Wow. Leave Sakura alone guys and other characters too. There's only one culprit in this travesty.

#616672 The NEW NaruSaku Debate Thread

Posted by Aslan on 28 October 2014 - 11:21 AM

I too agree with the majority. Sakura is the changing variable in this love confusion so for her to confess first is a better fit for the whole situation. Moreover, her confession doesn't necessarily mean to take form of wordy speech but through an act to demonstrate her affection - this is more impactful to me. If Naruto were to confess, it will be after a big Sakura>Naruto moment. But by that point, I'd imagine NS will be canon through that moment.

Secondly, I can't regard this whole thing as Sakura having to make a choice between Sasuke and Naruto. I'm not buying 693 as romantic leverage. As a fandom, I think we associate the word love too severely with romance when it can also be associated with altruism. But based on logic, I think we all know that Sakura's intuition will gravitate towards Naruto nonetheless.

#596807 well guys the manga is said to be ending in 5 weeks

Posted by Aslan on 07 October 2014 - 01:26 AM

Wow this changes things. The thought of 5 remaining chapters appears as if though it will end with the fight then continue onto the movie. I really hope there's more to it than that and the chapters are in some way extended.

Can he genuinely wrap up the series and all its plot strands on the side in one fell swoop? I find this so hard to eat to the point where I tell myself this news must be untrue. But I know I should wait for the manga to end officially before I make such allegations because Kishi might actually pull a rabbit out of the hat. Still...

I mean, my profile pic reminds me, what happens to Yamato and all the other forgotten entities? Are they going to continue being lost causes?

#591300 Is Kishimoto really contradicting himself?

spoiler

This speaks more than words. Her thoughts are selfless, unlike her words to Sasuke, she never tried to understand Sasuke, and she can't.

Agreed. There is more to her than just "Sasuke-kun..". Action speaks louder, NS embodies this. Something that her love for Sasuke can't even begin to comprehend.

#590997 What's with Sakura?

Hmm.. the events are still raw, so we must wait patiently for the next few chapters. For now, we can only intuitively interpret the situation. Bear in mind I'm preparing for the worst so I took MS' translation for granted.

Well I guess we all need to live with the idea that she simply loves Sasuke and that may never change. But. Being in love with him is another matter entirely, and an understanding that the majority of this community can come to terms upon whom her heart truly lies with is Naruto, which is a notion we clearly see..... then again that power utterly remains with Kishimoto. Even so, the signifying expression she gave Sasuke's back doesn't integrally bode well with her words. I dunno, her facial expression kinda speaks louder to me and contradicts what she said. Its a mystery within a mystery. But as I said, we can only wait for future chapters to get further resolution (at least i hope so since this chapter asked more questions than it answered).

#564274 Hey Guys

Whats up everyone!

I am not very familiar with forum-type websites and I've never interacted, discussed or conveyed my opinions to a community before so I guess you could class me as a virgin in that regard xD. In that retrospect, I figure I might come off as uncoordinated and incomprehensive in my attempts, therefore go easy on me....please.

Been following this site from the outside in as a quiet guest and finally woke up the nerve to join in hope to express my perspective in a clear and positive manner. Anyway, I'm not an avid manga reader(with the exception of naruto) but I do read in general. I am en route the NS voyage and will continue to support it - with a grain of salt of course. I was extremely late to board the ship as I was only following the anime at the time. The first series didn't really appeal to my shipping interests significantly but when I viewed the first ep of Shippuden, thats when I officially knew we were onto something!

I have come to realise that I may have had the fortune of "losing my virginity" to this particular forum. What goes around, comes around and whats going around is that there are other sites that oppose NS fans and their members pertain to bias and unkindness. Luckily, we have this backbone to fall on and I am so grateful that my "first time" was to a forum overflowing with positive vibes. Looking forward to meeting you all!
