I don't know hoe the title is called in ENglish, but the "Anne auf Green Gables" serie makes me think a lot about NaruSaku. 

 

In ENglish it's most likely "Anne of Green Gables" or "Anne with the red hair", I would guess.

The "red hair" motive! =) It is also a parallel to MinaKushi!

Yeah, MinaKushi fit as well, concidering that Gilbert fell in love with Anne because of her red hair, which she hated herself. Do you know the books?

Nope, but I read the wiki page. Also, the heroine is an orphan just like Kushina was. )

Indeed. But the way how Anne and Gilbert got together made me think more of NaruSaku. Maybe that's why I like those pairings. I loved the books when I was a child, way before I was into Naruto. Good old times.

Speaking of childhood books... "Tom Sawyer" reminds me of Naruto (all those pranks and mischief). And there was this girl named Becky he liked who resembled Sakura somewhat, I think. But his first love was Amy. ) And he ditched her for Becky. Lol.

It's a book series. Percy Jackson & The Olympians and one of my favorite book series ever. Percy is a lot like Naruto and Annabeth is a lot like Sakura, combined with a similar love story and interactions. I ship them too.

I've watched "Emma". The heroine is worse than Sakura to some degree. I tried to imagine Sakura praying for Naruto to be hers or to remain forever alone (yet by her side). And then the fiasco of a confession follows.

 

Naruto: "Sakura, I must tell you what you will not ask..."

Sakura (thinking that Naruto is going to speak about his love for Hinata): "I don't want to hear the words that will deeply upset both of us."

Naruto: "I... of course, Sakura-chan." (dejectedly walks away)

Shippers (in chorus): "Damn it!"

(Kishimoto... smiles at shippers.)

(Sakura runs after Naruto.)

Shippers: "There's still hope!"

Sakura: "I'm sorry. I will hear you out as I'm your friend."

Shippers: "No way!"

Naruto: "We can be friends forever if it is what you want. But I wish we could be more than that..."

Sakura: "Okay."

Shippers: "And that's IT? Two pages?!"

Kishimoto: "Yep, here's your true love. Happy now?"

Shippers: "You don't say!"
