I don't have to even know a word of Japanese to tell you that is fake, the translation is nothing like how Kishi usually answers his questions, it's just a photo of a page with some text, there is no source, this is a fake and a bad one at that.

As in, it had detailed information and introspection on the part of Kishimoto. Not to mention that the reasoning was halfway believeable.
Yup. Doesn't sound like Kishimoto at all. If it was really from him, the interview would have been full of vague statements that contradicted themselves two questions later, interspersed with a lot of awkward laughter.

I'm glad you guys are more perspective, my friend told me to look it up and I instantly believed it (probably because she told me though, not the interview itself). But then 5 minutes later I read it all over again and realized that it made way too much sense to be true.
I asked someone for a source and everything and I got no reply. Fake until proven otherwise.
Do you guys think a Japanese fan did this?

i don't think he made NH happen due to popularity, i think he's acting like a 3year old throwing a temper tantrum because his marriage fell about, and he was using the fanbase/manga to let off steam. i guess he's dumb enough to not mix buisness, and personal life together.

That's an interesting point. Rumours have been circulating that the "personal reasons" Kishi spoke of was the stability of his marriage. I'm wondering if there's any merit to the claim.

Beats me. I'll say this: if we hear the news about it, then we got our answer.

I don't think we can be certain of anything unproved, but that would explained the failed family life Kishi is portraying. Also I wouldn't have time for a sexist mangaka who expect me to be a housewife, yet has no time for me or my kids either! x) I'd divorce him too.
