I wanted to punch narutos kittening face in when he started siding with orochimaru in front of tsunade. I saw that one clip and just shut it off. Tsunade probably regrets saving naruto from orochimaru back in part 1.

I thought id post my recent narusaku fanart here. I drew it after i saw some offical artwork of the canon couples on twitter and i thought we needed a narusaku version of it. The artist i tried to copy was Ohako on twitter.

SP makes hinata look like shes had multiple plastic surgeries. I swear, her eye shape has changed like 3-4 times in recent promo art and episodes. I have enough evidence, i might make an entire post about it. XD

Oh yeah just wanted to add how strangely unappealing Ikemotos art is. Like, its not anatomically wrong, his linework is fine, the dynamic poses are interesting and i like how he colors page spreads yet somehow he manages to make the characters look ugly. I think the way he draws the eyes and the shape of the faces makes the characters unappealing to look at. Look at hinata, she doesn't look like a 30 year old, grown woman.. she looks like shes 14 which is terrifying, theres no maturity in her face. Salads facial features are those of a child but her facial expressions are that of a grown up which is equally unsettling when you see what she wears and what she says.

Oh finally someone wants to comment on that!

 

You see stuff like this happen when a new writer (especially bad ones) takes over such as in sequels remakes comics fanfiction ect. The new writer is reluctant to add new characters for the new story. Since their new character may not be as well liked as the old ones, or laziness. So, they instead just overly rely on old characters to do everything; no matter how unnatural it is. Here, the scene is suppose to be a meeting to show that Naruto was going to make nail his ward, and why that was so important as well as the risk involved. Now a better writer would have had this be a meeting between important people within the village. However, this would have require him to create a group of people that run the village, think up a system of how the village is run, and think of the relation of both this group and Naruto/Hokage as well as the individual members to each other. So it just easier that apparently the kage drop everything to go to another village to talk to one another, and agree on the plan that kage was already planning to carry out anyways.

 

But thats the thing, bail.. I don't think they're utilizing old characters very well either. They could've put kakashi, gai, kurenai, anko, hiashi, yamato or ibiki for a village council. There are so many old characters from the village of konoha that couldve made more sense then the other kage for this meeting. Kodachi or ikemoto don't have to make new characters for a village council, the old ones are just as good. I think the problem is that they have no clue about the naruto universe. They are just living in this tiny bubble where only naruhina and their half-hyuga lineage matter. They have forgotten the history and all the past side characters that actually made the shinobi world of naruto.

I have a friend who said that even if narusaku did become canon we would still get boruto as their son because thats what kishimoto had in mind. I don't know about himawari but i think that has some truth to it.

If boruto was a narusaku kid and i am horrified by that thought, i think sakura would have been more involved in his life then hinata ever has. She'd keep him in line for acting up and probably make sure that naruto wouldn't be so distant from his son.

I also believe that sakura wouldn't just stand around while her hokage husband was kidnpped. She'd tell her son to wait for her while she went with the other kages to rescue naruto herself.

Wasn't Sakura having money troubles if she does run the hospital?

To be honest, i think kishi wasnt serious about sakuras financial troubles. I think he just threw that fact in there for a joke and now nobodys going to mention that ever again. Just like all the other plot points in the story that were mentioned in the original series butbnever followed through with.

I finally got to read the chapter and the first question that popped into my head was, do the other kage just live in konoha now? Why the hell are they always conveniently present everytime naruto wants a meeting? Don't they have their own villages to rule over?

And i love how naruto was willing to be more of a father to some strange, shady kid instead of his own son.

Also, don't you guys think that sakura shouldve been the one diagnosing and studying kawaki? Being a medic nin is her whole thing afterall. Doesn't she run the hospital or something? Every chapter is stranger, i swear.

As for art, i say ikemoto is drawing naruto better but only naruto. Everyone else still looks horrible. XD

Not gunna lie, i thought naruto and hinata would be cute together back in part 1 but then shippuden happened and i cringed so hard at hinatas confession.

As for sakura, i really liked her in part 1 even though she was a sasuke fan girl and started loving her after her fight in the forest of death. I feel like people dont talk about that fight scene enough. Sakura took on 2-3 people all on her own with nothing but academy level jutsus. She cut her hair and got beaten to a bloody pulp but she never gave up trying to protect her team mates and lee and i found that very admirable.

Im convinced hinata wouldve given up if she were in sakuras position and she had to protect her teammates. Cuz you know, kiba and shino arent naruto and not worth fighting for. In fact, i think the only reason she stood up to neji was because naruto-kun was watching..

Anyways, i feel like people really over look sakuras first actual fight when they hate on her. In that fight, she showed that she was brave and selfless and willing to go to any length to save her teammates. I also think that that fight had the only true sasusaku moment in the entire series. If naruto had seen sakura fighting for him and sasuke, im sure his love for her wouldve increased tenfold.

 

While I STRONGLY disagree with this statement and I know any actual fan of the series does, I suppose the reasoning for that is the typical focus more heavily on the guys than the girls so the girls don't get to showcase as much on their abilities and prove to be able to stand evenly with the guys, even though they can. And Admittedly my point of contentions is even for all secondary characters that don't get much focus the girls are less emphasized in the action scenes. But let's not forget, Ochako took down Himiko and captured her, and Himiko is quite dangerous having nearly killed Rock Lock, so that aspect is just haters hating, because Achako is FAR from a useless crying damsel like other female characters   

 

I agree with you and i love uraraka but ive seen a lot of hate on her. Fans are just plain cruel and unforgiving sometimes. What i mean to say is that sakura gets so much hate because narutos fandom is toxic not because she was written to be disliked.

Im joining this topic late but i don't think sakura was written to be disliked, fans on the internet are just cruel. The only reason sakura is disliked is because she gets in the way of peoples favorite pairings. For example, uraraka hasn't done anything annoying or kitteny in the MHA manga but there are still people who hate her, they'll claim she useless but in actuality they only hate her because she gets in the way of their yaoi pairings.

 

So i think its not the way sakura was written that makes people hate her but because she gets in the way of so many pairings. Naruhina, narusasu and sasukarin are all ships that ive seen hating on sakura. I really don't see any other reason to hate one her.

Now I don't know what the name is and the translations of this novel are pretty unclear. Some say hinata is the clan head, others say she isnt. What is confirmed is that she easily beat hanabi and that she has trained boruto and himawari. All in all, this book tries to make hinata and sasuke seem like better parents then they actually are.

Well,....okay, but is it not true? For things as they are, shouldn't these characters be doing more?
Naruto should be there for his family more...but he isn't.
Sasuke should definitly need to be there for his family more...but he isn't.
While we as a fandom don't think she is a master of anything, the story does make her out to be the Byakgan Princess after all. LIke, she is the goddess of the Byakugan or something. Better seal her in the moon too since Hinata is the next Kaguya.,...actually this may very well be true. She she was probably the one who put Naruto in the genjutsu to brainwash him and is probably using her Kaguya powers to manipulat everyone to her will. Starts to make since now doesn't it?
Anyway, the point is....look at Chi-Chi and how she was at least teaching Goten some basic fighting techniques to survive. So okay she is not a perfect master of everything, but at least she was teaching her child something...this is contrary to Hinata who, when asked by her own son about something she SHOULD know, tells her son to go ask his grandfather and Aunt cause she couldn't be bothered.
I mean, from everything that has happened...you'd expect Naruto and Hinata to be there for their kids when things hit the fan, but Naruto is too busy in his work and Hinata is too busy "Naruto-kuning" that they could not be bothered. That is just sad. Hinata could have at least gone with Boruto, if she really didn't know anything, to find out what the hell is going on. Does she not care?

Hinata: "Not now, Boruto, I am busy making your father another scarf. Go ask your Grandfather and Aunt and stop pestering me."

Its funny you say that james. I crossed paths with a boruto fan account a couple of days ago. He claimed that hinata was jounin and told me that in the recent naruto shinden novel it was confirmed that not only is hinata jonin but shes also the head of her clan.

So i asked him this very same question, why did hinata send her son to hiashi instead of helping her son discover his eye powers as the head of the clan? He had absloutely no answer to that. These plotholes just make her look even worse.
