Im more so curious to learn about his origins. I dont necessarily see it as a bad thing to do a prequel so long as you feel there is a story to be told.

While yes, this was only because of the 99p votes is why were getting this Minato 1-shot.


But lets not forgot that Kishi did express interest in doing a Minato Gaiden story in the past.

I can imagine depending on how the reception is to this 1 shot, it can to a Gaiden volume length story.


Now will it be good? Thats the question we should be asking ourselves.

Personally, Im just curious about it more than I am excited about the story.

Oh the game does have a story that isn't the manga I guess Therece was right about that. Would have helped if they had just said wait for a story trailer, then left it hanging instead of getting snippy with me, or more give sourced info since they were interested in the game. I was wrong, but I still feel that without any knowledge about the specifics, because I don't care about the game, to assume they would do the Boruto story; since that is what they did with the other Ninja Storm games. Which was my position.

 

By the trailer some cult leader has reignited a shinobi world by controlling people. He has control over Naruto who is leading his forces while Sasuke fights him. Boruto teams up with some mystical Blond Girl to fix it...huh, her face does like like Sakura, wearing a hairband, her eyes are a mix of green and blue. So she does somewhat look like a NS child.

 

Going by the trailer and my guessing. I still doubt that it will be this glorious story that will the expel the evil of Yahagi and restore it to Kishimoto or whatever they believed was going to happen.

 

Kagomaru your link didn't work for me. In September, they will be releasing 4 new episodes under the Naruto name to celebrate the 20th anniversary. They already released three teaser posters...judging by them these four episodes are going to be an abridged version of the anime. Surprisingly, none of the poster have Hinata in them, and all of them have Sakura.

This feels like trying to remind people of Naruto, and trying to get views to see if Naruto still has appeal. In other words, its another check -like those manga and those polls- that they been doing all year to see if Naruto is still popular, what is popular in Naruto, should they keep it going or just cancel it outright?

According to leaks, that girl in the trailer is an Uchiha (yep another one) named Nanashi and is from the online game Boruto plays. She is able to mind control people and some new evil organization wants to use it to brainwash the world by using her eyes to create a reflection off the moon, or something like that...

So not anything remotely interesting.

She is able to mind control people and some new evil organization wants to use it to brainwash the world by using her eyes to create a reflection off the moon, or something like that...

So not anything remotely interesting.

I saw some NS fans talk about her on twitter and theorizing maybe she was a NaruSaku child from a multiverse. But its only natural they won't throw NaruSaku a bone in any way, shape or form. The staff at Studio Pierrot would rather see their company go bankrupt and drown in endless debt than give up NH. 

They were even thinking she'd be portrayed as a villain if so. Guess they were half right.
Either way, sounds really stupid, even if it she were a NaruSaku child. Hard pass.

Yeah it always sucks to say but NaruSaku is a dead pairing it'll never get a crumb going forward, even if there is a reboot one day.

The two of them aren't even really allowed to interact anymore in the manga/anime as friends, so not a chance they'd have a multiverse kid.

...The Blond hair green eye girl is another uchiha...and she some dimensional traveler from an online video game Boruto plays? OK, what else can one say to that other than, "this game's plot just got dumber." How did she come out of the video game? Is this some Otsutsuki karma seal kitten or something else? Nanashi can mean "nameless" in the Japanese, so is she someone player character or an npc? Is she Boruto's secret Online female player character? 

 

She still feels like bait, and hoping people would buy it without knowing.

 

So, the story of the game is, that cult leader is doing some IT repeat and he needs Boruto's online player character to do it? ...I think they were better off just doing the Boruto manga story instead...I can't believe I had to type that.

 

As much as one might want to point the finger at SP this is likely CC2 doing. Its not like they haven't done nH moments before.

 

The companies are very reluctant to abandon nH/SS entirely as it would also mean abandoning Boruto, and I'm guess there is some suck-cost going on with that as well being uncertain if NS would solve their issues. They keep doing these checks to find out what's popular to keep the lights on, but they are unlikely to fix the real issues.

I just want to see if he still got it in terms of art skill to be honest. The Minato art was looking a little shaky to me to be honest. Poster looked like the old Kishi drew it though, but some things about it still felt a little off.

True true it would be the first in a long time since weve seen him draw.

As far as it looking like the old Kishi art, I can see it and thats honestly not a bad thing. I actually do kinda prefer how Kishis art style was in part 1 over in part 2.

Well were gonna find out in less then 15 days!

my fault. I meant the old Kishi as in general. Him from the Part 2 days. Even though you could say that he started developing his part 2 style during part 1 around the time Sasuke was leaving. Could be a little earlier but I forgot. But, I would like to see if he still got it.
