Oda is the guy who does One Piece, right?

Do you guys think he will always fall to this level of just pairing everyone randomly because some moron above him wants to milk the kitten out of it?

Why not? The story was hot garbage, pairings aren't everything

No, he's smarter than that. He already acknowledge that his fans kept asking for romance, but he decline because that's not his manga. That's pretty much someone's else, which should be kept that way.

To be honest Kubo also did things his own way, if only to spite the fans, after all biggest pairing fanbase in Japan is Ichiruki, Orihime is hated by pretty much everyone except a select few

 

I guess this was Kubo' final "kitten you" to his fans after so many other disappointments

That kid in the spoiler ... the hair definitely Renji's style and his/her eye look a lot like Rukia eyes.

And that's why I respect Oda. He does what he wants and writes his story his way, the wishes/demands of fans and higher-ups be damned. Me personally, I think he knows that if they piss him off and make him do kitten he doesn't wanna, then he'll leave and their biggest money maker will walk out with him. Plus, him doing things his own way made One Piece popular beyond expectation. The smartest move is to leave him be.

Outside of pairings, this ending is looking pretty lame. I mean, what a stupid sequel bait. Rather then give closure to old plotlines Kubo is just trying to push for another Boruto...

Let's hope. Because it looks like that industry is moving not towards writers writing a story, but towards mindless creatures that just do what they're told by their overloads.

Apparently Bleach is having an event for the ending where they will be handing out Ichigo and Rukia keychains to everyone who comes. Hope to see a IchiRuki riot there! :th_yeah:

I wasnt talking about the story. I know the story is crap. I stopped reading Bleach along time ago and only started reading again because it was ending. I meant the parings, both had good development in my opinion and it wouldn't matter which pairing got together.

 

I didn't even know Renji tried to Kill rukia. Ya'll have to fill me in on that.

That fact that a lot of IchiRuki fans are NH fans. This goes to shows that if Sakura was really likeable NS would've been the top pairing. I do tend to like the characters that are most hated for some reason.
