You have no idea how excited I got when I saw that picture! Oh man this is so cool; i'm a bit conflicted though. Big Boss is unbelievably badass but the flashing "P" on the page makes me think it's gonna be another Portable Ops which would put a dampener on the MGS 5 theory.

around 3:19 in the PSP Go video that i posted in the E3 thread, a New Metal Gear for the PSP is mentioned, though I think a PS3 Metal Gear will be announced that will have some connection to the PSP game.

They are pretty much saying Kojima jumped ship from sony to xbox. We will have to see what truly is happening.

I'd doubt it, every third party studio is going multiplatform because thats where the money is, not because he's trying to spite sony. And plus, you know Microsoft wouldve taken the opportunity to boast that its an exclusive if it was.

Did you seen Microsoft's conference? They made that announcement right alongside Project Natal instead of with other games. They ARE personally singling it out as a big thing. Also I dunno if it was really meant to count for MGS: Rising, but didn't that guy brag that all the coming announcements would be things exclusive to Xbox?

That Was MGS4, Kojima Productions already stated they are not working on a 360 version. This is a new game.

no, before they got into the facebook & twitter thing, they were talking about exclusive 360 games, they announced MGS: Rising later.

I'd rather Big Boss be on the Major Consoles but I guess that'll have to do. Anways, as long as there's Metal Gear im happy.

Oh okay well I guess that works to then. I hadn't really seen that other interview with the VP but honestly I didn't really stick around to long after they interviewed Kudo; I figured anything that they gave G4 would just be info that'd be circling around anyway. I have to wonder though if Sony is gonna be hurting from this at all? Regardless of the fact that they are still getting 2 Metal Gear Solid games Microsoft is getting one now which may keep a few people from shelling out those few hundred clams for the PS3. It's not like Kojima is doing this out of spite or anything either, all these developers are a part off a buisness and even if they work hard to please the fans the ultimate goal is to make some money.

I'm kinda happy they're using Raiden. It'd cheapen MGS 4's ending if they just brought Snake back for another game right away prequel or not. Maybe eventually it'd be nice to go back to Solid Snake but right now it's probably better to just move on.
