Teehee'd within seconds? I don't even smile until episode 4 on it and only really start watching from Episode 6 just coz I like the song.

Glad to know I'm not the only guy here who watches these type of series.

Been a big fan of Fushigi Yugi, Marmalade Boy, Video Girl Ai, Please Teacher and Please Twins. Those are the major ones I got interested for the most part.

I'm not sure I know of any that I 'secretly' really like. I'm not even sure which, if any, anime I SHOULD be saying I should 'secretly' like, since most of the examples I've seen (like Fushigi Yuugi, Yu Yu Hakusho, Love Hina, etc.) are things which, to the best of my knowledge, have a pretty unisex audience -- maybe a little more favoring one gender than the other, but nothing so lopsided I can imagine anyone would be 'ashamed' to admit they enjoyed it. I suppose Sailor Moon (which I never got into) might be a bit of a stretch in that regard, but then look at all the males going to anime conventions dressed up like sailor scouts -- it's really hard to say there's any anime out there which a guy might legitimately feel some need to like only 'secretly.'

I supose I could mention Akazukin no Cha Cha (which is a little kids shoujo anime... although it certainly has elements for adults to enjoy in it, too), which is a bit young for a guy in his thirties. I could also say that, along that vein, that for that very, VERY brief period it was on the air, I liked the Monster Ranchers series when I saw it on TV... (unfortunately, the network pulled it mid-storyline, and they've never sold more than the first ten or twelve episodes on DVD in the US). But I don't really think I need to 'secretly' confess to liking either of them -- I like them, so what?

Hellz yes.

I like seinen manga. Especially bloody and gore kinds like Berserk, Gantz, Vagabond and Higurashi. But I dunno if that's really weird or shameless. 8D

Ani-chan, I recommend Uzumaki by Junji Ito. I discovered it while I was searching for manga to read.

I thought at first it was a side story of Naruto (Uzumaki), so I clicked on it, saw my fatal mistake, and got interested. It's classified as horror, but it's more of gore, in my opinion. And, I already finished it a while ago. From what I read from its Wikipedia source, it's a seinen manga.

Not advisable for those who are traumatized easily.

Now, I really enjoy slice of life series or school life series with an injection of romance.
Suzuka, Video Girl AI, Aizu, Kare Kano, Fruits Basket, Air, Chobits, Maison Ikkoku, Pastel, Parallel, Salad Days, Saikano, To Heart, Onegai Twins, Onegai Teacher.

I like a few shoujos; Fruit Baskets, Kare Kano, Cardcaptors.



I even watch those series turned into movies/dramas.

and someone said to me that sora (from digimon 1) was with yamato, not taichi, is it right?

Hmm...I guess I would say Ichigo 100%. I thought it was a good story and a great ending to a Harem.
Guess it's not a secret anymore. And anime....Lucky Star.
