not at all. in point of fact the two have shared a remarkable development. one I didnt even see untill I looked closer and had my eyes opened.

not really the place to discuss that particular topic but I will say the development theyve had in such a short amount of time is trully amazing. in merely 23 short chapters theyve shared a development that rivals our favorite pairing in quality if not quantuty.

Weve been fortunate to recieve a large quantity of quality moments. Kanae a SasuKarin fan put together an essay that rivals Heronites NaruSaku in quality.

Really? Hell SasuKarin makes NaruHina seem like a well developed shoujo story.

SasuKarin has around the same chance as SasuIno

I know it was mentioned earlier, the bit about Gaara being the one to suggesting to hide away and keep Naruto under watchful eyes. I don't know how I feel about that. On one hand, it seems like a learned and mature decision, because it makes great sense, but at the same time... this is your friend. I guess sometimes we gotta cage people to protect them from themselves. Naruto could very get himself caught with his ambitious ways, but at the same time does Gaara really have that little faith in Naruto? What does everyone else think?

Yeah, but as a Kage, i guess he must make very difficult decisions.

-shrug- Interesting essay. I take it with just as much credibility as the NaruSaku essay that most consider the bible of this fandom. While they do a good job of fleshing things out, it doesn't necessarily make them concrete. And really she bases alot of her arguments off of like 8 chapters. There isn't much development, just more of an implied attraction from her and obscure maybe something more, maybe nakama thing from Sasuke. Especially since Sasuke has kinda gone off the deep end this past arc.

I think Gaara knows first-hand what it is like to die at the hands of the Akatsuki.

Even though he trusts Naruto, he also knows one tiny mistake can be the end. He'd rather have a live upset friend than a dead warrior.

Exactly, he doesn't want people close to Naruto to experience what it's like for a friend to die.

An angry friend is better than a dead one, and even if Naruto doesn't like it, Gaara is the Kazekage. He can tell his friend to put a sock in it and protect him.

@Cloud, Your forgetting just what you said that Gaara is Kazekage of Sunagakure not Hokage of Konohagakure, which means his opinion has no weight on Naruto being from another country. I'm sure Kakashi will address that to Gaara when he tries to tell that to Naruto and make some kind of compromise between the two.

@HikariUzumaki, the whole post i done earlier was based off of after Gaara had told them about Madara going to war over Naruto/Bee.

Yeah, but that idea is certain to fail. Either Naruto and Bee are too rash and escape to join the battle, which leads to their capture, or the joined forces of all the big nations aren't enough to stop Madara and his army, anyways you see it, Naruto and Bee have to be captured in order for this to make any sense.
