All the info is on 2chan apparently from leaked sources within Kadokawa and KyoAni.

It just seems that Kadokawa plans to have this season 2 air without caring for the quality since they know the fans will buy the DVD's anyway. If there is some actual backlash from Haruhi fans towards this, then things could be actually effective but it looks like Kadokawa is pretty confident in their beliefs. It all depends on the DVD sales once the show stops airing.

Well, it's a relief to hear that Endless Eight isn't going to turn into eight actual episodes. And I'm fine watching the episodes once. But for some reason, this arc doesn't have the same re-watch potential IMO. I'm not going to be too tempted to buy the DVD and re-watch the episodes when I feel like I've already watched them six times.

(Well, I guess it's slightly less obvious than following Koizumi's advice.) But Nagato seriously should kick him in the head for making her go through that 15,000 times. Sure, the others kind of knew about it and keep remembering it. So they have a sense of futility going through each one, but at least they don't remember the previous ones except as deja vu.


BTW, where are you guys reading the manga at? I've only found the first three volumes in the US and that's also the only ones that I've found online.

UM SO. IF ANYONE CARES, for those who haven't watched all the godforsaken EE eps, you can watch this:

• Here I am with my imouto, lazying away during the summer. Watching but not really a baseball game that's on the tube too. I seem to be half-heartedly cheering for the losing team because I seem to always empathize with them. Or something. Also, Haruhi's gonna call me I think...
• KYON-KUN, DENWA! - stfu you don't need to tell me that - *little sister gr fais* - stupid sexy Kyon
• Haruhi forces Kyon to bring his bike to the meeting spot (OVA~) in the middle of the station. Yeah that one. He's late, gets a penalty, then they all leave. Haruhi though, makes Kyon take her and Yuki on his one bike as well as race Koizumi who only has Mikuru. ANGRY KYON IS ANGRY.
• Tiem for shweeming! - Public pool? More like mass-communal pool amirite? - LOL THAT JOKE DOESN'T GET OLD THE 8TH TIME YOU TELL IT KYON. FFF
• They all stand infront of the pool for awhile, Koizumi is wearing a speedo in one of those, that's the one you want to avoid men, ladies too. Then Haruhi abuses Mikuru into the pool and dives in herself. Kyon goes "NO DIVING WTF *FACEPALM*" Koizumi gets a DEJA VU FEERING but brushes it off as a tickle to his brain.
• and so, they all laugh and giggle and play and pig out. Koizumi and Kyon watch from the sidelines. Kyon looks at Yuki (who looks bored, amazingly) and has that "HOSNAP DEJA VU IS THAT YU?" but brushes it off. Yay more playtime with the brigade! Haruhi recruits loli-members. They all laugh at Kyon.
• FLASH FORWARD TO THE DINER SCENE. Haruhi makes a list. This list is all the stuff they're gonna do for 5k years. I mean the rest of summer. Mikuru adds goldfish catching. Yuki's icecubes go *tink*. Koizumi looks at the list, nods, and gives it back. Totally not suspicious. They all BREAK and leave. Kyon stays behind and wants to tell Yuki something, but he doesn't, and flees thinking "wtf was i thinking wtf was i thinking wtf was i thinking" over and over again.
• YUKATA SHOPPINGGGGGGGGGG~ Haruhi has snazzy taste. She ses it herself. Kyon agrees with a "KAWAIIIII~"
• FLASH FORWARD TO FIREWORKS FESTIVAL! Haruhi and Mikuru go to catch goldfish. Kyon goes with Yuki. Yuki wants a mask, Kyon offers to buy, Yuki buys herself. OMG DRAMA. And soon they're shooting off fireworks of their own. Kyon WHAT'S at Haruhi finishing her homework 3 days in summer, while he hasn't touched his. He curses god for giving her brains. God just shrugs.
• FLASH FORWARD TO BALLOON FROG COSTUMES/CICADA CATCHING! Frog costumes are used to attract people to Haruhi's some guy she knows/dads shop. Some guy or dad gives Haruhi as a prize, MIKURU'S NEW COSTUME: FROG! Kyon curses her again. If it's the Cicada Catching contest, they all compete to catch the most. The winnrar gets to be chief. Haruhi wins. Haruhi = chief = Haruhi = winner. K? Then they release bugs, since "they'll repay us back! I know it!" - Haruhi
• middle of the night: KYON-KUN, DENWA! - "Nghh wha-MIKURU?!" - "Kyon, it's Koizumi." - "You bastard what're you doing with her, I'll cut you." - "Kyon, come to the station it's urgent." - "...uh sure."
• RUNRUNRUNBIKEBIKEBIKERUNRUN - "MIKURU WHAT'S WRONG?" - "Kyon, I..I..I.." - "Seems she can't go back to her own time." - "EHHH?" - "Kyon-kun, I classified information when I was supposed to classified information. I figure I should classified information but then after I tried to classified information, I ended up classified information! Now it's all classified information! Baaaaw"
• WTF SHE SAYIN ASN.
• Koizumi: "Seems that we're stuck in an endless recursion of time. Haruhi's doing of course. She doesn't know it. Even we don't have any recollection each time we're thrown into another loop. We only have deja vu. Only one person can remember everything though... Yuki." - "Wtf dat true?" - "Yes, I retain everything. We've done this summer 5,499-5,515 times. Variations were done." - "Oh snap."
• They break and go home, not really knowing what to do. The mood is melancholy (c wut i did?) because of this. Seems that Yuki's been doing this for thousands of years.
• THE NEXT NIGHT: Stargazing! Haruhi wants to find martians. Kyon says it's better without them because they wanna kill humans. Haruhi doesn't think so. Maybe they're friendly! OMG DRAMA. (Btw each time, Haruhi remaps the universe if you notice her pointing the telescope in different directions to find Mars. Ah-mazing.) Haruhi gets bored and starts looking for YUUEFFOH, YUUEFFFOH.
• Haruhi and Mikuru fall asleep. D'aw. Yuki stares into the night. B'aw. Koizumi and Kyon chat.
• Koizumi: I think you should wrap your arms around Haruhi, whisper in her ear "I RAAV YUU" to break the loops. Maybe she's waiting for that to happen and thus be satisfied with summer?
• Kyon: Stfu like hell. I have the right to refuse! *REFUSES*
• Koizumi: then maybe ...I should do it?
• Kyon: *doesn't show his face* ...
• Koizumi: Heyhey it was just a joke. If I'd done it it would've just confused her...
• THE NEXT DAY BASEBALLU. Haruhi scores a homerundowngoal. Kyon talks to Yuki about her time in the endless looping. Asks how to break the loop. Yuki can't say (I think, I forget) Then in the latest eps, Kyon backtracks and gets closer to figuring out wtf to do.
• THE NEXT DAY: DAY BEFORE END OF SUMMER! Dinner chat. Everyone's emo. Haruhi's doesn't mind it, since she has ADHD. Then she gives everyone the day off, since she can't figure out what to do with the last day. Leaves it open for someone else to suggest something, no one does. Kyon though is mulling his brain to think of something. Party look at him, pleading with their animu-uguu eyes. Haruhi bails and gets up to leave.
• 1-7: "HOLY CRAP I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-- eff homework. Future Kyon will worry about it. /goseeps

END 8: watch the last 5 minutes yourselves. It's so delicious. I missed Kyon getting verbally buttraeped by Haruhi.

Sigh Japan. All this over loaded moe and quite possibly the worst set of episodes and they still manage to break the 10k mark while many other underrated series don't ever cross the 5k mark. I really used to like Haruhi the first time around but now I absolutely loathe it because of it's retarded fandom. The industry thinks that in order to sell a lot you can ignore quality as long as you make something that appeals to the current tastes of the watchers. This is why I really dislike KyoAni with Lucky Star and K-ON and setting the standard for making lots of money. It's hard to find a good series amongst all the crap.
