We have a movie about Sasuke and Kakashi yet none for the other main character Sakura and somehow Hinata beats her into getting a movie focused on her even though she's a secondary character. Is it because she's Nardo's wife? They sure didn't treat her like that in the manga where even Shikamaru and Rock Lee had more importance than her. Naruto's real wife is Sakura. She was the most important female and the one Naruto truly loved which is why it's outrageous how Hinata the girl he ignored beat her. The Last is the hardest living proof that the studio and Kikitten don't care about Sakura.

A new day will come, and when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer, Those are stories that stayed with you, that meant something... Even if you were too small to understand why... But I think I do understand, I know now... Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn't, they kept going. Cuz they were holding on to something ... That there's some good in this world... And It's worth fighting for !!!!!!

thanks I mean in time Naruto will be forgotten, it will never be a story that is remembered like others are today remembered for the adventures for the ones that we read about, I mean I can name so many stories that mean something to the readers that writers try to tell us through their stroy be it friendship, or even love, this is why Naruto will not be remembered. A story has to mean something to the reader, and we can see that in Kishi he no longer cared for the world that he made.

The only reason The Last made so much is because of all the false advertising. Its the only canon movie movie of the franchise, it was told that this movie would tie all the loose ends etc,etc. This movie was supposed to be this 'Epic Grandfinale' that brings closure too all the characters and plot-points because it is called 'The Last'. It wouldn't have done half as well if not for the misleading title, advertising and the no refund policy. You just have to look at the movie's rating to see this. 8 out of the top 10 reviews give this movie 1/5 stars and each of those reviews has about 100 likes each.

And anyways even if this movie's collection surpasses Rtn's(I believe that it will) the question remains how much does it really help SP. Its gonna cost them in the long run.
But having said that ,as of right now this movie is going to bring them a lot of money. I'm sure its gonna do great in the west as well. So to see the damage that the movie caused to the franchise I think we'll have to see how the rest of the New Era project does.

By far from what I see in the early reception before The Last premiering two weeks from now here in my country, most of Naruto fans were pretty excited since this will be the first time ever anime movie will be playing throughout the chosen cinemas all over the country. I'm not sure if they followed up closely the news through the fandom regarding how well this movie has been faring so far at its own motherland, and to read all the fans' comments on the advertisement also makes me assume that they are pretty content that NH happened (some keep on blab can't wait to see himawari uzumaki and boruto uzumaki in it, yadda yadda), not because they are pairing-shippers, but they are story-shippers. So now I'm waiting until the curtain was raised and the after-effect for it. I wonder if this movie will be what they thought they would see to be. Huh

The pre-sales were big, since the movie at the time advertised kakashi, sasuke and naruto mainly.portraying them at promos and in the pre-sales tickets

They only heavilly advertised NH in the trailers and when the movie was close. Yet people still hoped the movie didn't turned out to be so sh*tty, they hoped charcters like kakashi and sasuke had their time to shine not only SP's princess, instead what they got was a stupid shojo melodrama
