Now that Tobi has been unmasked, and there is officially another living Uchiha besides Sasuke, will Orochimaru continue to focus all his hopes on dreams on Sasuke?

From what Kabuto said during his fight with Itachi and Sasuke, it would seem that Orochimaru was interested in becoming the next So6P. Wouldn't Obito's body be far more tempting to Orochimaru, since Obito is an Uchiha who already has Hashirama's cells (another thing Orochimaru was interested in) and a Rinnegan on top of it all?

This is assuming Orochimaru was powerful enough to take Obito on. Orochimaru wasn't stupid and I believe that if he had the power to do something he would. That's why even though he was after Itachi he never made a move. He thought it was easier to get to Sasuke so he could manipulate him into doing what he wants to do.

Plus at the time, Obito posed as Madara. Everyone knows Madara's name alone is enough to put fear into people. I don't think Orochimaru would want to mess with Madara.

I kind of agree with this. However, Orochimaru knows maaaany jutsus and is a very cunning, unpredictable fighter, so it wouldn't be too far-fetched to assume he could win against Obito. After all, Obito's body is that worth getting hands on.

Possible, but I think he would only go after Obito if he had no other choice. Devil's advocate here if he can take on Obito, why not go after Itachi again? Why go after Sasuke unless there is something special about Sasuke that we don't know about yet.

Maybe I am a bit over thinking, but what if Sasuke has something special about him that no other Uchiha has?

I think it will be Madara, for some reasons they will be defeated and orochimaru will do the edo tensei again, Madara will tell everything to Sasuke, Sasuke will become Madara 2.0.

I was thinking of this too. O_O I just wonder which of them had the best speciality. Obito's mysteryman skills or Orochimaru's stalking ability.

Because we don't know how Orochimaru got involved with Akatsuki(I wanna know!!). If it was through Obito, maybe he demanded to know his true identity. Maybe Obito was interested in Orochimaru's Edo Tensei, but why give up what you were trying to hide for so long.. And Orochimaru joined around 10 years ago, maybe that's when old Madara died and the plan would be set in motion. But Obito managed to hide his identity from everybody, even from his genious sensei Minato, and it took 16 years to reveal him. I would be like "WTF??!" if Orochimaru says "oh, that..I already knew lol *trollface* "
