I was thinking that when Kakashi and Sasuke are going back to the village Sakura will have a talk with Naruto about her feelings towards him and when Sakura walks away Naruto grabs her arm and kisses her.
How would you like NS to become canon?

It's most likely going to be a callback to the bench scene. Though I think it would be nice if one of them was transformed as Sasuke.
Naruto could do it not to try to steal Sakura's kiss like last time but to find out who she actually loves more and to make sure her confession was sincere
An interesting twist would be that Sakura could transform into Sasuke. She knows he loves her but wont ever be up front with it so she could transform into Sasuke and ask him (like Sai did) what he really thinks about Sakura. So essentially she would be tricking him into confessing.

I'm not quite sure if it will fulfill Sakura realizing that Sasuke back then was Naruto ... but I'm definitely seeing a mutual confession near a bench at least. Maybe even a kiss too since Chapter 3 they nearly did. I know it's shonen, but Kishi does like to go full circle so this is still possible.

Do you guys think there's a possibility for a confession, now that things are getting really intense? Naruto could find an opportunity to confess to her briefly before the fight. Or is that just wishful thinking?

Before the fight, I wouldn't even spend hopes on that... Maybe some Sakura feely moments towards Naruto though, and the confession later.

Yeah, I think that's more reasonable. I really would love to see her think about how she feels about him.
