Imagine that would really happen at the end of Boruto. 

lol yep and I know how to already fix what they did with the end as all this time everyone even Naruto was trapped in Hinata's dream world, that she was this crazy for Naruto it too the others over making them all do what Hinata wants. But that is just the rough idea I have if number 13 does come true which I hgope it does just think how pissed the pro enders will be.

I like to add my own theory : Kabuto orphanage is actually a fake disguise , it's not a real orphanage , it's just a facility to supply Orochimaru lab with fresh lab rat/test subject and host for his inhuman experiment and for his immortality technique.

I don't blame you, Yubie, but from what I got, Naruto and Sakura are looking after Hayato for Sasuke and Karin in that canon on top of raising Shinachiku and Hanami.

his father's a tengu and mother a hyuuga (well, perfect susanoo did become a shape of a tengu and kaguya...well, we know what happened. anyway false.)

kurama's first host (false)

made a pack with kurama and thus created fire jutsu (mega false)

the uchiha worshiped kurama and is why they were killed (they were speculated so...true?)

madara wanted sasuke's body to become whole (false)

the third mangekyou user (false)

Lazy Sunday for me.    So here's something I remembered. We've spent the last 5-6 years reading the war arc, that people forget the original half of Shippuden.

 

That whole capturing the tailed beasts motive changed like 3-4 times throughout the manga. Why? (Again what I'm writing comes straight from the manga!)

 

Pain: The Akatuski's goal is to be "An organization that will accept money for contracts of war...from both small nations and small shinobi villages alike. At first we'll take on all sorts of conflicts for little money so we can exclusively corner the war market...Then we will use the Tailed Beasts to cause new wars altogether. Eventually we'll be a monopoly controlling all wars. And once we are in control, we can destroy the system of shinobi villages even in the Great Nations, which will finally allow us to attain our true goal...World Domination!"

 

(This is from Volume 36, chapter 329) Is this really the same Kishimoto? This writing and plot direction does not add up with what happens later. It feels more mature and intelligent (even by Naruto standards).

 

Tobi: Haha I'm the real mastermind! The real goal of capturing Tailed Beasts is for the "Eye of the Moon" plan, in order to put everyone in the eternal dream. Okay, I guess?

 

Madara: HAHA, I'm actually the REAL mastermind! He originally tells young Obito that capturing the tailed beasts is needed simply to reflect the Tsukuynomi off the moon so that it affects the entire world. Remember that white plane he shows him, and says it is an unfinished canvas? The goal was to bring everyone there. A “slight” deviation”. But then we get the best part.

 

Kaguya (aka Ms. Asspull): Suckers! I was the real mastermind all along! As the black blob explains: The "REAL" goal of the infinite tsukuynomi was to trap everyone in cocoons to make a white plant zombie army to fight the Otsutsuki Space troopers of the Galactic Federation who are planning to invade Earth for "REASONS". Wait what?!

 

Again, the direction of the story changes drastically, and terribly, but notice how this all happens after the Pain Arc. So it makes me wonder. Just how much of Naruto is "actually" Kishimoto's story? Again, we've spent the last few years on the war arc that we forget what Naruto once was. These things just don't add up. Go back and read old chapters and you'll notice the inconsistencies and plot changes. Fascinating ain't it?

Oddly enough pain had a better though out and more realistic plan than obito, Madara and kaguya. Pains plan made sense the others made no sense what so enough and had some many problems and things that could have kittened it up to not happen.

Yeah. Even in my fanfic idea, Naruto: The Demon Within, it still seems so odd to have Madara execute his Moon's Eye Plan, since he is the one in place of Obito in a clone body, but the idea to why he does it differs since he does it because only HE should be the one to decide how everyone lives and such due to his having grown a god complex. Long story, 'nuff said.

You forgot the slight deviation from Pein in that it then became about "showing everyone the horror of war" due to what he witnessed and that, after lending out the Gedo Statue for one side to obliterate the other in a war, soon everyone would be too afraid to go to war out of fear that they would be completely destroyed.

You forgot the slight deviation from Pein in that it then became about "showing everyone the horror of war" due to what he witnessed and that, after lending out the Gedo Statue for one side to obliterate the other in a war, soon everyone would be too afraid to go to war out of fear that they would be completely destroyed.

 
Still better than putting everyone in an endless sleep and waste life watching over everyone til they turned into zetsu. Still saying pain had a better and we'll though out plan.

Probably shows why the chosen cliche is over done and bad if you don't know what your doing like the matrix and man of Steel with its Jesus symbolism. It's why ichigo and yusuke are better characters cause they aren't chosen ones. I have a big problem with this chosen one thing cause it ruins the character, aside from maybe Harry Potter and Luke Skywalker were done right.

I always wondered about Minato's teammates. I was curious for the manga to reveal about them or tell further information on them, but eventually that didn't happen.

On the flip side, if you ignore the fact that we already know how things go, the way the Star Wars prequels did the "chosen one" narrative wasn't bad.

Anakin may have been believed to be the "chosen one" who would "bring balance to The Force", but Palpatine masterfully manipulates him for years and so Anakin grows up arrogant and is a pretty decent balance of unlikable, but sympathetic due to things like the death of his mother, possible impending death of Padme, and still dealing with the distrust of the Jedi Council (despite everything Anakin would have had to do over the course of 13+ years). He ends up being a key part in the extermination of the Jedi, making it seem like a complete subversion of the prophecy by becoming part of the Sith, and this only continues for over 20 more years until Luke manages to reach the part of Anakin thought to be "dead" and he does, in fact, fulfill the prophecy by essentially "resetting" the status quo - with only a single Jedi in Luke to start things over from scratch.

I quite liked how the first 6 star wars movies handle the chosen one and choice narrative.

Or look at Moviebob's video which is more negative about the Prequel, but still says how they did stuff better than most hollywood flicks on chosen one narrative.

Same, I thought he was Naruto's dad (Minato) when he was just a silohouette because of the spiky hair. I wasn't surprised when it turned out different though. Pain is the most badass Naruto villain ever and was the most OP character at that time until Madara and Obito came.

And then you get even more hyped over the reveal of the Rinnegan - the supposedly "most powerful" doujutsu - especially after seeing what Nagato could do with it when he was able to decimate Konoha single-handed, including some of their best shinobi and even Naruto himself (until THAT happened XP), and yet at the same time, they keep him from being completely OP when he admits to things like he would have lost to Jiraiya if it weren't for Jiraiya being taken by surprise with the Rinnegan and its abilities, or that the things he has demonstrated with it so far were nowhere near as powerful as the original Rikudo Sennin, so it left a lot of room open for learning more about the Rinnegan and its abilities.

Sadly, because of the constant Uchiha wanking, the Rinnegan was reduced to being little more than just a SYMBOL of power rather than actually BEING powerful (that was just left up to the Sharingan, as usual, even making the Rinnegan itself part of the Sharingan essentially with the whole "evolution" into it from an Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan if you combine Senju and Uchiha DNA) when it came to ones like Obito and Madara having / using it themselves; Obito not introducing anything new with it - just using a watered down version of Nagato's Six Paths (that didn't even have any of the individual abilities of the Rinnegan like Nagato's did, IIRC), and Madara merely dropping a couple meteors and using a "perfected Susanoo" (which was little more than just a full-bodied one rather than half, but otherwise operated the same way), and not seeming to even use most of the abilities that were introduced by Nagato, but otherwise not doing anything new or unique with it. In the end, it felt like the ONLY purpose the Rinnegan served was purely for the Rinne Tensei - a convenient way to be able to bring people back to life.

i always liked to compare them to sith for some reason cuz im a star wars nerd. Madara reminded me a lot of Exar Kun while Nagato/pein reminded me of Vader. and this one might tick some off but, Itachi as Revan.
