Team Asuma see a couple of kids running through the deserted village. the siblings go to get a teddy bear one forgot and are confronted by team asuma who asks them where the other villagers are.
Team Asuma is observed by team jiraiaya especially Nagato who has a flashback to when his parents were killed he unleashes a powerful yell that destroys the house and cause the kids to fall into the sink hole created.
team Jiraiya jumps in to save the kids, Choji and Ino want to go as well but Shikamaru holds them back.
