MGS4 was always gonna stay a PS3 exclusive. Doesn't matter how much money Microsoft threw out, but Sony would never let it go.

I for one am interested and think its nice that MGS is spread across platforms. If someone waves $50 million in front of your face, loyalties aren't going to be strong. It is a business after all so Kojima did what was in his best interest.
If 360 gets Raiden, will PS3 get Big Boss? I'd figure Snake deserves some peace after Guns of the Patriots.

I'm just sick of the XBox getting shafted by Konami MGS3 was supposed to come to the original XBox but did it? No. The only MGS the XBox has gotten was MGS2 Substance it's MGS2 with a few added stuff no enhancements. And now we're getting a freaking spin-off game with Goth Ninja Raiden (a guy so angsty he rivals Sasuke as Emo Ninja #1) as the main protagonist instead of what we should have gotten a 360 port of MGS4. I'm never buying this game, I'm never buying a PS3 and quite frankly I don't think I'll ever play a game by Kojima again.

I haven't seen anything related to the game. Sure I'm cynical over the game itself , but still, beating it while it's not born, doesn't make you look good. I'm awaiting for more information.

Did Sony pay for it to be exclusive? That kind of money changing hands is a matter of public record you know.
MGS4 could be done on the 360, but when you make a game for a specific piece of hardware it can be difficult to port it. That's why Konami seems to be going multiplatform now with MGS: Rising being 360, PS3 and PC.

that's probably why, and I haven't heard anything regarding Sony paying for MGS4, they rarely buy third party exclusives, and they dont own any rights to the game.
Also, Kojima will spend more time on Peace Walker where he'll be Director, Producer, and Be in charge of the game Design. However, he wont direct MGS: Rising, and will take a more hands off approach with it.

The game with Big Boss, IS a PSP only title. It's over the cuban missile crisis situation.
and the MGS:Rising is for both ps3 and 360. all this is according to IGN.
