If you ask me, when it comes down to it, the pairing has basically been concluded since it started, since Naruto's side of the matter has had no romantic development. You have to remember that Hinata (and this may sound bad to some, but it's how I personally see it) is basically a glorified outlet of Naruto adoration. You could literally exchange that "Naruto-kun" with any unnamed fodder from Konoha, and it would amount to the same thing: Naruto's people needing him. It was given to Hinata because she is a named character, popular and because her character nowadays basically revolves around nothing else but Naruto-kun'ing. 
 
Fandom-wise, the pairing wars won't come to a conclusion until something is indisputably canon. And even yet, they most likely won't conclude; screams of bad writing! no foreshadowing! etc will come left and right. That's fandom for you.
 
But manga-wise, I guarantee you wouldn't have thought twice about that Hinata panel if you weren't a part of the fandom, and only too aware of how it will be taken by some sides of it. And that's because manga-wise, the evidence pointing to NaruSaku is as clear as day. There's literally no room left for down in that regard. Everything else is just taking isolated events and losing sight of the big picture, IMO.

But seriously, that would be some spooky sight. It could be a good horror game idea. Walking down and one of them will just open up as a mutated necromorph. I smell money.

May I also say  to those freaking out about NH that we got a small NS moment here too. Remember NAruto said that he'll destroy the meteorites and for Sakura and Kakashi to stay next to him and Sakura stuttered "O-ok!" Not a big deal mind you but it's something so make of it what you will. But remember, just like the NH moment Kishimoto did not HAVE TO add that scene in cause Kakashi said nothing.

I thought this was a really great chapter. Quick question: was there any significant difference between the MangaPanda and MangaStream translation? I had to read MangaStream's translation this time around since Chrome is telling me that MangaPanda's website contains malware, so I just want to make sure I didn't miss anything translation wise. 

 

Unfortunately, I didn't get to read all 26 pages of the thread, but I saw some people question why the Edo Kages are not affected by the Infinite Tsukuyomi. I think it's safe to assume that they aren't affected because they have already died- how can a dead person who has been resurrected through a jutsu be trapped infinitely within a dream world if they are not even of this world anymore?

 

It seems that Minato transported himself into the village where he placed his seal on the stone monument. Quite a smart move to make, considering the situation he was in.. I wonder how he'll feel being in the village once again. It looks like he's missing a foot now, too. Poor guy, losing his limbs one by one.  Speaking of which, the branches of the tree have expanded into the village, so I wonder what that means for it's future. 

 

I also wanted to say, that panel of Kaguya over the earth was beautifully drawn, with excellently portrayed symbolism to it as well.

 

Last but not least.. do you all think Yamato is still alive? Or do you think Swirly Poo was controlling him just as Black Zetsu is doing with Obito?

So is it a KN moment as well? I wouldn't think it would be favorable to NS just because Sakura responded, Kakashi isn't really one for words anyway most of the time.

Watched sawyer's review I'm glad he didn't went full NH fan mode on the Hinata part. But there were two comments that made me facepalmed. First sawyer believes Sasuke cares about team 7 because he used Susanoo to protect them from the tsukuyomi. Okay if there's one thin I learned from the manga is that Sasuke doesn't gives a kitten about team 7, its mere logic that he knows he can't stop Madara on his own he needs team 7. The second comment was, yeah you guessed right its about Sakura. Because of Sasuke "supposedly" caring for the team he says Sakura should be fangirling over him, I double facepalmed. Seriously sawyer if you have carefully read the last 400+ chapters you'll realised she's not fan girl anymore, she has matured changed for the better she's now 17. Sawyer believesthat because of her reaction from last chapter, I wonder if the fandom will realised Sakura's maturity someday.

 

Yeah, Sawyer has his moments where he goes a little overboard. But for the most part, I've been enjoying the last...at least 10-20 reviews he's done. He does offer some good input, and the vast majority of the "stupid" stuff he says is obviously exaggerated for humor's sake. Plus, I have to say I haven't seen him once fanboy over NH in his videos. Like, at all. Maybe he's done that stuff waaaaaay before, but it hasn't really shown its signs lately. He was even poking fun at Hinata tripping. From what I've seen of him, he's really not that bad.

 

Plus, as an added bonus, the comment section of his videos are gold mines. So much funny crap in there.

The Infinite Tsukiyomi is truly a dreadful genjutsu.  From what Hinata was saying, the victims aren't fully hypnotized.  They are aware of what's happening, it's just they can't move their bodies, and can only wait until the roots envelop them.  How can his jutsu even be stopped?  Will it really end if the caster is defeated?  Granted, it may work like with Obito if Naruto extracts the tailed beast from Madara resulting in the Gedo Mazou becoming a husk again.  However, what are the possibilities of the off chance this is like Edo Tensei, in which the user is the only one able to dispel it?  That would make the situation even more difficult, because there is no one around that could use Izanami this time.  The best bet would be to have Naruto TnJ Madara.

Not gonna jump into his side.But i understand the reasoning behind why he defends Sakura still being in love with Sasuke.The problem is not just Sakura's feelings towards Sasuke is poorly done but also the reasoning of she falling out of love from Sasuke is also poorly done, the whole handling of the love triangle sucks a lot.If you look at current development Sakura is going to fall out of love from Sasuke because he's evil, in opposition to the fact of choosing Naruto over Sasuke on equal grounds.What we see is Sakura not trusting Sasuke, Sakura viewing Sasuke as evil and etc...This does nothing of positive for NS, it actually does the opposite on my opinion it makes look Naruto as the only option and this is because Sai told Sakura that Naruto loves her.What he wants is Sakura chosing Naruto despite having the chance of chasing a Sasuke that she "loved".That would tell without a doubt to the readers and mostly to Naruto that she truly loves him without any contestations, it would be theorically the best ending.Because the love triangle is a mess.

No falling out of love with someone who degrades you, ignores you and tries to kill you 3 times is a pretty valid reason for any person with commom sense, logic and dignity(execpt in Kishi's world of course). That she still has romantic aspirations for Sasuke right now doesn't make her character any justice, it just makes her a fool.
Sakura choosing Naruto over Sasuke is good for NS but I don't see how it's good for her character, her feelings for Sasuke and the love triangle hurt her character more than anything else.

Exactly, as i said on tumblr already , if we are to coincide that all those chapters where she allegedly is in love with Sasuke - her ''fake'' confession to Naruto , under the samurai bridge , 540, are indisputable love of romantic matter  , then we have to consider Naruto possibly being in love with Sasuke , cause he wants to save him to from darkness etc. And we all know that's not how it is .

We are starting to care more about the love affair of the manga, than the actual story. This isn't a harem

I understand people are annoyed, but the fact that some take it so far as to start quite a rukus over something so innocent really shows how desperate the Naruto fandom can be sometimes. That's why, to me, there was no NH moment. Just Naruto doing his thing, Hinata doing her thing, and everyone doing theirs.

Oddly enough, shouldn't you be happy that you know she's out of the picture. You made it sound like once they get out of Susanoo, Naruto will fly out and sense Hinata one and Madara would be like, "Why are you trying to save one?" Naruto would go all flashbacks on Hinata and probably in the next chapter, she is free while all aren't.
