I wouldn't care. Why would I give 2 kittens about damage control?
I don't even give two poops about it in Naruto Gaiden, especially since Kishimoto-sensei knows he screwed the pooch after the ending and now he wants to win back fans like us, but to him I can say this; F-U.

I would actually really hate that because of the fandom. We'd be hit with a whole bunch of "this is all Narsaks fault" or "haha Narusakus get a secondary ending out of pity". Like I'm pretty sure none of us want to go through that, because we'd just be painted as the bad guys all over again.

Honestly, we'd still get attacked whether it happened or not. Heck, we're being attacked now. NH/SS probably know how bad the ending is, but are so deep in denial, they're attacking all anti-enders, claiming they're butthurt NaruSaku fans. Even if they don't ship at all.
As for the question itself, it would be very bittersweet. I love NaruSaku so I'd be happy to see it...but ultimately, I'd still hate Studio Pierrot and the ending. It would be very hard to accept at all since we'd all know it would be a disgusting attempt to bring us back. Nothing they can do can fix the abomination they created. Them and Kishimoto.
I honestly think they only way they could make it right is to redo the ending and/or manga and end it right. (The current ending and The Last and Gaiden being non-canon) Also I want Kishimoto to apologize and confess everything.

I'd rather kishi pull a "fooled ya! it was all a genjutsu! they were in infinite tsukiyomi this whole time!" cuz thats the ONLY believable way to reset this mess. but i know for a fact he wont do that. XD

Absolutely. Like, if 5 years from now, Kishimoto admits defeat and re-arranged the ending to making sense, I'd accept it. But I still won't forgive him. Because that doesn't erase his past actions. But they'd have to acknowledge Naruto Gaiden and chapter 700 like DBZ acknowledges Dragonball GT- which is not canon. But yeah at this point that literally is the only way to somewhat fix all of this. Btw, I'd say that Kishimoto has to first hand fix everything as well, and stop letting other people add canon bs to his own story (like the novels).
And yeah no matter what we do we're going to be attacked. That's what happens when you're obsessed. It doesn't matter if you got what you want, you still feel the need to bother your opponent. Like they purposely tie in every bit of bad luck they have with us for some reason. Everything somehow reverts back to NS even when it has nothing to do with NS. Guess that proves how mighty of a foe we were.
