Question, since it has been well over a month now that the Last was official release in Japan, I want to know how well it did. I am assuming it did well financially, yet critically I want to know.

I guess that's true. It's just the villain names need to be well villainy. Not too obvious way, but one works both way. I remember how one joked about a name should be changed because it's not villainy, which lead to roleplay like, "Oh no! Watch out for ____"

"Oh no! Watch out for Naruto The Last!"

Truly the most villainous name to ever think of...

I would seriously be surprised that there's an "event" within the event. I don't ever recall a different reaction than boo or backlash in any event. If it happens in Naruto, I would be shocked.

You know, Chatte. Names are the only thing I'm having trouble with as well. My story is like ready, but not names. I got many characters, but I keep the focus on. Just hard to make names...

 

For the story that I'm writing, I've been looking up the meanings of various words in Japanese that I can use to describe the characteristics of the person in question. Maybe that would help. What type of person are they? What personality do they have, their beliefs? What role do they play in the story?

 

For example, there's a minor character that dies at the very beginning of mine...so I gave him the Japanese word for 'Dead' as his name. Probably not the best example though lol

Story for real. It took me a long time but it's all in my head. Sometimes, when I hear a soundtrack from a game or movie, I always vision my own story taken action and it's like well played out. It's just hard to name or even design them. I almost thought of saying Naruto in a whole new universe, just to save the trouble of names. The world is completely different than Naruto. I already got the big twist and morality down. The whole concept is done. The road to each plot points are done. Everything. Just not names. I wanted to do a manga of it, but yeah, I'm not good at drawing.

Weird, I personally never found names to be that difficult. Maybe I don't too hard for the symbolism of names, or that I just stick with the first name I like. Don't get me wrong, I still look up names and fit a character with a name that matches his or her's personality. It is just I never see it as being difficult, in fact for the most part I find it fun!

If it helps, sometimes I give characters common last names and even give names base on creators that I really like.

Yeah but there's a problem with that milady. There are a lot of people that are ok with this ending or even worse consider this the best ending in history of storytelling. I wish I didn't live on this planet anymore.

The only ones from what I saw that didn't like this ending that we got are the Japanese (which they matter the most) and us.

 

The way I see it in order for Kishi or SP or whoever is really in charge to change this ending and give us a proper ending. Is by people stop buying their stuff. That means manga volumes, anime on DVDs, merchandise etc.

Essentially people have to vote with their wallets. Only then are they going to admit they f**cked up.

Oh, I see. So, from what I am gathering, is that you are claiming that MOST OF THE NARUTO FANBASE doesn't like the ending. Why I am saying most, because Japan has, or at least should have, the largest Naruto fanbases when compared to the rest of the world. 

Here's the thing guys, it is one thing for some fans to like an ending. It is in everyone's power to like or dislike anything you want. But when consider that The Last has pretty terrible score on Yahoo (anything below 3 by users should always be cause of alarm for any movie), and that the fact that there have been soooo many hate comments, there must be a problem with the film.

Will they address themselves, probably not.

I don't want to tempt fate, but it seems like the scoring as gone back down to 2.84. 

Well, no matter what that is still a pretty bad reception to have from audiences. Besides the film has already caused a lot of controversy, so even if it suddenly magically gets better reviews (which is unlikely) that controversy will stick with them. No matter that they do, this film will be remember for the negativity it brought.
