt here? It's almost a slap in the face to everything they had done together.
Really good chapter though.
Yes, Nami's role here was beautiful. She just wasn't screaming their names while sobbing during the entire chapter. When she saw that Sanji wasn't stopping she was ready to retaliate so that she could spare Luffy the pain. Her explanation on everything that had happened to them up until then broke my heart. Oh, but let me tell you that sassy remark she gave Sanji when she slapped him was pure freaking GOLD! You know her words ripped out Sanji's heart. That girl just had to add flare to that slap! I agree that Sanji didn't have to go so far, and that's why Nami states that he crossed the line, but doing so makes his departure from the crew look that more convincing to his family. I thought Nami would recognize this but she's pissed, that or she's a really great actress. Either way, this chapter was great! Here I am wanting next week to come tomorrow!!

AND YET, "Someone will not be named, from a series that will not be titled" could not have the gall or resolve to do that.

this was a very emotional chapter.
now i don't give a crap if he was acting, he crossed the line the moment he said luffy isn't good enough to be pk.
the little fight sanji had going on was kinda embarrassing, considering luffy was eating his most powerful attack that we've been shown. the only thing he did was knock out luffy's tooth. just goes to show how durable luffy is, even after facing a commander for ten+ hours.
i love that luffy declared he was going on a hunger strike. and to top it off, he said he won't eat anything unless it comes from sanji's hands.
deep stuff.

Eh, she doesn't ruin things per say. She is just a creator's pet that is given random, badass moments and does down right beyond impossible things..................... for NO REAL REASON whatsoever. And no, I'm not exaggerating. Well at least later on in the series that is

Nami defending Luffy was my favorite part of the chapter. It just speaks to the nature of their relationship. I think that Nami knew what Sanji was doing (addressing your last remark), I think that she just didn't care. Some of Sanji's remarks were vicious and venomous. To attack Luffy's dream like that was super low and uncalled for, especially because he gave Sanji's the opportunity to live out his. At that point, Nami just stopped caring about intent, I believe. There are certain lines you don't cross, and for her one of those is obviously Luffy. No worries there XD

I thought Luffy was going to gear 4th Sanji when he said "You lied to us.... you lied to me?" Rip Germa 66 if he went that far.

So she's Sasuke

Agreed, Sanji just pulled out all the stops and said screw it! More weight is put on Nami now because she needs to keep it together and do damage control. She needs to pick up all the pieces, all while being in enemy territory with a man that's been emotionally crushed. Luffy can't fight anymore, and his hunger strike means no regaining his strength. I'm loving the development that all three of these characters are getting, even though it's happening in such a cruel manner

Nami's smile is gone Luffy, watcha gonna do now?
It's best for Sanji to take down his own father.
Oh god yes! I agree a million times over!!

YES. Though if you read Fairy Tail you'd prefer her over Sauce ANY DAY
Erza most certainly does ruin things.
Okay. If that's how you see it

Technically speaking, Nami has stopped smiling a lot. Genzo should of killed Luffy 10000 times by now. Blackbeard vs Luffy won't fight for the One Piece. Genzo will be on Raftel to kill Luffy.

^ and Luffy is the only one that can bring it back
If Sanji says "Sorry about that, I'm back" she'll smile again. Unless Nami is crying about Cracker. Cracker x Nami

Robin. Ace was victimized as Robin said "No more friendship!" That and it doesn't lead to his death.Which style? Robin or ace.

Ah, sorry it took so long. But I finally read the chapter, I was occupied with other things yesterday. Two awesome things! Nami defended Luffy and showed Grit to Sanji by slapping him, showing that lying or not, he crossed the line by trampling on Luffy's feelings (waifu material there lol). Secind is that Luffy won against Sanji without throwing a single punch and reduced him to tears of remorse.
