I'll laugh if the opposite happens.

Natsu just wrecked one of the Spriggan 10, and he probably isn't even fully awakened yet. It might take a bit for him to get to full power, but even if he's not, Dimaria said that his power was like that of the gods, and she probably didn't get a glimpse of his full strength.

Not to mention that the guy Gray beat said that Natsu needed to die because Zeref was the one who needed to beat Acnologia, but Natsu was a threat to that, which implies that Natsu has power comparable to both Zeref and Acnologia.

but that's just it. There's hope, no guarantee Don't get me wrong, I will enjoy  the heck out of it regardless but I can't take death seriously with it. It's like american superhero comics really lol. You can't expect your heroes to stay dead

Woah both Natsu and Gray goes berserk because their girls dying .... i feel the author want's to ensure the readers that both were rival and a "healthy man" ... not gay, or nothing like Gray become Natsu only goal or vice versa bull s**t. I'm glad the author leave the love triangle to dust and liberate Lisana from damsel in distress, she cares more about her siblings ... unlike some petty princess i could name ...
