An major update in regards to the KH TV show rumors: Allegedly, plans to animate a KH series within Disney's internal animation studios fell through, so they handed the project over to Square-Enix themselves to produce a CG-animated pilot with Unreal Engine . I'm still skeptical if this is just an an elaborate hoax or if it's real, but if it's the latter, I'm at least reassured that SE is doing it themselves and making it a CG anime over a god-awful live-action adaptation.

It looks like it. It also appears as though that she may have a deeper connection to Xehanort than we realized (she may have even been one of the children that he was experimenting on). Also, I'm starting to speculate on whether or not Kairi's grandmother is actually Vor or Urd from KH:Dark Road(which would only tighten the connection if Kairi was actually related to one of Xehanort's fellow apprentices). And man, was Kairi pissed at the end of the video. Here's a translation of what she said to the hooded figure:
"It's your fault my fate was changed... and because I wasn't strong enough... everyone got hurt, Sora too... and now you're right here in front of me, so even if this is just a memory or an illusion... I'll never forgive you!"

Just finished MoM and let me say....
Yeah, she's made good strides with just Merlin's magical training and having Axel as a sparring partner, but having an actual Master train her will definitely shoot up her badassery. And it looks like she may be adventuring with Donald and Goofy while they look for Sora. Man, I can't wait until 2022.
