So as you all know, the Naruto series ended on this day exactly one year ago. I thought this deserved its own thread. Any thoughts or feelings in regards to the one year that's gone by beetween now and the ending?
Nope

I remember how right after the ending, this disappointment turned into contempt and quite a bit of hate thanks to Kishi's stupid interviews and how I berated myself for once thinking that man was actually a competent writer
Dare I say after watching the poor movie that was the Last and reading the horrible series that was the gaiden I actually got better because I managed to see for myself how the path Kishi chose actually damaged his series quality wise speaking, it was almost funny in a way... actually scratch that it was funny as hell XD
Right now I'm in a point where I just stopped caring that much about the series tbh, it has fallen completely into kitten and I simply want no part in it anymore

Still a great pairing, no care for the franchise anymore though.

It's like being reminded of a death. "one year since grandma died". yea that's the feeling. Just a grim reminder.

That actually sounds about right. Even the lead up to it sounded like someone who was dying.
"Naruto? Yeah, not as good as it once was. They're losing it."

"My name is Sung Ji-woo. Some called me the Assassin of Death. A Necromancer Deity... My journey has been nothing but walking over a mountain of corpses. My legion of the dead reigns supreme. None shall block my way or... face the wrath of my blades!" --Solo Leveling.

Hard to believe that it's been a year now. To think that there was a time when I still considered the Naruto series to be good. It all seems so distant now.

Well it is one anniversary I'd rather not think about. celebrating is out of the question (not that I'm saying that this thread was made to celebrate it it)

Its like seeing beautiful ocean and its coral suddenly turn into desert wasteland.
I remember everyday as a lurker here long ago there could be at least 10-25 new page on this forum about Naruto, and now slowly there are no one barely half of one new page to read.
I hope the real manga now slowly die like this forum slowly moving away from naruto.

And even a violent woman will become soft and tender to the man she love.

It seems much longer than a year somehow. And I feel nothing.

i remember feeling like i was in a bad dream wanting to wake up from when reading those last two chapters. I felt like spoony after playing ultima IX! i remember the "you're just salty because of pairings! respect the author!" and some bull like that.
the fugly children designs, the tired and miserable adult designs, the theme's ruined, peace not being achieved and still training kids to be ninja, no closure on orochimaru, it wasn't an ending it was an advertisement.

so you'd have considered the story good if ns was endgame, ayy lmao
sure it would have been a good end but don't call the series bad just because of that; this series has been always bad.
