Oh ok but still that's really dumb. My kid is missing and someone sort of knows where she is and points me towards a general direction and of course miraculously I'll find her. This can only happen in fiction.

I don't get how everyone is ugly with wrinkles and everything. Kishi only started drawing signs of age on people in their 40's. They should look like the senseis from shippuden.
Yeah, I thought the same thing. He's really going overboard with aging Sakura and Naruto. Not so much with Sasuke though. (go figure.)
But even Tsunade and Jiraiya look more robust than Naruto and Sakura. It's like instead of creating Team 7 as adults in the prime of their lives, he just put bags around their eyes. So they look ridiculous and permanently tired. Not the most powerful shinobis in the village.

This story... ugh. For some reason, I checked out the Gaiden because of the crazy kittens (but Sarada is so far ok on my end, everyone else is on soap-driven drama mode, my God, Naruto and Sakura...) Kishimoto is pulling off of his butt.
I need a good plot not a rain of BS.
