This is a tweet from John Brennan the former CIA director under Obama.

He says and I quote: "Anyone now seeking national redemption by claiming to no longer support Trump must acknowledge how wrong it was to ignore & enable his corrupt, dishonest, & divisive agenda. Total denunciation of a despot's legacy is necessary to eradicate any remaining malignancy"

Let me translate that for people who never lived under a totalitarian regime or don't know history.

"You must think the way we tell you to think and do what we tell you to do. Otherwise we will kill you." That is not an exaggeration at all.

Whatever your political views are on one party or another or one politician or another, this should send shivers down your spine that someone in such a position is willing to say such a thing publicly.

Be very careful what you wish for, cause you might get it and regret it.

Honestly, I avoid politics here to avoid any bickering (of that sort) in my summaries topics, but the fact they are trying to impeach Trump when he has like what a few days left (if nothing happens) comes off as so petty.

Then, you add in the fact that half the people in the country and worse the States themselves openly believe the election was stolen, and that the federal government refuses to allow any investigation or redress. Forget a riot, we have those all the time we just call them 'peaceful protest.' You can have secessionist movement very quickly spark off. Since this can very quickly look like a coup or the ousting of the rightful government.

i don't understand what you mean? yeah it does look like an attempted ousting of the government and it's disgraceful ... but i highly doubt half the people in the country still drink trump's coolaid. it is not petty to impeach a president for crimes he's done if he had not incited a riot that got people killed maybe you'd have a point but no he has to be impeached and it's great to see some bipartisan action for once. as for the election being stolen that's kitten

what?

There are certain things going on in the world, this is not just about an election, this is about something so much bigger than that.

I'll ask you a question, why do you think there are almost or over at this point 25000 troops in DC right now? For what?

For what, a virtual inauguration?

Why are there fences around the Capitol with the bolts to secure them on the outside, not the inside? Meaning they are there to keep people in, not out.

What happened at the Capitol was terrible and I won't lose any sleep if Trump is convicted at his Senate trial. That said...I don't need to here this kind of thing from Brennan. He has no business saying such things about anyone given his own history. I mean he'd know about corruption and dishonest.

This guy spied on the legislative branch during his tenure and then lied about it to Congress. He can screw right off.

@Nate Why would Trump be convicted?

Because "Orange Man Bad" and he must be punished for denying them four years of the rule of Hillary Clinton. Oh, and being a Republican President, they been taught all their lives that's a bad thing.

In an earlier post your were worried because Government Officials were making comments that were warning signs of a totalitarian regime. To them those are good things because, "Orange Man Bad, Kill him, Kill all his family down to his baby grandchildren, Kill all his supporters, and Kill all Republicans because Orange Man is bad. Total rule by one party is good thing as long as they have a 'D' next to their name."

@Nate Why would Trump be convicted?

I'll answer this for him.  Nobody doesn't know outside the US that Donald Trump is actually a con man. This man has a lot of corruptions before he was sworn into office, filed bankruptcies left and right, sexual allegations galore and many more illegal activities. The fact that many people only sees him a "billionaire"/Celebrity/Reality TV Star (host of The Apprentice) doesn't know the real truth about him (only the East Coast, as in the states of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut  -possibly California included- ALL knew who he was when someone mentioning his name)  and he will (and still is) play it off.

And that's just a bit of it. I really don't want to say more because I. CANNOT. Stand. Him.  And I'm thanking God that he is out of office.

I know about his bankruptcy and I also know who saved him, a Rothchild and the history of that family is let's say not for everyone.

I know about the sexual scandals that were presented during battle with Hillary, but that's just political tactics where you pay people in order to discredit your opponent, nothing really new it's been done many times.

The question is what did he do once he got in office that deserved the level of hatred that he got? Apart from hurting people's feelings who get offended way too quickly over nothing anyway.

I wasn’t commenting on the odds. I wanted to be clear that the fact that I think Brennan is a POS who has not right to lecture anyone about corruption, dishonest, and authoritarianism, had any bearing on what I thought of Trump or what happened on a couple of weeks ago.

That said, I don’t think he will be. The best chance was before January 20th even though I think odds were still against it. But now that he’s out of office, Republicans can and will argue that there is no point in doing so now that he’s already gone. I think even Romney, who clearly hates him, has already said as much.

Well some may hate him because they view him as and absolute joke and should never have gotten into office in the first place and has made some very bad policy decisions in regards to Climate change, the affordable health care act and Iran deal for examples (some of which appear to be done just to spite Obama). Feel if though he is an embarrassment on the global scale and how he has just about offended nearly every ally the US had.

Though for recent takes how he has handle of the corona virus could be a reason why some hate him given how America has the worst cases out of all the countries and there have been more deaths in America from this virus than the deaths of USA soldiers in WW2. Him being a saw loser and denying he lost election and accusing voter fraud, heck I think this is why the democrats partly won the two senate seats in Georgia, because he wouldn't shut up about it. Plus he seems to riled up some of his most die hard supporters that you got them storming the capital in the riots last week.

I mean, technically speaking, Trump gave power to the Governors to handle the corona cases the way they saw fit, and the vast majority of new cases are happening in blue states where things are getting out of hand with the governors acting more like dictators than elected officials. So if you want to blame someone for the deaths due to the corona virus, blame the governors. I'm not saying Trump is 100% exempt from it, but he's far from the only one at fault.

Oh, and while I'm at it, Trump tried to prevent the virus from coming here by blocking travel to China and other countries, but the leftist mob called his a racist and a xzenophobe, then proceed to have a surprised Pikachu face when the virus comes to the country.

And I'm forgetting the single fact that NO MATTER WHAT TRUMP DID... He still wouldn't have done it right. Why? Because orange man bad.

Now we have a senile old man with a severe case of demntia in the White House who will only proceed to make things worse, and the only reason our "first female VP" is even in her poition now is because she wasn't picky about who to spread her legs for. She didn't even place during the Democratic debates and got ripped apart by Tulsi Gabbard so bad that she was forced to drop out of the race. Kamala wasn't chosen by Biden, she was chosen by the establishment.

Either way, I'm an Independent now, so I'll just sit back and watch both parties destroy each other. Democrats aren't hiding their push for socialism or communism anymore, and the Republicans proved themselve to be weak and spineless cowards. So... good riddance to both parties I say.

He didn't really do a damn thing. People are just too lazy to research topics themselves and rely on the corrupt MSM to give them any news. Either that or they've got their shipping goggles on so tight that they refuse to try and like the guy because he's part of another party.

In my opinion, Trump did pretty well. We didn't start any new wars, he ended the Korean War and even got N. Korea to stop their anti-American propaganda. N. and S. Korea came to a truce. We killed an Iranian General responsible for the deaths of many American soldiers, Trump was TRYING to pull us out of Afghanistan. We moved our Middle Eastern embassy to Jerusalem, we destroyed ISIS, and I'm forgetting the strongest US economy in decades.

The only reason Trump wasn't that well liked was because of some mean things he said on Twitter and his "grab 'em by the p*ssy" comment he said ten years prior to the freaking 2016 election.

I had people tell me that no matter what was said about trump that made him look better, they still wouldn't vote for him. I would ask them why and tell them to give me a reason and they'd just shrug their shoulders and walk away. I've noticed a lot of leftists like to call Trump supporters "uneducated", yet they're the ones dumb enough to vote their constitutional rights away. Pretty bold to call other people "uneducated" when you're the ones voting for socialism and communism.

Biden is not a socialist or a communist neither is the democratic party, at best they are social liberal 3rd way centrist party. Heck I don't think they are even a soft left social democratic party with how they vote on certain issues.

Plus I don't really see how the two parties in america can collapse with the electoral college still in play as America's voting system, making it impossible for 3rd party to take over

lol sure he isn't.

The Democrats are doing their darndest to make the American people as dependent on the government as they can. Why do you think they've pushed covid so hard as they have, despite the fact that it has a 99% chance survival rate? Small businesses in blue states are suffering and barely managing to keep their doors open as it is, then Biden and the Democrats are trying to push for $15.00 hourly minimum wage. That will only force small businesses to close their door for good, criplling the American economy. Major corporations will be fine...so long as they bend a knee to the leftist mob.

What follows after that is the government giving out handouts of money to the unemployed...for a time. It's already happening with the stimulus bills. What they're doing is they're training people to become more dependent on the governments handouts so they can be controlled more easily. This is exactly how Socialism starts and Communism always follows after. It's no secret Biden was bought by the Chinise Communist Party, who is also starting to buy up land around where I live. Now, why would the Chinise be buying American land, hmmm?

Be it ignorance or the unwillingness to see it, the people who supported Biden just to remove Trump from office have played right into the hands of something they'll soon wish that they hadn't. I see all these university "educated" kids saying how much they hate Capitolism and would rather live in a communist nation...it sickens me that they have the audasity to call other people (who actually lived under communism by the way) "uneducated". Pretty soon your "superior IQ" won't mean a damn thing once you're pressed between a rock and a hard place. Between the Communists who want to rule over you with an iron fist and force you into slave labor, and those who don't want your stupidity infecting their territories.

The Democrats aren't pushing for communism, huh? Then why have they gone through so much trouble of sensoring the right and people who can counter their madness? Youtubers and journalists are being removed from social media platforms without warning, and many people are being unsubscribed from them without them doing anything. If one side feels the need to sensor the other, then it probably means the other side is telling the truth. And the only people who hide the truth...are those with something to hide. Obama's own words.
