I actually keep my interest in anime and manga a secret from others in rl. Knowing where I live I would be seen as an oddball.

Probably a 6

I like comics, mangas, animes, movies, games, etc 

But at the same time I'm not really THAT fanatic about it like some other people I know

Eh, I'm only a nerd for things I like, so books, mangas/anime, jap voice actors/actresses, and decorating things...

EDIT:I'd say I'm somewhere in b/w 7 and 8.

Like that boy from Bob's Burgers (Think his name was Darell) "I'm not a nerd! I'm an enthusiast!" Lol but yeah I'm probably a good 6 or 7. Where I live watching anime/ reading manga isn't rare and it's not considered a "bad" thing. We live in an age where comic book movies sell millions so it's no surprise people would catch on to japanese "nerd" culture. I'm just super hardcore about stories I love.

Lets see look at my instrest, thankfully, I rest my case. I think that I am a total of nine on the mesuring stick of how big I am of a nerd. I am in to particle physics, astrophysics, ect. Gaming and manga/anime oh and linguistics.

Fandom wise, I have read all of the Lord of the Ring books, all comic books from the DC comic versus along with Marvel's comics. I have read a lot of manga from Shoujio to Shouen manga over the years like Sailor Moon to Slame Dunk.

I graduated 300 hundred out of a thousand and something students now mind you this is someone who has learn disabilities so that is a big achievement for someone like me.

Well, fandom-wise I'm pretty nerdy, although in real life I don't talk much about being an anime fan. I DO talk about stuff like LOTR, Star Wars, Sherlock, and Supernatural. I'm also a huge fan of certain video games like Zelda and assassins creed. As far as intellect, I was valedictorian at high school but I really only obsess over music (I'm a huge music theory nerd), history, and language. I hate math and science even though I can do well in them, haha. So idk what to call myself. I suppose I'll say like 7/10?

Maybe a six or seven on the scale. I can be a pretty big nerd about history, books, manga and such, but it's largely something I keep to myself.

Yeah, and then there's the issue that most of the people around me are, well, religious to say the least, and anime/manga is largely frowned upon in that group. I mean, I'm Christian, but I don't really consider myself 'religious' if that makes any sense.

Religion and anime? I'm catholic but I don't really like to push religion onto people, so I guess you could say I also not that religious. Maybe thats the reason why I don't understand how anime can affect religion.
