Are people crying because they're moved by the film, or are they crying tears of sadness over how absolutely AWFUL it is and over the loss of the REAL Naruto they grew up loving?

Sasusaku was clearly the most developed pairing! thats why they get 0 scenes in this movie. Its because the entirety of Naruto was their wuv story, NH might be an ass pull, but Sasuke's one line in the movie is clearly him protecting Konoha for Sakura
Lols induced spasms aside, I can say with all honesty, that I firmly believe that SS has had more development than NH, negative development, but still development. And I'm eating popcorns and waiting to watch this disaster happen, with crazy mad SSers that howl and bellow that they suuuupercute ship isn't featured as much as it should have, while psycho NHers are in-between screaming canon and being all WTF happened.
HA! In your faces! Keep it like so, a sucky nonsensical manga with sucky nonsensical asspulled parings.
Peace.
- L'inguaribile ottimismo di un dodo.
Hungry for glory - AS Roma 1927
But they were all of them deceived, for another canon was made. In the land of Japan, in the fires of Studio Pierrot, the dark Lord Kishimoto forged in secret a master canon, to control all others, and into this canon, he poured his cruelty, his malice, and his will to dominate all life. One canon to rule them all.

My girlfriend cries at everything. Even when it's normal drama scene. My point is there are people that are touched so easily. No, it's not a feminist thing I was addressing....It's not that hard to make people cry, actually.

Wow, truth be told I can't even be mad at this. It's pretty hilarious how far off the movie and the last two chapters are.
What was drawn and written through, at the very least, 692 chapters of this manga lead many non-shippers and casual fans in a completely different direction. Kishi's rules and themes he wrote are completely disregarded when it comes to the romance aspect of the story. This man truly can't write romance to save his life. If what he says is true and the pairings were decided a long time ago, then he unintentionally created one of the most powerful bonds in the manga and had no freaking idea how to stick to his original endgame pairings. It's is extremely sad and unethical (IMO) when you have to undermine a relationship in order to move on with the story to "make it all fit". I'm going to reiterate what I said earlier, if he didn't know/was embarrassed to write romance then he should never have done it in the first place. Not surprised that he failed to understand character's feelings.
You get an F for literary competence Kishi. Count me in the group as no longer a fan of your work.

To be fair, it is the second-most developed pairing in the series. The manga clearly shows multiple times why the SHOULDN'T be together. Development doesn't have to always be positive.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS NEGATIVE DEVELOPEMENT! SASUKE-KUN ALWAYS TREATED HER WELL! It was Sakura that was in the wrong.

You didn't read it right!
Sasuke and Sakura were always in love, but he was scared of hurting her ;___; and Naruto was always cramping their style trying to get all up in their relationship and make Sasuke jelly.
And then Sakura was unfaithful and being swayed towards Naruto! Sasuke got so jealous he, being the Yandere that he is had to try to kill her so no one else could have her isn't it beautiful? JOIN ME AND CONVEEEEERRRT.
Pls shame me for procrastinating.

this one just explains every single NH\SS asspull
To think this was drawn when Hinata was forced into one of Shippuden's Openings (or maybe endings) that was Team 7 centric

Kishi must be mad at Oda for comparing his wife to a terrible woman that is Sakura.

So this is a perfect example of how things have changed:
The design was so cohesive back then, with it's brightest colors being reserved for the two romantic leads, Sasuke having the black and red, and everyone else in earth tones, greys, purples, etc.
Also, the silhouette of Naruto and Sakura stood out in contrast to Sasuke's traditional clothing, and then his cloak. It was literally a tug-of-war between new and old.
Look at the movie however, and Naruto's clothes have been dramatically toned down. Black on the top, orange on the bottom He is now better suited for Hinata's black hair and purple-grey clothes.
Sakura's still in red, but the pink is gone, and the outfit as a whole is less pleasing. It's just the single dress, with the waistband, and not much else. Very simple. Compare that to her old outfit where every element looks active and ready for combat. Sasuke's in a grey poncho or black cloak. In either design he looks like a traveler, a monk or a wino.
Hinata and Sakura have switched roles in the movie with her now in the more active looking costume, and Sakura in one that's more simple, not drawing attention to herself. Which is the intention of the movie. (Which I am hating all over again.)

This is terrible lol.
From takL:
date in the moon village
when they are exploring the ruins (the noon village) and naruto is checking a room with sakura and hears hinatas shriek from the other room and rushes to Hinata. she was just surprised at spider nets caught her hair. "Hinata is a bit of a scatterbrain to miss the cobweb nearby when she can see far away with byakugan. " naruto giggles and removes the web from hinatas hair. hinata blushes.
Then the mission becomes like a hot date for the 2.
in that small room in the the deserted house scene, Naruto and Hinata eat cup-ramens together. and Hinata rubs ointment onto Naruto's injured back.
Naruto confesses his love to Hinata but then Toneri shows up.
Hinata goes with Toneri without saying anything
Naruto chases them only to get pwnd hard.
in that big room in the deserted house Sakura treats him and comes down with fatigue. Naruto wakes up and gets sulky like "I don't care about hinata anymore!" (thinking she dumped him for toneri)
Shikamaru tells him off and sakura provides mental care to Naruto.
Sai asks shikamaru if it's not too much for Sakura to heal Naruto's heart not just wounds?
shikamaru asks Sai if he thinks he can do the job.
Actually Hinata was shown a vision (of Hamura?) by an old man from the main branch of the O’tsutuki clan and determined to stop Toneri’s wild ambition. that's why she comes with Toneri.
as a matter of course Toneri interprets it as a sign that she falls for him.
Natori: would you knit a muffler for me?
And as Hinata says OK he is in bliss and enjoys a cup of tea while Hinata is knitting it.
then he finds out the muffler is still (filled with her love) for Naruto and tears it up in a jealous fit .
later on (perhaps after the fight?)
Naruto asks if he can have the shattered muffler. "I really want to have it!"
wwwwwwwwwwww
Anyhow desperate Toneri casts genjyutu on hinata to make her marry him.
He puts some round stuff (a cookie?)in his mouth and tries to make hinata eat it.
there Naruto cuts in. "Give Hinata back to me!"
So after all the advertisements along with Kishimoto personally announcing to the public that this movie is all about romance, this was the best they could come up with....?
Kishimoto declared that he is bad at drawing romance but it appears he isn't the only one. Whomever it is that helped Kishi come up with this movie sucks at romance as much as him, if not even worse.
It doesn't feel like romance, it looks like a joke!
