I don't care about NH much...... There was no negativity between Naruto and Hinata. They never hurt one another.

 

But SS..... Damn, i don't think even Jerry springer could deal with the kitten between them.

 

I just didn't like how they had no development and I was annoyed because there was no hint of Naruto --> Hinata pre-Last. None whatsoever. Naruto was in love with Sakura and then the Last just threw all of that out. So while I've never ever been a fan of Hinata and I didn't like her (though I didn't dislike her), NH caused the destruction of the series in my opinion so whenever I think I NH I associate it with the death of Naruto. 

 

But yeah, I hate SS even more than I hate NH (though I still hate both). SS is so dysfunctional and messed up, it has no place in the manga other than showing why that relationship doesn't work.

 

Kishi planned in advance? LOL. I don't think so. Rereading the last 250 chapters of Naruto should dispel anyone of that notion. No No. Kishi perused the Internet and took what was originally no more than an easter egg and turned it into another source of pointless drama that is sure to have an unsatisfying resolution. He doesn't know where he wants to take this series. No one does.

 

As for Hinata and the other girl, he has no idea what to do with them either. This story is about Bolt and Sarada having mean dads and how Kishi himself had a hard time working and being a father simultaneously provided you disregard that there's not a damn reason for Sasuke to be gone for 13 years without so much as a word, much less for Naruto to not have the shadowclones do the paper work while he personally spends time with his kid. Instead, what we have here is forced and pointless drama.

 

I'm not trying to give Kishi any credit (would never do that) but in my opinion, that design choice was intentional. The Bolt movie was announced the same time that The Last was released, the chapters were available then, so it's entirely possible that this whole Salad thing would be addressed. In my opinion, this Salad situation was planned. As far as him not knowing where he wants to take this series, I totally agree with you.

 

Definitely. Himawari and Hinata have no use, they were only there to make NH shippers happy. Well, everything has been about the movie(s) recently, ever since they started canon movies they had to change the manga to fit with it (although that wasn't done well at all). This manga is nothing more than a lead up to the movie. Good point about the shadow clones, I actually hadn't thought of that lol.

I can't speak for Kishi personally because I'm not him but this is how I see all of this:

 

As an author, when I write a MC I put part of myself into that MC. But it's not really just the surface layer stuff, it's more of my dreams, hopes and aspirations those types of things (I guess it's kind of like those parents who live their dreams through the life of their kids). From my observations, it seems that Kishi is a weak-minded person and it's partly because of this that Naruto as character worked so well at the beginning. What I mean is, if Kishi had the hope/desire to become more strong-willed, to stick to his word and have a stronger resolve, Naruto's initial character would've been a reflection of that (like I believe he was). But the problem with that is that it's a double-edged sword. While he puts these aspirations into a character like Naruto, he's still him and third-parties will 'influence' him because he's... well... weak-minded. He goes/went along basically with whatever his editor tells/told him. So it would be expected that he would cave into the pressure from SP and/or those "louder" so-called fans who cared more about their ship then the actual series itself and in turned ruined it.

 

So what initially gave birth to a great character and initially a great series also caused it's demise. Or at least, that's how I see it.

Yep, fully intend on doing that. Got a novel franchise in the works which I'm coming back to after I finish a TV pilot I'm working on. So if all goes well, I'll build connections and earn some money. Got a plan in my head for all of this, hopefully I can enact phase one this year (which I think is very likely atm).

I'm determined to change this. I don't care how stupid it may sound or how long it takes me, I'm going to buy out control of SP and fix this mess.

We could see throughout the whole manga that Naruto and Sakura were meant to be together ! They complete each other ! And as you said, Hinata will never be the kind of girl to oppose Naruto (plus she was the only female character who didn't have a strong personality or a tsundere ) 

 

Oh God, I  have that pic of Naruto and Hinata with short hair holding hands on the moon in my head ... that's...that's disgusting...  (and Idk why, it kinda saddens me  )

How would you suggest they make ns cannon? Their options are limited.

 

Their options are pretty limited. I s'pose some of the ways they could go are:

 

i) Genjutsu route - simple. Would make a lot of sense. Would explain a whole lot.

 

Actually, that's it. If they truly cared about the series, that's the only thing they should really need to do. I posted it here a while back but everything after 699 (maybe even 699 itself) should be declared non-canon. The Last movie and all future movies should stay the non-canon route and continue as their own series of movies (supported with LNs and spin-off mangas if they must) whereas the true canon Naruto manga and anime should stay true to the manga itself. Have a final ending that makes sense (NS) and if they want to continue the story of NS kids and other pairings well do so in the anime.

 

If I had enough money, I'd buy out SP and make this happen. To be honest, I'm curious how much I would need to actually make this happen...

Thanks for the info. Been doing a lot of different things lately (also working on a TV pilot which I'm hoping to get pitch-ready in the next few months) so I've been keeping busy and honestly totally got the whole NS fiasco thing out of my head. But what do you know, read a completed manga, brought up the whole NS thing again and I'm back into the swing of things :)

Well I'm sure she can find another anime studio I mean there are far better ones out there that don't kitten around like SP does,

 

Oh that is true they have their head to far up their behinds to know how a good story should be done, to them we all need to Love NH and SS but we won't nor will we ever like them.

 

If it were me, I'd find it seriously difficult to stick around. I might continue doing it for a little bit, but I'd be looking for other jobs that would allow me to quit the current one. Especially if there was a rival company of SP that had approached me earlier. The enemy of my enemy is my friend :)

I really hope it's fake ! but whether it is or not, the fact that NH/SS fans bully people is true...and they won't stop it ! they proved to be really immature people, who think they are allowed to mistreat people just because their pairings are canon, without even worrying about people's feelings. 

I really hope she's okay. No one deserves to be treated like that, especially for something as shallow as pairings being canon and shipping

lol yeah. lois and clark had this love/hate relationship, it especially showed when she started living with him temporarily. i cried when jonathan died :(

Same, dying in his family's arms. He essentially died protecting Clark. Gosh, John Schneider did such a good job as Jonathan Kent.

I felt really sorry for Lex though. He had it hard, he wasn't a bad person to begin with.

699 - Sakura still has feelings for Naruto. She's graduated from her first love.

Naruto has again become the hero of the village.

700 - Non-canon promotional chapter for the Last Naruto the movie (also non-canon).

So Kishi I'm still waiting for you to resolve the ending, I absolutely hate open endings!
