No one should be mad  about this though.

Why not? The story was hot garbage, pairings aren't everything

But eXecution arc was waaaay better than Hueco Mundo arc...

The beginning of the war arc was promising, the last arc was a mess though. Wish I could forget about it

Fate/Zero was great, definately, but UBW was largely disappointing as a follow up for me. You may still enjoy it though, I suppose it's more a matter of taste than anything.

First mistake is considering UBW to be a follow up of /Zero

It doesn't works like that

@ Nar123

But Naruto outsold them, that what matter for shuheisa

Naruto had a crap ton of volumes compared to DN and AOT and even so Naruto's sales were getting worse with time due to how horrible the later arcs were

And once again, just because something sells doesn't means it's good, Naruto is a big example

In manga industry, how much franchise produce money is matter ?  Sorry but ranking base on personal preference don't count.

Money and popularity =/= quality

Naruto is a big shonen hit because of it's earlier years, it managed to hold on even if it's later arcs and the ending were horrible and turned the series into crap. Regardless we have many series that are better than Naruto quality wise and still more popular, as I've shown through my links

So honestly I wonder where you found this personal preference thing, is it too hard for you to accept that Naruto isn't the most popular or the best thing out there?

Anyway are you still adept of your silly mastermind theory? C'mon I'm waiting for proof and evidence, if you argue without them you'll only be bringing more shame to your fandom ;)

How much their tankobon sales ? How much money with generate form the movie ? How long it can endure ?

About Kishi, can you rationalize unnecessary total uproot NS foundation in manga by Kishi himself ?

AOT? You saw the links didn't you? It surpassed Naruto, both the manga and the anime

Death Note has public which is why it generated a live action movie (and a sequel) and a live action TV series, if it wasn't popular this would have never happened

It can endure a lot, AOT is constantly at the top when the volume comes out, a little behind the monster that is One Piece

Death Note is a classic that is still revelant a decade after being over, will Naruto be as relevant a decade from now on?

futhermore there is no need to rationalize something that didn't exist, if it did I'd like you to show me some valid proof and links like you asked me to :)

What truly happened is Kishi made a choice, a bad choice that disappointed and alienated a big part of his fans, NS are just part of this affected part while NH and SS brush off how much the ending sucked because they "got canon".

Agree. I don't like NH/SNS at all, but I can see why people ship them from part 1. SNS had positive development and NH even though they weren't much, it was also positive as well. I thought Hinata's proud failure speech was nice.

If course, both Hinata and Naruto had a one side obsession with their crushes, making me hate these ships (Sakura/ SS as well).

I thought people would understand NS slow but growing relationship, but I guess people really can't get over Sakura's treatment towards Naruto and Sakura overall in part 1.

By the end of part 1 she was already a lot better, it just happens that people already had their bias in place at the time

Exactly, his message could be valid but he failed in the execution

We had something awful like mass murderer Obito being forgiven due to his past dream and not ever being accounted for his wrong doings

We have Orochimaru that is still alive and active after all the evil and grief he caused and so on

Yup, and who said that shonen can't have romance.
Kenshin and shaman king have great romantic subplot.
And they're published in wsj.

iirc Ichigo 100% is a shounen as well and romance was the main focus, IMO it was also very well executed there

The author even made a NS cover

Goes to show which pairing we would've had as the final one if we had someone more competent making and developing Naruto :fu:

Fanart and fanfiction aren't part of the pairing war, the pairing war was and is still build around arguments and evidence from the story

Fanart and fanfiction are things from the fans, they aren't part of the "war" and have no relevance in those awful arguments and flame wars that generally happened in tumblr and other forums

LadyGT moved on to better things, she doesn't draws Naruto all that often anymore because she recognized it's crap

So honestly you don't know what you are talking about

The Naruto "fandom" doesn't even exists anymore, what we have is a broken base

Do you mad your suicide style abandoned by recent anime/manga pairing war participant ?

Didn't even bothered to make a cohesive reply against my arguments, instead made one with the troll like question "are you mad?"

It seems like you've shown your true face at least, kid

Now get lost, you won't find validation for your insecurity regarding your fragile pairing here :^)

#902558 The Naruto Agree/Disagree Discussion Thread

Posted by Nar123 on 18 February 2016 - 12:17 PM

Statement: In the end, Hagoromo and his relative were a mistake.

Agree or disagree?

Kinda disagree, kind of agree

Hagoromo wasn't a mistake, his lore and story were pretty interesting, however Kaguya and Hamura were pointless additions

Kaguya was there to act as Deus Ex and be the worst villain in the franchise, Hamura was there as a plot device to make the Hyuuga relevant again

Toneri and the two villains I can't bother to remember the name from the Bolt movie were also pointless additions and compete with Kaguya for worse villain, Toneri basically redefined what pathetic means in the series

The idea of using Asura and Indra in that reincarnation plot device was also pretty stupid and undermined one of the main themes of the series

So yeah, the sage of six paths concept was actually cool and interesting before he showed himself up and expanded on his family

I don't see any problem with people choice Hinata like type.
It's a people preference.

Yep, the problem is when they end up self inserting themselves in a character and live vicariously through them

I believe that's the case with many SS fangirls and NH fanboys

For example,I have no problem dating someone who is shy, I find that the trait can be quite endearing in fact

However I never self inserted myself as Naruto to get with Hinata in any way whatsoever, instead I supported NS because it was logical

I'm not saying that the only people who support NH are people who self insert though, arguments can be made towards the pairing and it would work with the right development...however it's a fact that most people that were happy with the ending are those that didn't cared about the development of the canon relationships and just wanted to self insert

How about saying otaku community
creepy

You know otaku is a negative term in Japan don't you? Being an otaku is a bad thing there

Japanese men love meek women

Is this any kind of insult? Old style japanese culture values women that are meek and "know their place" in the household

Many times it seems Kishi is a follower of these old customs compared to other progressive manga artists

Yamato Nadeshiko concept is flawed and etc.

Only if it is poorly done, like with Hinata

It bring more harm than benefit to NS artist and fan-fiction creator who still fight in deviant art or fanfiction.net, they still fight will you only moaning.

So criticism and stating obvious flaws in something brings harm?

Wake up, not everyone is going to bow down to such horribly executed ending and final arcs

If you can't handle criticism against Naruto I don't even know why you are here. I also don't get how valid criticism can be considered a bad thing in any shape or form

Your total defeat show whole anime fandom that insulting Japan culture is really bad thing for pairing war.

lol, NS in general never insulted japanese culture while the manga was running

And if someone from the fandom did it later on after the series ended, it was by comparing it to Kishimoto's lackluster writing of female characters

If anything, NS lucked out in not being part of the crappiest ending ever made
