Hi Guys,

idk if anyone has posts that, if yes, pls delete this Thread ^^

Here the Interview: (Source: http://www.saiyanisl...arutos-finale/)

Warning: Naruto manga spoilers ahead

The story of Naruto Uzumaki has been told to it’s completion by the great Masashi Kishimoto-sensei. With the manga officially over now, the legend behind the series speaks, sharing his feelings in the aftermath of the finale. He also offers his point of view on the ending. Take a look below at an interview along with pictures of Kishimoto-sensei and his work.

Additionally, there will be a musical adaptation of Naruto and an exhibition featuring the manga work in Japan next year. To that, Kishimoto-sensei says “I am looking forward to all of those adaptations. The planned exhibition will be a huge one. ‘Naruto’ fans will be able to be immersed in its worldview, while those who do not know much about ‘Naruto’ will look forward to reading the manga.”

For those wondering, Naruto Part 1, both in anime/manga is simply referred to as Naruto from an official standpoint. Part 2 of the manga is also referred to as Naruto, however, fans have dubbed it the timeskip. The anime series for Naruto part 2 is called Naruto Shippuden. With the end of Naruto part 2, the true end for the Naruto series has not yet been reached. Kishimoto-sensei will be working on Naruto Part 3 mini-series, with focus on the next generation! It will be released Spring 2015 in Japan. The final title for part 3 is yet to be determined, but as soon as it’s announced, we hope to let you know right here on Saiyan Island!

Question: What are you feeling now?
Kishimoto:
Because I just completed the last episode less than 12 hours ago, I do not have any real feeling (that “Naruto” has ended). I have had to meet a deadline every week for 15 years, so I feel that there’s a deadline for next week. I thought of many things to do after (“Naruto”) ends, but I do not know where to begin. I want to do something other than manga. Don’t worry, I will continue creating manga.

Q: When did you decide how to end “Naruto”?
Kishimoto:
Since the work was first serialized, I have been determined to end the manga series with the battle between protagonist Naruto and Sasuke, who has been his rival since the start of the story. I later decided on the details, little by little, such as whether they would fight each other as friends or enemies, their feelings and dialogues, while I was drawing the series. Around two years ago, I began to feel the story was approaching the finale.

When the series started, the editor responsible for my work told me, “Continue the series for at least five years.” The tough work of continuing to draw “Naruto” for the weekly magazine occasionally made me think that I would like to finish the series. I did not think “Naruto” would last for 15 years.

The story lasted for such a long period because the characters “stuck it out.” When I attempted to quickly offer an answer (to issues raised in the story), the characters did not allow me to do so. If I had made them act as I wished, the reality would have been lost.

Because manga artists are always working inside rooms, it is difficult for us to see firsthand if our works are really popular. It was not until I received many fan letters from overseas that I realized (“Naruto” is) popular outside Japan. Some of those letters are written in languages I do not know, so I understand that my work is read by people in various countries.

One fan mail contained a photograph of a small child dressed as Naruto striking a pose. Such attachments make me happy.

Q: Were you conscious of “One Piece”?
Kishimoto:
It is impossible to be unconscious. (Both “Naruto” and “One Piece”) are serialized in the same magazine, and “One Piece” has always been running ahead of the pack. I have been able to work so hard writing “Naruto” thanks to “One Piece.”

Q: You will turn 40 years old on Nov. 8. How do you feel about that?
Kishimoto:
I remain a child in terms of mentality. Nothing has changed from age 25, when the series started. I just worked at the desk to create high-quality, interesting manga, and 15 years passed before I knew it.

Q: What would you want to tell your old self?
Kishimoto:
I hope to tell my 23- or 24-year-old self, who painted Naruto and other characters on copy paper just as I wanted on the veranda of my family’s home: “Cherish him. You will write a serial manga for 15 years using the character.”

Q: On The Last: Naruto the Movie…
Kishimoto:
The latest film is a love story. It will depict what happened between the 699th and 700th manga episodes. I designed the characters and helped make the story. Although I wanted to write about the romances of Naruto and his friends in the manga series, it was too difficult. I am not good at writing romances because I feel embarrassed when trying to do so.

I just have one thing to say-- Congratulations Masashi Kishimoto for ruining your own 15 year story with a terrible ending.

I don't know why you did it or if it was the way you wanted to end it all along, but those two final chapters put a big stain on all your efforts and hard work for the 698 chapters before them. Very few fans are left satisfied.

Congratulations Kishi. You can still continue to milk money out from the fandom who were satisfied at the ending. :zaru:

Does this mean that Naruto will become the ninja version of High School Musical? Everyone will be dancing and singing and twirling.

So we now have a clear answer that when he said he had the ending clear in his head he had always meant the Naruto vs Sasuke battle , which was 698 . The other two chapters ,  which involved the romance part of the story , he completely made on a whim . He probably does not even understand what he has created with NS  ....

Well kinda makes sense. He doesn't know what romance is. He probably toke idea from his assistants and editors to really spice the story.
But failed to see what he had created.
Oh well. Thank kishi for the journey...you spoiled the end. But I ll rep narusaku till the end.
It was a good ride. I always had a feeling he didn't know wtf he'll he was doing. With all the back and forth. I couldn't have been trolling. It was definitely all just a jumbled mess in his head. Makes perfect sense now. Any other writer would have ridden that narusaku like a stallion in the end.

Guys feels "embarrassed" gimmie a god damn break.

Whatever.....it doesn't hurt as bad today.
I'm sure within a few weeks time I won't car at all either, and just go back to looking for some good ol fanfiction.

High School Musical had a satisfying ending, so probably not.

Well being "EMBARRASSED" about writing romance didn't stop him from writing/drawing moments between Naruto and Sakura that were extremely romantic in context, especially towards his own culture. I'm sorry, but not a good excuse on what you did there. I admire your hard work but your ending was just inexcusable.

Why continue it though?? I mean I understand writing things here and there but jesus stop milking the story out already I can already sense another GT.

I'm never reading anything from again. But if I were to read anything from him, I would like for him to focus completely on that story and create a new masterpiece. Maybe he'll learn from his mistakes. (Fyi I'm probably going to read something from him again.)

How dare you say this kitten? :twitch:  Do you seriously expect me to believe you had no idea what you were doing with NaruSaku? Give me a break, you just can't find a better excuse, can you now? If you didn't want NS, or any romance at all, you should just never had Naruto like Sakura in the first place  :smack:  I'm trying to control myself, I really want to insult this guy so bad after what I just read

No more stories from you ever again in my life. At the very least, you should have said the truth for the sake of the fans who were simply reading the story while taking into account every kittening parallels/hints/themes/development you threw at us. We're not making up stuff or making assumptions, it was all there, clear as day, like you intended!!! Maybe you're being honest, but I have a hard time believing that...

Now excuse me, as I'm going back to read Fairy Tail, where trolling may happen but it doesn't destroy years of character development and even your own story.

If you aren't good at writing romance, don't give us 15 years of slow build with NS only to pull the rug out at the end. Terrible.

The only good thing to come out of GT was the awesome final credits. I doubt we get anything that good from Part III.

Dragon Ball GT had an awesome opening as well :D

I don't know why , but my first instinct is to believe that he was actually THAT clueless about it or he was under the impression that he is showing us a mother/son relationship ( is incest a thing in Japan ? )

HOW DARE U

You dare talk about romance.

What are u thinking of us fans as fools, even a fool can see this. What u pulled, what for, only destroyed u the most u know that.

Do u have any respect towards women, even for literature they are boundaries.

The way u treated sakura.

The way u cheated 15 years of urself,a beautiful relationship which was supposed and about to be canon,NS.Ever since the start of shippuden i disliked this garbage.

I've got one question for u "WHO THE HELL IS SASUKE ???"

Sasuke accomplished everything and got everything for free without even asking.

Oh and ur messages are crystal clear, attack a helpless mother giving birth, rip a beast of dying her,try to kill a newborn child, kill the mother, try to kill ur own teachers family, eradicate ur entire clan, destroy a village and kill thousands of people, form terrorist organisation, manipulate everyone and cause all this.Start a war, kill lakhs of people and finally do all heinious crimes, get away with it and u'll get all u want like a king in afterlife.U'll get ur girl and go to heaven.**claps**

Then is sasuke,i don't need to say about him and all he has done and of course he also was accepted back without any problem, the crimes that he had done? what crime? what is this "crime" ? Such a thing does not exist in this world.

Ah yes hard work ? BS what a joke.Never give up,BS another bad joke.

See Akira toriyama was once asked "Sir will u be writing any romance novels and why isn't romance not literally there in DBZ"

U know what he answered"Sorry to all my fans ,i don't know romance,i can't write it " that is where u see honesty and sincerity to his own work as well as fans.

Anyway the case here is different i know NS was about to happen,it was only a matter 2 chapters to be canon,Movie has been on work for years and NS had most validate moments during this time so try that line on ur cat kishi.15 years of development and journey kicked out of the window like nothing.

No matter if its money or anything only u can do this to ur own work.

Money ? u had 15 years of money and glory. All these NH/SS fans are from the west only, manga and movie releases in ur country japan. No matter what,u would have still gained money and this little money matter to u than ur own work ? U got ur money from 15 yrs of manga and movies

Japan was very pro NS,they had many conventions, festivals and such for NS.So u cheated ur own country as well.

SS was popular there as well but it was only for mere fans whom i still don't know what they see in SS to be loved, murder, abuse etc must be romance for them.

8 years i followed this,i feel ashamed of myself.I have seen plenty of manga and anime, both good and bad, never in my life i have see such a garbage.

This is not only becoz of NS but also the way women were treated, characters, theme, opposite messages and morals, proof that crime is nothing u'll still get what u want and get away with it,total make fool out of readers like giving them no respect and ur own pack of lies.
