Ofcourse since there are so many I doubt Kishi will gave most of them focus or hell even cameos, so you can pick a select few of random characters what you think they'll be doing by the epilogue.

I'll start

Naruto - Hokage (kind of obvious)

Sasuke - Head of the new Konoha police force (since that was his original dream)

Sakura - I guess she would work at the hospital or be a stay at home mom like Kushina

Konohamaru - probably going to be a teacher (like Iruka is) or maybe even sensei

Shikamaru - advisor

etc. etc. you get the point

I'm not sure what some other characters will be doing (Kakashi, Hinata or Lee)

Naruto : Hokage and Sasuke's lover.

Sakura : Work at Naruto's office.

Sasuke : Drawing "Berserk" and Naruto's lover.

Konohamaru : Writing Ecchi Light Novels.

Shikamaru : Too lazy to do something.

Neji : Dead

Hinata : Head of her clan.

Ino : Working at Hokage's office.

Obito: Dead. Still being friend-zoned by Rin in afterlife

- Naruto: need I say. Also I believe he will create a sort of UN organization. And they need an Amnesty, srsly human rights sucks child soldiers ftw right..(the latter is more of a wish than a prediction)

- Sakura: Highest rank among medics, whatever that is.

- Sasuke: Building a village of his own, Otogakure maybe. With Taka.

- Kakashi: luffyq1, babysitter would be so sweet! Only part time though, he would still be a ninja.

- Shikamaru: Naruto's advisor and member of the council. And Temari's husband.

- Lee: Taking over Gai's position, becoming a sensei, and finding himself the next Rock Lee.

- Ino: Interregation/crime force. I'm all for this as long as they don't torture anyone. Chouji's wife.

- Gaara: Kazekage and one of Naruto's most trusted allies.

- Konohamaru: Sensei of a genin team.

- Tsunade: Retired, but acts as an advisor for Naruto. She should replace the two old ones, they suck I hope Naruto fires them.

- Kabuto: No idea. Atoning for his crimes in jail? Out on a journey to find himself, much like Sojiro from Rurouni Kenshin.

Naruto: 7th Hokage (the 6th would be a member of the Shimura Clan who is much more well adjusted than Danzo ever was, but still willing to make pragmatic choices like his/her possible (grand)father and Tobirama were) and the First General Secretary of the United Nations: Ninja Edition (it would consist of a council of ninja clans representing their countries, five clans per small nation and twelve clans per large nation). Father of at least four or five kids with the hair colors of their (grand)parents. Sakura's husband. Master of all five basic elements, all the Kekkei Genkai elements and all the Kekkei Tota elements.

 

Sakura: Chief Officer of the Medical Corps and Naruto's wife. Master of Haruno Clan Inner Sakura/Jungian Psychology-based Genjutsu, Cherry Blossom based Ninjutsu and maybe Earth, Water, Lightning and all the other potential elemental combinations from those three basic elements.

 

Sai: Leader of a newly reformed Root organization or the Anbu Black Ops.

 

Yamato: Leader of the Tenzo Clan, the spiritual successors to the Senju Clan.

 

Kakashi: Leader of the Hatake Clan, the spiritual successors to the Uchiha Clan.

 

Sasuke: Preferably dead, but if he's still alive, probably a wandering eunuch. I can't stand the thought of him raising a family with anyone for that matter. Because his kids totally won't inherit their father's rage issues and inability to not be governed by their irrational emotions.

 

Suigetsu: Leader of the Seven Mist Swordsman Generation that Chojuro is a part of.

 

Jugo: Doing something with his clan that I assume live within the borders of the Sound Village's country along with Jirobo's Clan, Kidomaru's Clan, Sakon's/Ukon's Clan and Tayuya's Clan.

 

Karin: A forever alone patient in a mental institution.

 

Tsunade: Dead by the end of the war. Possibly due to sacrificing herself.

 

Ohnoki: Also dead due to sacrificing himself. An unseen character with the Dust Release abilities would be the Fourth Tsuchikage.

 

A: Now has the same Black Lightning abilities as his father, though he utilizes it more for his Nintaijutsu.

 

Mei Terumi: Just doing Mizukage things as usual. Would probably still be the subject of Christmas Cake jokes though.

 

Gaara: Has Shukaku sealed back inside him and on good terms with him.

 

Killer B: Still alive with Gyuki still sealed inside him.

 

The Dead Jinchurikis: Back from the dead somehow.

 

Shikamaru: Adviser to Naruto, married to Temari, Sensei to Kurenai's kid, head of his clan.

 

Ino: Head of interrogation division, married to Choji, both of whom are the heads of their respective clans.

 

Rock Lee: The next generation's Might Guy, married to Tenten.

 

Kiba, Shino, Hinata: Heads of their respective clans.

 

Konohamaru: Prime candidate to become Naruto's successor as the 8th Hokage. Master of all five basic elements just like his grand-pappy.

 

Kabuto: Living his day with his fellow orphan buddies or something.

 

Kisame: Alive due to having been Samehada's wielder for so long that his chakra has left it's imprint within Samehada's being. 

 

Obito: Dead.

 

Guy: Maybe dead, maybe alive, I don't know.

So, judging by the fact that everyone's voting for a United Nations for the Ninja World, they're voting for incompetence and war~?
