Does anyone else agree that the Anime totally and completely ruined the NaruSaku moment at Ichiraku? Seriously! Plus, they refused to show Sakura's pervertedness by not doing the Sexy jutsu with Sasuke and Sai! Poor Yaoi fangirls... But anyway, I do believe that was a disappointment.

Not really im afraid. they kept it almost spot on as far as the manga was conscerned. She didnt quite have the same half lidded look she had in the manga but thats jsut the animation. *shrugs*
The dialogue was the same and nothing really changed as far as I could see.
As to the Yaoi well i wont miss that in the slightest, and its not really needed honestly. especially since all it does is show Sakuras inner perv a little.
Looks more like they made it so it instead showed off how Sakura and other gals get their guys perverted tendencies under control.
and flashed back to the first episode of shippuden on top of it.

Come to think of it, this is just opinions. But the lack of the oh-so-awaited, seductive and half lidded look on Sakura is exactly what I think they were missing. I suppose the example of Moegi and Sakura controlling their 'men' was a substitute for the demonstration of Sakura's inner pervert, but she has done the same thing many times before. I think the brighter part of the episode was Naruto training with Jiraiya once again, and doing the same thing many have wanted: learning new techniques.

I agree this scene in the anime was a bit disappointing, but that may just be because narusaku fan works have hyped it up with mmv's?
As for the second henge thing, I have a feeling we may still see that in a later episode. (unless it seriously can't be aired on TV due to ratings, does anyone know about that?)
edit: By the way believeit6 I literally lol'd at your avatar pic!

After what they've been showing on Bleach recently, I don't think they would have any trouble playing the Transformation scene. I think it has more to do with not wanting to scar young viewers minds with Sasuke and Sai doing the nasty in the middle of the street.
Because that was just horrible. Brain bleach isn't enough.
As for the "Lacking the droopy eyes" thing... I never saw that, really. I saw it more as another one of Kishimoto's drawing flubs. He has a lot of them. The scene itself was actually very sweet in a different kind of way. Whereas the manga made it out to be all Stars and Fluff, the anime made it more like teammates helping and injured ally.
I like that kind of stuff. A lot of people do.
But what I don't get is why everyone and their grandmother seems to think "More Jutsu = Stronger". Having a million techniques doesn't stop you from being Too Dumb To Live.
Kakuzu proved that.
I'd much rather see Naruto improving what he already has, and beating enemies with planning and strategic use of moves.
You know, like what Ninja are supposed to do?

lol, you are right but Naruto isn't just a ninja, he's THEE ninja ! And since this is filler he's not going to learn anything spectacular. Besides, Jiraiya already improved Narutoid's basic skills in the time-skip.

I agree with both of you. Jiraiya wont be teaching naruto any new stuff but *SPOILER unless uve already read the manga* Naruto will be learning from Jirayia's teacher, which inturn is going to help him be the hero in his next fight agenst Pain. He may be learning new technics but also new stargies on how to use his new found powers after his teaching sessions.
Get Chance and Luck!!~
