An unofficial NaruSaku/MinaKushi month is being hosted on Tumblr, and we at Heaven & Earth should participate!

Rules

 

1) No bashing. There should be absolutely no mention of any other pairings in this thread. This event is solely meant to show our love for NaruSaku and MinaKushi respectively, not to hate on other ships, characters, or fandoms. If you run across a post that breaks this rule, report it immediately to a mod/admin.  

 

2) Source all artwork/fan fiction/edits. If you find a piece of art that you did not create, but you want to share it, be sure to post the source along with it. Credit should go to the person that took their time to create it. That goes for fan fictions and edits as well.

 

3) Have fun!

Day 2 - NaruSaku Head Canons

 

A head canon is essentially an idea that you think should happen or would like to see happen, but has not yet become a canon fact. An example of a head canon that I assume we all have in common is Naruto kissing Sakura's forehead. What are some other head canons that you've thought up over the years?

P.S. Since we only participated during Day 1 for six hours, I think it's fair that we continue posting NaruSaku edits throughout Day 2.

Headcanon: Naruto gives Sakura his jacket whenever she looks cold.

I wonder if this month makes more momentum for NS. It's like when there's a NS related month, Kishi will go all NS. Maybe it's a huge coincidence. Maybe...

Headcanon: At the end of the war, Sakura is working to heal the injured while the rest of the Alliance celebrates their victory. She is approached by the Lover Nin, and they revisit their old discussion about the man that she loves. He assumes that it must be Naruto after everything he witnessed them do together during the battle: "Against a guy like that, I had no chance from the start. He really is amazing." She looks over at Naruto, whom is surrounded by friends and fodder, and smiles. "...Yeah, he is." 

 

Meanwhile, Naruto is being congratulated by the other Rookies and members of the Alliance. He scratches the back of his head in embarrassment, as he's not used to the attention, then looks around for Sakura. He sees her working hard to heal the injured and gives a proud smile. He thinks, "...That's my Sakura-chan."

 

OR

 

He notices the Lover Nin talking with her, gets jealous, and the moment ends on a funny note with Naruto glaring the poor guy down.

 

I can't decide which ending I like more.

Head Canon: Naruto is waking up, seeing the revival jutsu in process by Obito as well as the tree is disappearing. The day finally reaches to sun rises. Sakura is carrying him on her lap and Naruto tells her, "It's finally over..." Sakura cries heavily for not only it's over, but tears of joy to see him alive and well. Everyone watches the scene with a smile and tears. Lover nin will say, "He's the one that she loves. Lucky! Love is in the air!" with tears no less. Minato and Kakashi approaches to Naruto and Sakura with a smile as both of them reminded MinaKushi and ObiRin respectively.

 

I just know that ova can happen. I pray that it happens.

Headcanon: Every time he returns home from work, Sakura would always greet Naruto at the door with a hug. Yet, even though it's become a habitual thing, Naruto is still taken by surprise each time since he'd never had that experience growing up (of someone waiting for him at home). This shock and the feeling of happiness that followed also increased after his two kids started doing the same.

 

Side note: I really like that ova v_v, and I hope something like that happens too.

Headcanon: Sakura frequently invites Naruto to have dinner with her and her family. Since Naruto has never experienced sitting down and having dinner with an actual family before, he's more than overjoyed to join Sakura. During dinner, Sakura's parent ask how their recent missions went, and both Sakura and Naruto are more than happy to share their respective stories. It really makes Naruto feel at home.

Saw this Headcanon on Tumblr and just had to post it!

"Headcanon: During the war, Naruto will notice that Sakura has bangs. Thinking that she’s insecure about her forehead again, he’ll part the bangs and will note how how charming her forehead is." Credit goes to ceriseapplechan for posting such a cute headcanon   .

Probably my favorite headcanon by kirabook:

 

*cough cough* Given more recent developments…

I can imagine Naruto getting dressed all snazzy in what he thinks will impress Sakura. He catches her by surprise one night while she’s gazing out of her moonlit window and sings her a really nice serende.

Sakura is as surprised as I was by this.

 

 

By the time Naruto is finished, Naruto is all "Oh, so you were impressed."

 

 

Sakura being Sakura, she goes a bit overboard with denial (like she usually does) and shoves him back a little. Naruto being Naruto actually does lose his balance and falls 2 stories. Sakura spazzes for a moment, as that is not what she intended at all, calling to ask if he were alright and probably going down to check on him. XD

 

 

In a way, it’s a repeat of the Summit arc. XD

Seems so natural for them, I’m sure something like this would happen more than once. Sadly, who knows if Naruto can actually sing. This’ll probably just be an anime thing.
