Many of us are hurt. Many of us are mad. All rightfully so.
We already have people making their own canon ending to Naruto. But I feel like we need to step it up a level.
Kishimoto spat in our faces. NH/SS fandom spat in our faces. Kishimoto's assistants spat in our faces. SP spat in our faces.
Naruto's love for Sakura was not merely a crush. It was never pale. It was never shallow. We were NOT reading the story wrong.
Kishimoto's interview said that for a while, he was on the fence about whether Naruto should end up with Sakura or Hinata.
Naruto ONLY ended up with Hinata because Kishimoto thought Sakura would be a terrible woman for giving up on Sasuke romantically.
This ending is Kishimoto trying to cover his butt for this horrible ending. It is a plain as day.
I don't care what SP or the fans say. Kishimoto would have put Naruto and Sakura together if he didn't have that stupid mindset of Sakura being terrible for romantically giving up on someone who tried to murder her three times.
Yes, Kishimoto is a horrible writer when it comes to romance. I wish he realized how well he was at it when it came to Naruto and Sakura.
Honestly, I don't feel like we should continue to sit back and quietly take this. Like they say, when life gives you lemons...
I don't know how many, but I know there are those who still feel passionately about NaruSaku.
I don't think Kishimoto is getting the message that he has assassinated his own characters and story. Chances are, he's getting filtered responses of people praising him. Patting him on the head and dumping truckloads of money on him for his horrible job.
I feel like we need to make this a revolution of types. I wanted to give up on NaruSaku and Naruto. When I saw this horrible ending, I wanted to throw it all away and forget it all ever happened. But I couldn't. I tried so hard, but I couldn't.
I know there are some who feel the same.
It's time to get up and shove NaruSaku in Kishimoto's face. In the world's face.

Why am I suggesting this? Because I spent 10 years of my life on this series. Others have done the same if not more or less. Not even a year should be wasted for the plate of crap we were served. And we don't have to eat it.
What's worse is that we were baited until that horrible ending. Lead on like a fish before hooked, grabbed and led to it's demise.
I had never been as passionate as I had for a (canon) couple like NaruSaku. NaruSaku gave me something to be passionate about.
This isn't just about NaruSaku. This is also about the series in a whole. We've spent so much of our passion, time and even money on this series whose author decided to dupe us all. And he's getting all the praise and money for it.
I'm not gonna stand for it. I'm not going to let my time, money and emotions get played with and crapped on like that. Is anyone else with me?
