This will always be one of my favorite movies and how Naruto maybe should have been in pairing terms.
Funny thing is, besides NaruSaku, James, I might see "She's Out of My League" would fit into another pair of mine, which is Choji x Ino. :)
But seriously, I can see that working well since Naruto would fit into Kirk (Jay Baruchel)'s role, while Sakura is Molly (Alice Eve), and it leads to Naruto trying to figure out how to make his and Sakura's relationship work.

I liked the 50 first dates ones because it's one of Adam Sandler's last good movies.
It is an okay movie...although I find Ryan Reynolds to be a better actor than Adam Sandler. If they had a 50 first dates with Ryan instead of Adam....ooh boy...good stuff in my opinion.
I like the proposal one better but this is nice
Gerard Butler is also pretty good.

Short answer? Because people are wrong.
The voice actress has no influence, sway, or authority over the work. She voiced SP Naruto, and we know Naruto the anime got things wrong in many ways. And her prediction was Naruto was going to be single, regardless of her shipping status, it doesn't support at all a theory she thought NS would make sense. Further, she -was- happy about the NH outcome as well. There were mentions in interviews about several folks in SP preferring NS at the end, so professional has nothing to do with it, given Kishimoto freely mentions those who expected something else, and by that extension, saying Kishimoto would defend it is silly in that regard. He only explains why he picked Hinata, and for him, why it always made sense to pair them together. People will twist the pity and terrible woman stuff as the answer, but it really has to do with Hinata's faith in him from day one, really only shared by Naruto's parents in that regard.
It's just my opinion, but I don't think you can claim the "only truth" for yourself either...
She has no influence over the story - got it. But her voice gave life to Naruto. She is somehow connected to him. Ever made voice overs? I guess not. Doing so creates a bond between actor and figure. Not always, but many voice actors feel close to their portrayed characters. By putting emotions in your speech, you understand what this person is going through. I've heard some actors talking about their roles like: this is not what he/she would do in that situation.
Back to NS: if the voice actress is supporting that ship, that means she felt the same way we do - while acting. In a very far-fetched way, you could say Naruto supports NS.
No, I just believe that what she felt has more weight than the words of someone who didn't spend years portraying the character. That said, I never lost a bad word about NH, but about that: if I was an author and wrote a story, foreshadowing something and in the end going, like: WELL, that was just faux, here is your real ending; I would expect people to freak out and instead of telling them they were wrong and there was nothing real in my words, I would say that it made sense plot-wise, changing the direction of the story was necessary to show my determination, but understand my fans and their anger since I teased them. What did Kishi do, though? Tell us that Sakura was a side character (Kiba) and Hinata was planned all along. Does that sound coherent to my example?
So what Kishimoto thinks and did to the story is something that kind of shows that he doesn't understand his fans. I respect him, I'm not angry at him or anything (at least, try not to be), but all those arguments about him planning this and doing that don't seem relevant: he just seems to adjust reality like it's most pleasing. NO HATE, he created something wonderful, but he really has a hard time understanding his fanbase.
And I think, you do, too. You don't really understand what most people on this side bother, do you?
There is just so much dissapointment with how things went. Of course, it's not "right" to blame Kishimoto for everything since it's his decision, and not adult to hate on Hinata since she is a cinnamon cookie roll, but talking about feelings in a way it made sense? I don't think that is possible. You cannot calculate love. There are things speaking for and against NS; NH; probably even ShikaTema or InoSai, and I don't know what I'm talking about anymore. Didn't plan to fill a whole side with bad grammar.

Junko understands Naruto more than Kishimoto.
I mean, shut up sensei.
When you've been playing the character that long, acting out his every thought and line, you gain a solid idea of how he thinks and operates. Junko lived and breathed Naruto the character for nearly 15 years. Prior to the ending, when she would comment on NS, it was as if she was speaking as a matter of fact (i.e. looking forward to when Naruto finally confessed, what their kid's name would be, etc).
Behold! Akame ga Kill's True Canon Pairing!

I agree many, many voice acters both Japan and ones in the USA as I know lot put all their talent into the work like Tara Strong, veronica taylor and rachael lillis plus many more they fail in love with the ones they are vocing getting to know how they think and so on.
So I will have to say that I agree Junko knows what she is talking about she voiced him for 15 years maybe more, and now she is stuck in that stupid job cause SP want to milk it.

Does anyone here remember the Interview in wich Junko said that there was a line in "The Last" Naruto was supposed to say after Sakuras' "you only loved me because your rivaly with Sasuke" line? She said that she could not bring herself to say it, because it felt wrong. Supposedly, that line got cut and Naruto didn't answer Sakuras question at all.
I think originally, Naruto was supposed to confirm Sakuras' statement and Junko could not say it because she knew it wasn't true.

I think it was if one of us ever meets her we should ask her.
But if its true good god I can't blame her for not wanting to say it.

She would’ve been really passionate and thrilled as Naruto had NS gotten together too..

That scene comes off as very awkward due to how quiet Naruto is. I don't know what kind of tone they were going for with it, but it definitely didn't work.
Having the past love interest be the cupid is almost always a terrible idea. "Don't worry, she's just as obsessed with you as I was with Sasuke! Toneri is just like you were! Haha!"

No kidding, which is why I always just assume, even if it's unlikely, that Sakura only did that out of some stupid guilt about how she "hurt" Naruto and in the end, she hurt him worse by shoving him to Hinata as well as hurting herself given she is with a kid that isn't hers, a "husband" who isn't around, and all by herself. And meanwhile, Naruto doesn't want to be near his family, Hinata is no good at disciplining the kids, Boruto is a brat, and Himawari is deep down psycho.

Yeah, it feels slightly better if you try to imagine the characters still acting as if they have a conscience and actually care about things, as opposed to the vapid caricatures that I guess we were supposed to be happy that they were turned into. I sometimes do that kind of thing too.

Yeah, and I have a bridge to sell XD
Anyway, here's another topic to talk about: How would you personally resolve the bench scene? Many of us have different scenarios, so let's see how similar or different can they be.

He should just do the action he mentioned and she should figure it out from that. He shouldn't have to actually tell her the words for her to be able to figure it out, as it was very suspicious to begin with.
It doesn't need to be that complicated.
Like Boruto destroys Konoha, so Himawari goes back in time to show Sakura who it was so that Hinata could never give birth to Boruto.

So you want Himawari to risk the existence of Konoha, on what is likely (for dramatic reasons) going to be the only attempt ever made at a time travel jutsu, on a gamble that she can somehow redeem her dipkitten brother, even though he isn't an Uchiha?
