In the end, Nintendo is a business, so they won't stop making shovelware, because they like the money. At the same time, it wouldn't hurt to make some more quality games for people who do get a thrill out of Wii sports everyday.

As long as it doesn't suck as bad as last years I hope its good.

Looking forward to 360/PS3 info, and lol Nintendo.

Rumor: New Super Mario at E3?

Well its just a rumor but it has piqued my interest. Would be nice to see some more good games from Nintendo besides casual and things like Wii Fit Plus...

So far E3 seems a lot better than last years, but I do hope there are some surprises/interesting things during the conference.

Possibility of a PS3 Slim coming soon, too. Rumors are circulating around the internet....

It looks ugly as hell though. I'm sticking with my phat PS3.

Bayonetta is looking good. biggrin.gif I hope the gameplay is at least as good as the graphics are.

Just had a thought - it'd be nice if we got more announcements for Street Fighter 4. happy.gif New characters/stages anyone? Bring in Dee Jay, T.Hawk, Elena, Ibuki, Karin et al!

*awaits for Super Street Fighter IV Turbo-like update* Eventually Capcom will do it tongue.gif

But I want to see the US version of Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom because its going to be in E3 this year. Hopefully we'll get the new characters and online mode.

A couple of the Wii games I'm looking forward to are:

-Dead Space Extraction (Once Hoku gives me his 360 copy >_O)
-Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles (I heard this was going to be a remake of RE2?)
-The Conduit (A pretty hardcore looking shooter)

I've been keeping an eye on that game, I was a bit disappointed with DMC4 so I'm hoping Kamiya has a winner on his hands.

btw, the oft rumored PSP Go! has been leaked

Still no second analog, its gonna have 16 gig memory (No UMD) and a memory slot to use other storage devices. However, they wont be discontinuing the PSP-3000 model and will sell both.

I was disappointed with DMC4, too! It looked very nice, but the gameplay felt somewhat... tired? Hopefully Bayonetta will inject some spark into that genre.

I also second True's list of Wii games! Dead Space was excellent (if very gruesome and dark), and Extraction looks surprisingly good. Lately, my Wii has been getting some of my attention - Punch-Out, No More Heroes, and House of the Dead: Overkill. No More Heroes 2 will also be at E3, which is excellent news. biggrin.gif If you haven't seen the latest NMH2 trailer, go and see it. It's a riot. XD

The PSPGo doesn't look convincing. I mean, it seems to be a redesign of the same hardware - albeit with added flash memory - and doesn't seem to offer anything that could revive the PSP's flagging fortunes. My PSP has been collecting dust for at least half a year because there are very few worthwhile games being released on it these days.

there was nothing next-gen about DMC4, besides the graphics and the Devil Bringer, it felt like the PS2 games. But I have faith in Kamiya since he directed the original DMC.

I haven't gotten the chance to play the original yet, but im looking forward to playing it.

In terms of sales, selling Hardware hasnt been an issue since they've reached the 50 Million mark, which is good considering since it's their first foray into the Handheld Market. But, it has lacked a consistent library of games, dont get me wrong, it has some fantastic games, but once youre down with the Heavy Hitters there's not much to play other than console ports. However, the up coming support of third party studios is stellar,
Metal Gear
Final Fantasy Agito XIII
Dissidia: Final Fantasy
Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep
Tekken 6
Soul Calibur Broken Destiny
New Naruto PSP Game
Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron
Assassins Creed 2

Along with some first party Games
Gran Turismo
Little Big Planet
Motorstrom Arctic Edge
and I hear their may be another God Of War coming to the PSP

And finally, the PSP GO doesn't compel me to buy one, unless many of the aforementioned games are downloadable only, that would suck.

Well, I'll keep an eye on the PSP scene. happy.gif It's true a lot of them are console ports, I prefer to get them on PS3/360/Wii instead for the full experience. What the PSP really needs are original games, like a few of those you already mentioned. One reason the DS is so successful is because it has games especially designed for it, such as Mario Kart, Professor Layton, Phantom Hourglass etc.

Anyway, according to Kotaku, a Japanese business newspaper has broken the news that Nintendo will release a new Mario game on the Wii later this year. Hopefully we'll hear about it in E3! It remains to be seen whether it's a game like Mario Galaxy or just a quick cash-in (Mario Fit? Mario Music? Mario Paint? Mario Party 928764?). I'm hoping it's the former, of course.

That was a pretty good showing. After that Beatles Rock Band I sort of was ambivalent but its pretty cool now.

The Eye toy comes to the 360 huh? I'm sure it will give Nintendo a run for their money /sarcasm.

Doubt MGS will be exclusive either, but I can sense the console wars getting hotter already.
