Didn't know, but since a lot of it seems to be based on folklore anyway it makes sense.
Oh wait...I did kinda know. My brother said something about it to me about a week ago...I think...or is my memory just dodgy and he didn't really tell me but I'm getting deja vu....hmm...........

Everything in Naruto is based on Japanese mythology. All the Uchiha move names are based on Japanese gods. Orochi was a 9-headed snake killed by Susano-O. And much more.

Oh cool. I didn't actually know this.
Why do people NOT ship these two? I just don't get it.
Probably cause they hate Sakura. When she's probably the most developed female character in the whole show.
I respect Hinata, but Sakura deserves some too.

Yes. Everything.
Even Naruto's win over Kiba.
There's a japanese mythology revolving around farting on dogs or something?

Yes, I knew it since years ago.
Many elements of Naruto are taken from myth or folklore.
Did you know that kitsune often transformed into beautiful women to deceive men? Now you know where Naruto's Oiroke no Jutsu came from.
Do you want to take over the world, huh? Well, you'll have to go through us first!
