While I always love to see lots of Sakura it is impossible for Kishimoto to give her so much "screen-time" for now. Even Naruto barely gets any! This is because the series has quite a bit of characters and as it seems to reach the climax of the series, there is a lot going on. Kishimoto must touch on all these events that are happening simultaneously, making featuring any character for very long impossible. Every character, however, does get chunks of Kishimoto's focus and screen-time, it's just there is so much to cover! So, I'm just waiting for Sakura's turn again.

Kakashi was slightly better than Zabuza during the Wave arc. Since then, Kakashi has spent 3-4 years training to become more powerful, while Zabuza has been... quietly decomposing in the ground. In hindsight, not surprising that Kakashi managed a decisive victory this time around.

I certainly agree with your assessment of her leadership abilities and genjutsu potential, but water element chakra? where's the evidence in the manga that directed you towards that conclusion?

Yea I don't know if she would be water element. I think it depends on how you want to look at it. Once you look at the main elements we know of in the Manga I don't know if it would be possible for her to be water.

Wind
Water
Lightning


Sasuke = Fire / Lightning
Naruto = Wind / Water?
Sakura = Earth? / Healing ability

Really it makes perfect sense because Naruto / Sasuke have a parallel through the whole Manga of having the elements that promote each others strengths. Of course Naruto is loud and destructive. Sasuke is quiet and thinks about everything. Naruto is not easily swayed and Sasuke is. Also you have to take into thought about who Naruto's mother is and where she is from. You also have to consider we have seen many many times the people in the Manga with strength are pretty much earth element. Either way Sakura being earth would also promote both Naruto and Sasuke as does her healing ability.

wasn't zabuza better than Kakashi? I always thought the reason he could hurt Zabuza was because Zabuza was more used to the quick silent killing technique instead of duelling (for which he didn't have the stamina).

Matter of opinion I suppose.

And I to think that Naruto and Sakura need more screentime. Hurry up with the war arc Kishi...

And water element would imo be great for sakura. Fuuton and Suiton can easily be used in a collaboration jutsu can't they. Would help Sakura of her complex about "the only things I can do for Naruto are small and insignificant".
